Premium Member Musically Inclined To Listen Intently

Musically inclined to listen intently
from this title, music is high in my list
always have enjoyed in all my years
so thrilling to me like when kissed

Someone said there's only two kinds
meaning good and bad and that's all
trust my taste has been on the good
the joy of music lifts your heart so tall

In my present times being retired
have ample time to listen real deep
a lover of classical so aids my therapy
helps calm nerves for words aren't cheap

A change in recent days to Gaelic
both Scottish and Irish are a real treat
such a magical lilt sounds in your ears
effecting you all over to follow your feet

In some musical spheres, it's independent
a whole class of its own is folk
I've grown to like it so very much
it speaks to the conscience as broke

So music is a large part of life
it stirs all of what's going on inside
makes one feel a deep longing within
the Lord tunes me to constantly abide

(A look at my musical tastes over the years and what inspires me today.)

Holiday Fun Rewrite For the Equine Inclined 1

DECK THE STALLS

Deck the stalls with lots of Friesians
fa la la la la, la la la la

Tis the season to be Freezin
fa la la la la, la la la la

Donned we now our Carhart apparrell
fa la la, fa la la, la la la

Troll the ancient manure wheel barrow
fa la la la la, la la, ha ha!

Not Socially Inclined

Not socially inclined

We drove to Cascais for two days holiday at
a posh hotel and I promptly fell ill a sort of fever
I do not travel well.

My wife and her extended family had a swell
time, while I shivered under three blankets and
claimed the air condition was sat to freezing.

On the third day I arose, had solid breakfast
no had seen anyone recover so quickly, it is
I said because I’m a Norwegian

After breakfast and packed suitcases time for
goodbyes, lots of kissing and hugs
and they all hoped I would be better next year.

Holiday Fun Re-Write For the Equine Inclined 2

Frosty the Roan Man

Frosty the Roan Man was a jolly, happy soul
with a big wide blaze and a frosted butt
and two eyes made out of Love

Frosty the Roan Man is a fairy tale they say
but the children cluck he could rear and buck
when he came to life one day

There must have been some magic
in that saddle pad they found
For when they placed it on his back
he began to jump around! – oh –

Frosty the Roan Man is alive as he can be
cause we heard him neigh
in his special way
that he loves us you and me
Yes he loves us you and me!

It - a Love Poem For the Romantically Un-Inclined

There was never any controlling it?
No dodging it. Unloading it?
It stuck us both together and held us tightly in its grip
We tried our hand at moulding it
?Healing it. Holding it?
It wanted us together; head, heart and thrusting hip

Once, we nearly cornered it?
We threatened it. We warned it?
But it came once more and sheltered us, ‘till we fought with it again.
Black bruised we gently eased it
?We blew on it and teased it?
We rescued and revived it, till it burst back into flame

Then life drove us and we dashed it?
Thrashed it. Trashed it?
Tested every fibre, every ounce of strength it had?
We badgered it and blagged it,?
My word! How we have shagged it!
?It flared again and gave us, all the pleasure that it had

We disrespected and abused it.
?Never soothed it. Smoothed it?
Caressed or contemplated, its very gentle deeds We hounded it. Confounded it.?
In drink, we’ve damn near drowned it
?But still, it softened life for us and satisfied our needs

This love, it lays between us
?Binding us. Bleeding us?
The tether and the freedom that only it can give Searing us. Endearing us?
Together, there is no fear in us
?This 'It'? Well, that's simple. 'Tis the reason that we live

Poetically Inclined Delusions

She's the closer in her
   own intangible talent,
came upon an absurd
   assumption she
might be a poet, merely
 discernible as conveyed
  ill-drifting imagination
betwixt dispersed antagonism
    and magniloquent coercion,
her mediocre existence aced cliché
 vanquished 'neath forewarning
   zephyrs amidst wildflowers on fire
     & half-forgotten frothy seascapes,
   furthermost poetically fated delusions

Musically Inclined

Her fingers strum
lullabies on my
dopamine lines
from one artery
to the next
She's connected
to every heartbeat
in every breath
like a ***** spiritual
to Still I Rise
Her touch exposes
 surprising endings
and unbelievable
encores followed by
Reach for More's
and dig deepers
So deep
I have to rinse soil from my soul
Having to apologize
 afterwards
because we went from hello
to one hundred miles into go
 Fingerprints
left on skin,
I retrace the chords
she played
My body her piano
tying Ribbons in the Sky
to Your Love is too Hype
Now close your eyes
and allow me to play
a tune or two on you.

Free Cee Designed While Inclined

DESIGNED WHILE RECLINED

Would you like to stay up late watching T.V. with me?
Perhaps we two could share a shard of star shine
Would you like to sit on a sumptuous sofa while we soothingly recline?
On a date declared by a daisy and two daffodils design
Would you like to reflect back to when disco lights lit a path to dance and laughter?
While forever after seemed blessedly within reach
On a blessed beach where I begged thee to bemuse me upon a sand dune
And the sun was besmirched by the majestic music made by the moon
But that was yesterday
And this evening is what a daisy had in mind
And a night by two daffodils designed
They deemed this delightful darkness to be
So
Would you like to stay up late watching T.V. with me?

Musically Inclined

She walked into the room capriccio, with her hair bouncing and flowing rhythmically. The room is now, acceso with excitement. She walks A cappella,
yet some kind of charismatic tune, began playing in my mind, as her classical shape gracefully glides, con affetto past my table. My heart skips a beat then presto, dolcissimo on a crescendo. Con fantasia my mind, follows the music,
as her eyes meet mine. Poetico, her eyes read like two love songs, sognando and magico and I was only brought back to reality, by the charming aria,
of her laughter, as I had inadvertently, spoke the names of this duet.
Lighting up the room with her tunes, like an ancient glow of vibrant runes Changing the time and place, by the presence of her grace Like your new favorite song, you must gladly sing along With your heart dancing inside and your mind carried by the tide
As an instrument of your dreams is now a reality, it seems
The music is not by chance and it has begun, the romance

Inclined

Inclined

The movement of madness,

The selfishness of desire,

Who is higher ? Who is fire ?

Broken ascents,

Non-existent dividends,

Where is laughter ? Where is water ?

Deformed misinformation,

Dematerialized ambition,

What is sin ? What is wind ?

Transcendental realignment,

An ages long assignment,

Which is worth ? Which is earth ?

Wrists Inclined To Labor

Curling 'round the wrists of men
scent of soda, salty skin
burning asphalt and the like
mentholated, acrid sky
Simmered hint of peppermint
lager froth and dart board dust
brisk of midnight on their brow
jaw a concrete bite
Silver watches in their glow
holding scents of lemon musk
brandied oil, wishes too
from every girl they've met
Work is there right at their wrists
melting steel and stamping sleet
backward masked and fortunate
snap of smoke and sky
Earthen ginger, piped and singed
braided breath of momentum
granite blood and calloused hands
centered feet and grease
Held at bay in warm appeal
shadows way past five o'clock
Carved out strong and seared robust
these wrists inclined to labor.

So Inclined

Anything at all indeed
all but those illustrous clippings
fair and weathered still
tempered wrought to weaken steel
playing carelessly like unto posies
wandering all night in days end pansies
collective thought of mind body and soul
watered down in the golden bowl
laughlingly with jowls so large
flexing thighs pimpled so
large n lovely and lovely so
an quaint as a cute bow
flattery thick n romantic
racing against lymrick
that so eloquently filled
chamber of slumber and large lovelies
i am in deed attracted so to those
ladies fair n large
dare i say and so i am inclined
to a ladies weight and her beauty defined

Premium Member Graciousness Inclined

I was not born a girl pleasant and kind,
though, I was taught to be polite;
but over the years manners and grace twined.
I was not born a girl pleasant and kind,
but these days I am graciousness inclined;
oh yes- I have now found insight.
I was not born a girl pleasant and kind,
though, I was taught to be polite.
