Was it all a sweet dream or just reality?,
I sit and ponder that very thought,
During the daylight and in the nighttime,
Wondering, were we ever there or not?
A crescent moon smiled down on me,
Shedding it's white light upon the ground,
I sat amongst the petals, waiting patiently,
And it was there, that me, you found.
Lavender flower petals I did pluck,
As I was seated atop the green hillside,
Does he love me, or does he not?,
My love for you, I could not hide.
I only saw you as a dark silhouette,
A shadow that walked upon the ground,
Among silver stars and a midnight sky,
Your gentle voice was the only sound.
My darkened silhouette was no longer alone,
While yellow fireflies around me dance,
When you came to join me atop that hill,
In the meadow's softly illuminated romance.
I was embraced within your arms,
As your most tender kiss met mine,
On that one warm summer's night,
When our kindred spirits did entwine.
So sad was I when the time came to part,
As the rising sun shined golden upon my hair,
Although, what a beautiful dream it was,
When I awoke and found you there.

At the time of my life, when all should done,
when my life should have transformed into just peace and fun.
The clock hasn’t paused
to allow me to sit
for a moment to rest my old bones for a bit.
Busier now than in my hectic life
where I thought that my work had given me strife.
Retirement at last,
the race has now run?
I’m afraid that is not the way it’s become.
For twenty four hours I worked every day
when I went to work to bring home the pay.
But now far more hours
I really do need
to just scratch the surface of my every deed.
They say that I’ve now got nothing to do
so I’ve time to help others to see some things through
Builder and plumber
consultant and friend,
there is no direction that I must not bend.
Taxi and baby sitter, help me move home,
mend my computer or repair my phone.
Just when I thought
that I’d earned a rest
I’m thrown back in the rat race and put to the test.
Although twenty four hours are never enough
and I get real tired with all of this stuff
now in retirement
against time I still race
for the youngsters today can’t keep up with life’s pace.
Look forward to old age, when you can retire
and sit with your slippers in front of the fire.
The time of your life
to relax, so it seems,
a picture so perfect …….it’s all in your dreams!

One day I asked Dreams
O’ Dreams "Why don't you come to me?"
He said, how can I come to you
There is nothing in your Heart
To call me in your Dreams. 01
Sarcastically he said:-
“I searched a lot everywhere
In every nook and corner of your heart
But I could not find even a single emotion
That I could have loved you.” 02
“I couldn’t see even any single face
On whom to spend
All the treasures of my life
And would have decorated your world
With the beauty of colorful dreams.” 03
“But there was not even a single
Ray of hope, anywhere in your heart
Neither I could find any Saaki*
To offer a cup of drink
Nor I could see any Jaam*
To console my heart
Even there was not any alluring face
To decorate her in your dreams.” 04
“Neither there was any melodious voice
Coming from the lips
Of a morning waked-up beauty
Nor there was any blooming smile
Coming from any sweet innocent child.” 05
“Then how I could have decorated
Your sleep with colorful dreams*
Just think over it
And then
You yourself tell me.” 06

Explanations: Saaki* = Though most of the uses of the word are kept in context related to drinks, a Saaki is supposedly a person (in most probability a lady) who is either a loved one or a friendly cup-bearer. Saaki is actually a person who makes one's drink, a cup-bearer. But the word is also figuratively used for a loved one.
Jaam* = A cup full of drink (wine)
Dreams* = of astonishing beauty

An alert to impending danger.

Beware of the one with hair of fire and,
The voice of an angel.
Watch out for her piercing black eyes.

The message is clear,
Looks can be deceiving,
You must search within your,
Heart and look into her soul.
You will notice the kind smile and,
The black will disappear.
The devil invades our dreams,
Giving us false messages.

B- Become anyone you want to be, all you have to do is believe.
E-Every person has a dream, but it’s up to you, if you want to reach for it.
L-Let no one tell you, you cannot become a doctor or astronaut.
I-It’s in your hands what will you do, to make this dream come true.
E-Efforts and hard work it will cost, maybe you have to work for a terrible
boss.
V-Vacant thoughts and no efforts, and your dream will be lost.
E-Ensured you make your dream a reality, believe in possibilities.
I-Ingenuity must be your reality, for you not to be ordinary.
N-Never say I cannot or will try, then you can kiss your dream goodbye.
Y-You have to believe in you, to make your dream come true.
O-Obviously you cannot expect, your dream to fall into your lap.
U-Use all the resources you can get, to make sure everything you do, is
perfect.
R-Rest, sometimes to get a new or fresh perspective, especially if you feel
rejected.
D-Do not give up, get up!
R-Rise above your storms, it will not be long, then you feel mighty and
strong.
E-Even if you feel not you cannot conquer all your obstacles, trust in
miracles.
A-Appreciate the small accomplishments, it brings you closer to bigger
achievements.
M-Master your thoughts not to think negative, but always to think positive.
S-Stars shine brighter at night, so be your own light, remember if you can
dream it, you can achieve it.
