The Beauty In Your Dreams

You think about love and a companion You dream about a lifetime of lore You're hoping, but for love ever after That you find your Prince Charming But at last all is written You find yourself in the indecision, smitten Abandon like a little kitten And it's just that you're unsure But you must realize that there's a reason You must stop hoping To stop and groping at all those fantasies Every woman wants her one man And every man want his one woman Every dream is not a dream sometimes it's dreams are nightmares And Nightmare so be careful for what you dream for And start believing there's Beauty The beauty of your dream Open your eyes and you will see the eyes of God in him The man will come he's patient sincere and secure Also with the love of Jesus I'm sure So before you go to sleep this night You'll be awakened in the light For God always answers prayers He's coming he's already here no matter how hard it seems But you trust and believe But your time is not God's time It's time to unwind open your eyes believe in your soul and your mind To receive the beauty of your dream For it behooves you to be HOLY And wait on the Lord God Almighty For only He will send you the beauty in your dream Written by James Edward Lee Sr 2017©

Hi James, this is such a beautiful, deeply inspirational piece! Thank you for sharing this message with the world - we need to not lean on our own understanding but to trust God in all things and surrender completely to Him always! Blessings. Pandita

What a powerful poem. I love the part where you say "But your time is not God's time"... In life I guess we need to be patient no matter how hard it gets.

Yes, we do. But it's easy to talk about patients but that virture is a verb and we humans need to act it out. Thank U very much for the kind comments and read. James
