Premium Member Beinn Nibheis - Scene 1

I sit and pause, looking at the sky blue ceiling above me. White vapour cotton wool clouds
gently float like water lilies on an upside down pond. My humble seat, an igneous rock
from the Devonian period. A glaciation past has moulded this comfort to rest this weary
climber. I am in fortunate delight as this skyscraper of old can turn nasty with nature.
These marvels can unite and lure unsuspected hikers, and draw them into a weather world
they have never known. The gulley's and faces of this quite wonderful Munro hide
challenges and dangers for all who dare climb. Many have been lost as they become
disorientated, as natures weather closes in.

The ascent route to the summit on a day like today is quite wonderful. The beauty of the
glens, with their sporadic mix of andesite and basaltic lava mountains, rival many a range
on our fine planet. Many colours explode on the surrounding canvas. Greens and beige's,
greys mingling with red granite masses. Screes are in evidence, a sign of the range ageing
as natures seasons take their toll. Plant life carpets the slopes, where grasses of sorts
mingle with the purple and white heather. Ferns from a prehistoric age fan out catching
the breeze, like Sea´ ferns´ in the ocean.

As i climbed, at various intervals i would close my eyes and listen to the calls of the
wild. The sporadic bleating of sheep, as if echoing through the glens. Crows and their
hooded cousins fly sorties looking for carrion of such. Suddenly they scatter, as royalty
makes a welcomed appearance. As majestic as the King of the mountains can be, a Golden
Eagle glides on the thermals. His subjects looking on from a distance, for fear of
angering him. Rabbits, lizards and even sheep and lambs, bow down in whatever chambers of
safety allows them. As graceful as he arrived, he leaves. Slowly but slowly, the lookouts
of the species declare their haven a safe zone.

This climb has certainly given me a thirst, as the thinned mountain air leaves me tired.
Nearby a small stream offers a weary climber a much needed tonic. This pure fresh
translucent chemical substance quenches my crave, with a gentle splash over my sun beaten
face, i feel refreshed to a point.

Premium Member Villanelle: Five Yin Lines On November 6th Overcome the Top Yang Line

Villanelle : Five Yin lines on November 6th overcome the top Yang line

(Bo, Hexagram 23 (November 6 to December 6): The mountain falls down on the earth and crushes it.
Result : neither side wins completely, only broken bones, bruises, bumps and bleeds in evidence all around.
Guai, Hexagram 43 (May 6 to June 6) : The situation is reversed. Total victory for those who emulate the Superior Man of the Yi Jing.

Solution : Re-do the electoral calendar - May 6 instead of November 6.)

Five Yin lines on November 6th overcome the top Yang line
Yet the Yang and Yin toil and tussle and leave their feathers shorn
On May 6th five Yang lines reign supreme and oust the lone Yin line

Thunder in autumn rolls down plains hushed in grumbles feline
Zhen the Eldest Son will wake strong in spring resounding new born
Five Yin lines on November 6th overcome the top Yang line

In temperate climes in the northern hemisphere the Laws confine
Both the Yang and the Yin within the Year of Seasons foregone
On May 6th five Yang lines reign supreme and oust the lone Yin line

The electoral calendar then makes both parties anodine
Destined always to quarrel and plunder each other's platform
Five Yin lines on November 6th overcome the top Yang line

Heaven and Earth toil to produce conflict no matter which the line
Hexagrams depict the family constellation all forlorn
On May 6th five Yang lines reign supreme and oust the lone Yin line

Reign of Darkness recedes as winter solstice Light begins to shine
Then the Good in Man if cultivated will thunder and storm
Five Yin lines on November 6th overcome the top Yang line
On May 6th five Yang lines reign supreme and oust the lone Yin line

Premium Member The Love Potion

Jesus was at Bethany, in the house of Simon
When a woman with an alabaster flask in evidence
Would anoint Jesus with ointment as expensive as diamonds
Making the disciples incensed with the extravagance

Jesus’ disciples claimed this should have been sold
And given to the poor who deserved such a gift
But Jesus answered them with words to behold
Saying the ointment wasn’t intended for thrift

Jesus told his disciples this woman had anointed His head
For the burial that would be coming they knew not when
He told them that wherever the gospel was spread
This woman would be remembered for this once again

Jesus blessed this woman for her elaborate offering
As she spread the ointment like some would a love potion
Some may wonder if she discerned of His coming suffering
And gave Him her very best as a showing of her devotion

Read Matthew 26:6-13 for the full gospel story

Premium Member Unforgiving On Your Quest

You're not a coward
having shown a great lack of intelligence
or common sense within arrogance towards another opinion

For that which matters deeply disturbed blocked out
hard hitting truth in evidence reads between the lines,
Micky mouse can clearly see the victim trapped
pushing false agendas that promote hate

Inside the visible truth we can see lost
closed doors behind the veil a bully in words
to speak correctly toned casting names of judgement
condemning wisdom hitting a brick wall
chained prisoner of deception

Killing every fact as if tortured behind the mask
attacking victims whom are silent ghosts

Violence towards another being is the code you live by
its easier to eat humble pie and admit defeat
there is no getting through and saving these souls

Brainwashed against the word of God
what can you say about that which matters

To the Victor Goes the Spoils

To The Victor Goes The Spoils

In the confined playing area within the concrete walls of a squash court..
The next few days will definitely witness intense rivalries inside the courts..

It the 1st leg of the local CIMB Junior Squash Circuit, it's a ranking competition...
For junior squash players to benchmark individual progress against the competition..

For over 4 days of stiff competition, players and their coaches will stay hopeful..
The end results will be a good vouch for their hard work and commitment in full..

Junior players from all nooks and corners of the country are gathered in numbers..
They are energetic and fit, all primed and readied to do battle for the top honors...

There are numerous age groups events, to provide level playing grounds...
For these racket-hefting youngsters to jostle for supremacy over a few rounds..

These budding talents, they are very passionate and typically rather emotional...
All against a backdrop of hard running and furious flurries of exchanged shots...

Once in a while, there are heartfelt screams, of jubilation and at times, frustrations..
Ever so often, in ample display, the free hand doing the fist pump of elation..

Tears of frustration will be in evidence, as pent up emotions are given vent...
Each time a player loses in a close encounter, another jubilates in elated victory..

Now there are no financial incentives attached to the ultimate performer...
The one player who beats the other victors in successive rounds, he's winner..

To each victor, the spoils of the battle is a chance to bask in triumphant elation..
To enjoy that feeling of confidence, achievement and euphoria amid admiration..

In a couple of weeks' time, hey presto! it will be again another competition time..
It will be time again to gauge the competition, to the winner the spoils of victory..

Premium Member Choose This Day Whom You Shall Serve Joshua 24:15

"Choose this day whom you shall serve,
but as for me and my house we will
serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15***

OH! You are truly free to choose this
Day whom you will serve. Although you
May choose to follow and worship other
Gods. And I am just as free not to
Join with you in your idolatry.***

OH! We each and every one of us has
A choice of the God's we will serve.
Our culture and our society choose
To worship the gods of silver and gold.
And to worship the human body beautiful.***

But as for me, even though I am only a
Household of one senior citizen. I have
Made my choice to follow Joshua's example
And serve the Lord of Hosts, the Creator
Of the heavens and the earth.***

Whether or not you choose to follow in
The footsteps of the Son of God and
The Son of Man is left up to each and
Every person living today on planet earth.
Some people are freer than others to choose.***

This is the facts now in evidence in countries:
That have not previously known the good news
Of Jesus Christ; are much more likely to receive
The good news with gladness and rejoicing!
They freely worship and freely praise the Lord***

Axious Me

Looking at the emotions I feel run deeper than the color of my skin I want to move forward in my life but I do not know where to begin.

I am thankful for all I have at this moment that I am in. Evidence all around me reminds me of all the things set up for me not to win at this game called life. My life that is. feeling lost in more areas than one where is the passion fulfillment where is the fun in the undesirable places life has led me too? I hear someone say society is an illusion so what is the real truth?

Frustration sinks in every crevice of my inner being so the inner me then becomes the enemy. I ask the question what is the source of this energy? I sit, I listen, I feel the negativity all around me externally, I felt drained, so I reached out to reliable sources both inside and outside to feel recharged.

Our Denial, a Paradox

There exist a place of such magnificence,
Where treasure holds true and knowledge holds you,
An endless map lays in evidence,
A puzzle to be construed, discovery is due.

Such amazement detoured from fascination of being,
Lost by a cause much selfish than is known,
An illusion blankets every sight of feeling,
A life of false freedom and conformity. We are owned.

To discover these riches of what lies before,
Vacant ourselves of all inculcation encountered,
Remove the credence of what have been stored,
Leaving nothing else to be accounted.

Reform thyself from the programs of thought,
Then all that is left is nothingness reaching,
For all the wars that each of us has fought,
Withered away in peace from the resolve we are seeking.

Refute such solutions of these imposters and half truths,
The shackles that encapsulate our every move,
Only with this denial, a new hope will manifest,
Re-building our home together as equals and nothing less.

Yet we are accepting the bombardment of lies,
Forging beliefs that is tying us up for our own demise,
We put confidence to this con, hoping we will rise,
Folding our hand, surrendering the dice.

Then slowly but surely, such magnificence we will forget,
The magic we hold and our essence withering away,
The future of mental slavery we will then blindly accept,
A debt with our lives, all of us will have to pay.

Premium Member Blanket of White

Nature didn't get the memo.
The weatherman said sunny and bright.
According to what I see now,
I suppose he got it half right.

The sun is no where in evidence,
conspicuous by it's absence, at best.
It's bright all right, that's for sure.
With a layer of white we've been blessed.

I really don't like the winter.
Cold weather just isn't for me.
But even I can admit it's pretty,
this blanket of white that I see.

Sun Shafts

The cumulous arrive in train;
with thrusting breath that reeks of rain,
a roiling moody, leaden pall,
to shroud the world in shadow-fall.

Thunder grumbles; muted flashes,
rain with sting and wind with lashes,
a blanket, nebulous, intends,
for blue to meet ignoble ends.

When all seems lost and Sol's retreated,
in evidence he's not defeated;
a shaft of sunlight tells the wary,
the veil's only temporary.

Nanny Don'T Be Scared

Awaiting the news, we feared the worst and hoped for the best.
Life was about to put my family through an unforgettable test
Mom came in, evidence on her face, that nanny wasn't okay
"nanny has cancer" mom cried "we won't see her for a couple of days"

I didn't sleep that night, that night was one of the worst
I have never been to a funeral before, and I feared nannys would be my first
I cried myself to sleep, and little did I get
I wasn't ready too lose my only great nana yet

After the hospice , I visited nanny, and I don't mean to be rude
But seeing her like this scared me, she looked like a skeleton decorated in tubes
It was exceptionally difficult not to cry, but I tried oh so hard
I walked over, hugged nanny tight, and handed her my home-made card

It said: nanny I hope you get well soon, I know you'll be okay
It's okay to be scared, we'll visit you everyday.
And when you get home, things will change, we won't ever fight, it's true.
nanny never give up, keep on fighting...
I never want to lose you.

As her eyes scanned across the page, tears welled up in her eyes.
That was the first day I've ever seen my nanny cry.
We hugged for forever, cried together, and quickly did time pass.
I never wanted to stop saying "I love you" for fear it would be the last.

Fall About Color

"Fall About Color"
says the identifying sticker: "Colors to
wow right now," its slogan, stuck in the midst
of "Viola" blossoms, masses of furry white
and purple faces, nestling in heart-shaped leaves;
a few buds, all anticipation and longing, ready
to propel into bloom any minute now, Ready or Not
in their bowl outside my door, more shade than
sun for their fragility. Water us, they synch,
and we'll reward you richly. And so I do--
in to the kitchen for a drench from the sprayer
snake, where to my surprise, a small green
frog leaps out from his homestead in the moist
black earth and the colorful roof that hides
him. He spreads out flat on the counter top
as frogs are prone to do, and when I coax
his return to the pot, he jumps atop
the kitchen clock and waits there, expectant
until I catch him, carefully in a cloth,
shake him free outside my door. I say to his
departing back, "I would never harm you,
because you're my baby." He
shadows me, he's been here before.
He's been in evidence at a former residence.
He's perched on a ledge of my screened-
in porch, placed himself perilously
on a door-side vase. He's
signed my name on the sacred plane.
He's my sign of signs, my medium
to the stars who is anything but small.
It's my call. In my mind he's all
in his emerald incarnation.

A Win Is a Win At Bjo 2015

A tribute to 2015 GU13 British Junior Squash Open 3-9th January

The 2015 edition of the prestigious British Junior Squash Open was unusual...
The timing of the championship was in early January, that was the usual....

The quality of play in each of the age-group events was very much in evidence..
It was after all, a premier junior squash championship, awarded Platinum status..

I guessed many a squash enthusiast would have seen, heard or at least read..
About a Malaysian player named Jessica, there she played and how she fared...

She performed very well, winnning in every one of her squash games...
Especially in the semifinals when a highly seeded Egyptian player she did tame...

With a straight 3-0 win, avenging a heartbreaking loss the previous year..
Sweet revenge it was, a very good win to cheer and to hold dear...

In the final the next day, another Egyptian player she has to face...
The opponent was the top seed in this event, she played at a frantic pace..

Jessica did exceptionally well, taking the 1st set easily and setting the pace..
The 2nd set was a thrilling nail-biter, going dueced but Jessica lost her pace....

Jessica next lost the 3rd set too, and then came high drama in the 4th set..
Leading 10-7, the inrushing Egyptian player should have called for a let...

She was but one point away for a win, for squash glory and the ensuing fame..
But in her haste to win, she barged into Jessica so hard that the latter fell...

Jessica was prone on the floor, grimaced in pain and her playing hand was lame..
The tournament referee and officials, they deliberated awhile, then proclaimed...

Jessica is the deserving winner! Loud were the protests after this claim...
That, people, is how the Malaysian won her 1st British Junior Open and found fame....

Him of Praise

HIM of Praise
HIM of Praise

CharlaXFabels

1one70four4
 life; broken
used unwashed homeless tired sad hurt questing for an answer, yes it is HIM
who loves me JESUS. The answer to every question. ABOVE every other namme
the HIM who seems so far away and yet eye find the love is still in evidence the
richness in the finding. Love is given never taken the takers and the shakers
come to HIM and get dumbfounded, the poor questors will still receive
communion. Live is a mobius stripped not the start of the cradle to the grave
sinfilled natural disaster somewhere in my timeline lies uninterrupted salvation.
HIM who loved me also called me to tell his people of HIS namme. HIM who
loves ewe also needs ewe to call on HIM in fear and trembling YES and then to
drop the fear of days gone bye and love HIM for YES HE loves. HIM who writes the
names in BOOK of LIFE loves all of us the namme of JESUS the namme the
namme is JESUS. HE who brings us life also brings us days then HE adds them
to our lives. JESUS. HIM of Praise.

Premium Member Forest Fire

Severe disaster brought
Ruination and disruptive vegetation.
A scorching breeze increased devastation,
From unscrupulous persons unknown:
Hidden fierce fire
That spread rapidly.
A hush,
For no life could be in evidence,
Except for stouthearted firefighters
Risking their cherished lives.
A wild dry wind swirled suddenly.
Smoke became untamed,
An aching purgatory
No ocean can purge.
The fiery cloud
Covered the forest green;
Moonlight snuffed out,
Concealed, tormented,
A message of ill will,
As children cried and gasped,
Families were reduced homeless,
In hurry to elope from the tragedy.
Helpless animals unable to escape died.
A taste of vandalism,
Or terrorism?
Or man made climate change?
