Premium Member Some Rain Must Fall Upon Every Roof

When life gives a choice don't ask why
Don't dwell in dark under a star-lit sky
If music starts playing go find your voice
Don't ask why when life gives a choice

Every life will smile bearing a gift of joy
Echoing sounds of a harmonious ploy
Spreading cheer, donning perky style
Bearing a gift of joy every life will smile

In times of despair, know there's hope
Happiness resides in everyone's scope
Blessings embody within every prayer
Know there's hope in times of despair

Upon every roof some rain must fall
Life once in a while answers your call
When love finds us, that is one proof
Some rain must fall upon every roof

Premium Member Update and Poem, To Be More

Yesterday Richard inspired me to write this update. Thank you Richard.

To Be More

3 days of this virus, feels like 3 weeks
Every hour a battle, as minutes flit by
Extreme cycles of hot and cold, ongoing
Losing track of a neutral temperature
Headaches, nausea and chest pain
But mainly the tiredness and exhaustion
Doing minimal things can wipe you out
It feels like it's an effort to think, to breathe
Energy you may use to bring in loads of wood,
It can take that much, to write something like this
Thankfully, I only lost all my breath once
Having to sit down a while to get air back again
But doctors who call daily are still concerned,
I may need more later, so they prescribe inhaler
I am seperate some from my pets I love most
As I try to keep taking care of them in ways advised,
Wearing a mask, washing hands, some distancing
They don't understand and that breaks my heart
But, I am making it and they are making it
Every hour, I think, I survived another hour
I have had serious health issues in the past
But, this is certainly different and my body is at war
A constant cycle of juice, water, vitamins, food, tylenol
Filling my body with all I can to fight and survive this
Because, here, there is no treatment and it's up to me
It is a roller coaster, just after a lift, there is a fall again
Sometimes I feel like I'm dying when crashes happen
But, I am winning!
I won, the prize of seeing a beautiful sunrise this morning
And hearing multiple birds sing happily outside in my yard
I am winning every time this thing knocks me down and I get back up!
Driven to do more, write more, reach more, be more!

Thank you all

In addition, with only using internet from data on cell phone and losing a signal, it gets difficult getting things into soup, without having to enter it multiple times. So for now, that is in my way too. Take care everyone :)

My Age

MY AGE

My age is nothing but a number, nothing but a slumber that I can’t wake from, this is what I’ve done. I’ve looked around and found that the matter of the fact is life isn’t what it’s supposed to be for me.

The average teenager spends most of their lifetime looking at their phones and when it’s time to learn something new their minds have already grown. Absorbing every single thing that they are sold, having a twelve year old’s body and the mind of a twenty one year old.

Social media doesn’t help the situation, it only changes how the different problems are situated. It has stolen complete sentences and created abbreviations, shortcuts of a language used by my generation. You could be laughing out loud when in reality you’re crying, saying TBH to be honest when in actual fact you’re actually lying.
And to that you can’t say anything because if LIFE was abbreviated it would stand for Living In Fear of Everything.

This is what I go through, in addition the music industry has had a major breakthrough. It has managed to be more influential promoting sex, drugs and slurs that are racial. “Making money moves” is about dancing on a pole, “Smoke weed everyday” is the daily intake of dope and this is said all while mentioning the one African American slave term that we all know. My nig-...I can’t say it though. So why do you. You have no idea who that affects. Sometimes we need to learn to be more politically correct.

They say that euphoria is just around the corner, behind the school building in a midst of vape. These are the lies they create, saying everything is ok. Just inhale it once and you’ll be done. I’m sorry, you can call me a loner but don’t mistake me for a stoner. One shot, two shots, three shots, four, hard. Call me antisocial but I’ve never drank before and I’m not about to start.

Society is full of influences, temptations and choices. However people like me always end up being voiceless. They think we’re too young to have any serious issues, that’s just another excuse for not wanting to accept the truth. You choose to change the subject to something totally unrelated, “We don’t have many problems?” well isn’t that an understatement?

You say that it will change, you say it’s just a phase, you say it’s another page in my story, no, this stage, right here...

This is MY AGE!

THE BATTLE OF THERMOPYLAE - A SPARTAN DEATH WISH - 480 BC

300 Spartans or hoplites , the truly heroic
The loyal and totally patriotic,
Were ordered to fight to the death,
And To their very last breathe!
King Leonidas had to stop the Persian
Army and King Xerxes from capitulating
Athens, but these 300 strong
Were hopelessly outmatched, so wrong.
In addition, a traitor was lurking around,
Ephialtes knew he could find common ground
With Persia’s King Xerxes, Ephialtes wanted money
King Xerxes a conclusive win, a thought that wasn’t sunny!
Ephialtes, a Judas, told the Persians about the pass
To go around the mountain and surprise
The Greeks from the back.
Ephalites led them for he had the knack!
King Xerxes sent his 10000 “immortals” on this mission,
Xerxes himself put this mission into commission!
Puzzling however, is that King Leonidas knew,
The Persians were coming, yet ordered the hoplites to stay,
And the supporting army to go away,
Was this a deliberate act of self sacrifice, for an oracle
Appeared, which confirmed that should King Leonidas die,
And his honest, loyal soul soar to the sky,
Sparta would not be destroyed, and another interpretation
Was that King Leonidas wanted to give them time to escape,
Which they did. The 300 Spartans left fought
Bravely until each one dropped and they became naught!
And what happened to our notorious,
Traitor, Ephialtes – in Greek his name
Means nightmare,
Welcome nowhere, surely that’s fair!
The Battle of Thermopylae, the bravery of King Leonidas
Together with his 300, brave, strong and determined
Hoplites have contributed to a beautiful and rich history,
But the mystery
Remains, why did they choose to stay and die, instead of
Getting up to leave,
Abandoning families that would surely grieve.
The battle of Thermopylae took place in August 480 BC,
A great historical era, to which only the Spartans had the key!

Premium Member Letter To My Dogs

(Even If You Are A Cat Person This Applies To You)

Dear Dogs,
When I say to move it means go someplace else, not switch positions with each other so there are still two dogs in the way.
The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food.
The other dishes are mine and contain my food.
Please note placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and my food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.
The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a race track.
Beating me to the bottom is not the object.
Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.
I cannot buy anything bigger than a king size bed.
I'm very sorry about this but do not think that I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your comfort.
Look at videos of dogs sleeping. They can actually curl up into a ball.
It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out with tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing but doggie sarcasm.
My compact discs are not miniature frisbees.
For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom.
If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut it is not necessary to claw, whine, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open.
I must exit through the same door I entered.
In addition, I have been using bathrooms for years;
canine attendance is not mandatory.
Lastly, the proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dogs butt.
I cannot stress this enough.
It would be such a simple change for you.
With Love,
            Mom

A Short Session

My mind
unstable foundation.

They keep talking,
through dreams, comes communication.

A combination,
another citation
never any satisfaction
(Look over here, another distraction)

Formation into another illustration
division by another diversion.

So, what version can take me out of isolation?
(Wait, murder? I thought this was multiplication.)

How many live there now? I need some information.
Because if this conversation involves a congregation
then call for an assembly, it’s time for orientation.

How many are there? I think this is beyond regulation.

It’s time for a confession!
(Why? There has been no violation.)

The situation may be a possession
But I do not have the protection of religion.

Nothing in moderation
We do not need validation from an administration.
The revelation has been in question.

Objection! This is all just speculation.
I’m getting a suspicion that there have been signs of manipulation.
There are signs of depression and in addition
I would like to draw your attention to the blatant exaggeration
and ask for your cooperation
So, we can move past the persecution
to focus on the solution.

The verdict is in!
What is the conclusion?

To Be Continued...

Bonnie and Clyde

They were bank robbers and their names were Bonnie and Clyde.
They robbed banks in six states until 1934 when they both died.
In addition to robbing banks, they also robbed stores and service stations.
They killed thirteen people, they were dangerous and caused devastation.
In 1933 the dangerous duo teamed up with Clyde's Sister-In-Law and her husband, Buck.
Clyde's brother was killed four months later and Bonnie and Clyde soon ran out of luck.
The next year they were driving on a road in Louisiana and they didn't know they were in danger.
They were ambushed and killed by a posse that was lead by a Texas Ranger.
The posse fired one hundred and sixty-seven rounds and Bonnie and Clyde were hit fifty times.
They were deadly murderers and thieves but they ended up paying for their dastardly crimes.

(This is a true story about Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker who were killed on May 23, 1934.)

Premium Member You Echoed My Voice

Look to the sky to witness morning glory
As rising vision writes an amorous story
Painting cosmic canvas delightfully spry
To witness morning glory, look to the sky

Listen to the birds for message they heard
As the horizon lit-up when emotions stirred
Blowing cheery winds chanting your words
For message they heard, listen to the birds

Every day goes by without you by my side
Waiting to decide, I see you teary eyed
Trust the answer you have, don't ask why
Without you by my side, every day goes by

Heeding my advice you echoed my voice
Leaning on destiny you made your choice
Trusting my friendship won't exact a price
You echoed my voice, heeding my advice

Happiness

HAPINESS

HAPPINESS is when you and I, are not STRESS
HAPPINESS is when we are feeling and experiencing being BLISS and BLESS
and, moreover, HAPPINESS, is when we are HIGH ABOVE with much, much LOVE and not with LESS, or a MESS.
In addition, HAPPINESS is when we are HAPPY and not SNAPPY; furthermore, HAPPINESS is when the HEART is feeling STRONGER and FONDER with the real BEAUTIFUL and VITAL THINGS and BEINGS of LIFE without the GRIEF and the STRIFE.
As a matter of fact, HAPPINESS is when you and I, are FREE with lots of JUBILEE mentally and spiritually; also when we have RISE above the NEGATIVE THINGS of LIFE through WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE and with the infinite UNDERSTANDING of the MOST HIGH, LOVE, GOD and our CREATOR, LOVE HIMSELF, through POSITIVITY and MORALITY.
Above all and overall, true HAPPINESS, is when you, me and or the whole wide world, have opened up our EYES and MINDS; or our HEARTS to the SPIRITUAL THINGS in LIFE that money cannot buy; that we cannot SELL for any PRICE. In a nutshell, HAPPINESS is a GIFT from GOD, and not only that, but that it is a GIFT that is PRICELESS, and not TASTELESS; nor ENDLESS. Shalom and be happy. poem written by. (Crystal) Yehuwdiyth Y. Yisrael

Describe Him

His Feet are kind of rough and a tad bit sore
Been standing on God’s promises since his feet hit the floor
His Knees are worn out but he stands really tall
But Daily prayer is needed winter, summer, spring, and fall
His Chest sticks out , seeming really proud.
But I can tell that he’s humble and never has to speak loud
His Arms so strong, no signs of weakness, not even a trace
I can imagine how secure I would be, wrapped in his embrace
His Hands not so soft from laboring on his land
You can just tell he has a tight grip on to God’s unchanging hand
His Eyes are so beautiful and always towards the sky
Always doing more than expected not just enough to get by
In addition to all of the magnifying traits, he has another that electrifies your soul.
An enormous, spectacular HEART all made of Gold.

Premium Member Mythmakers Often Miss the Stop

Each moment arrives
already threaded—
camels crossing through narrowed eyes,
yesterday's needles.
I see the burden in your face when I get here,
but it’s not your face;
rather a ripple of something older,
residue caught in the glass
nothing but an echo of now. Do you see that?
A life lived sideways,
pressed into the sand.

My bus driver is Atlas today,
holding a world hostage
until I meet his raised eyebrows
with an acknowledgment,
in addition to the usual fare.
The woman on the corner is Circe,
turning glances to granite,
spinning myths into tricks—
even the barista, bean-stained hands,
shifts like Persephone, balancing
her sweet against the darkness.

What is our world if not echoes
refracted, meals consumed after death?
What is real except an insurrection
of stories, clawing at the edges of us,
our susceptible flesh, infected with personality?

These vaunted archetypes,
they hide the hollows in our marrow,
make us no match
for the maps we mistake
for ourselves. You tilt your head,
you ask me what I see. I see, I say,
I have seen, the echoes came first—

shadows carved on walls long
before the names, long before the bodies.

Go ahead, laugh—step into the light.
But remember it moves faster than you
think, burns brighter than you see, and always
drags its shadow behind.

Premium Member When I Get Home

I have a home that is actually a mansion I have yet to live in.
It's one that my father built, and it awaits my arrival to move in.
I have many brothers and sisters for whom he has also built a mansion.
I do not worry or doubt about its existence because my father gave his word.
Moreover, in addition, father had it recorded in a book for all the world to see.
For some, home is where their story begins; my mansion story will never end.

Set Eyes On God To Succeed

Your best investment lies in God’s hands
Which guarantee life, love and boundless care
Regardless of kinds and types of lands
Which your feet dare to walk without forking out any fare

In kind or slush cash
Men and women whose whims
Reduced at death to mere ash
In their temperamental and sentimental teams

Depending on their tricks or moods
Choose to dole out
In their woods
Filled with mood swing and doubt

Until to the core of your mind
Comes the realization
That in men and women
Lies neither your salvation mission nor determination

To bring to fruition the destiny
God in his purpose
Chose not in your mutiny or calumny
But from his original source

Because in the end only God has the wherewithal
To anticipate, explicate, facilitate, replicate success in your every need
Without under fire a retreat tactical or strategic withdrawal
To ensure that your dreams, missions, portions and options succeed

In addition, God loves you too much
To let you continue to fail
Within every critical touch or dream bunch
In your heart, your home or in your self-inflicted jail.

Premium Member More Crazy By the Day

Just when you think it has gotten bad,
More crazy things happen that make me sad
Now, they complain about Rudolph the red nosed reindeer
Because of the bullying in the show that they fear

In addition to that, another complaint has come in
About ‘In God We Trust’ on the Army’s dog tags, as if a sin
Since Washington, this has been allowed to be
And as far as Rudolph, since I was born I’ve been able to see

But, these are the things happening in our country now
And we have to find ways to fight all of this somehow!
