Best Hook Up With Poems

Lazy Afternoon

There is no space between the
horizon and the ocean
Birds follow boats in a lazy
circular motion
It is a lazy hazy Saturday
afternoon
Topped by a peeping
premature quarter moon

Idle fishermen sit and curse
their fate
The striper run is getting
precariously late
Boats chug back and forth in
search of signs
Willing fish to hook up with
trawling lines

Premium Member 'if You Don'T Have Love'

If doubt becomes your best friend
Try and hook up with hope
You will see a faint light
Even if darkness surrounds you

Do not listen to the "she said this and he said that"
They are all out to steal your joy
If you love you
And you have one person that loves you back
All the negativity
Gets drowned in that love
Because if you don’t have love
You have nothing
But guess what

God loves you
You have something
No judgment
Just his love
You are sorted; so go in hope
Even if you can’t see
He is already there

Premium Member Oz: the Untold Story-Collaboration

Dorothy and Toto went skipping
the Yellow Brick Road(she was tripping).
She had just smoked a joint--
getting high was the point--
and now she was bent on some stripping.

She thought that old scarecrow looked easy
(he'd be a good score easy-peasy).
She tripped on her slippers,
her gingham went rippers,
the scarecrow asked, “Up for a threesy?”

Now Dorothy said, “You've got nerve.
My dog is off limits, you perv!
Plus you see I'm a mess
with torn gingham, no less.
I don't seem to have the same verve.”

She managed to rise from the bricks.
Oh great, she thought. Lost in the sticks!
And her new ruby pumps
had just taken some lumps.
I hope Oz does a **** shoe fix.

“I've got a head bump from the twister,
so keep a good distance there, Mister.
My Toto's a killer,
he bite off your tiller
and all you'll have left is a blister.”

 Dale Gregory Cozart

"They got it wrong", tin man said with a sigh
"Ten should be spelled with and e, not an I,"
"So here's a new plan,"
"Hook up with Ten man"
"On my bucket list you're very high!"

Pat Adams

Poor tin man’s willy was rusty
When aroused he’s feeling quite lusty
Dot gives him a greasing
His passion’s unceasing
Especially as Dot is so busty

Virtual Relationships

Don’t hook up with a ‘girl’ from a chat room
Might have five children and even grandchildren…
Wearing long beard and smoke-filled pajamas
Cussing like sailor and farting like donkey.

Dog's Life?

Never do I sit in thought, of why my life's a mess,
You have no life dear masters, that's something I must profess.

I'm never stuck for what to wear, I have one and only coat,
No jeans, no sweater or dresses, not even a little tote.

Never do I need direction, in education or career,
I sit around by the fireplace, with my floppy ears.

Contraception is never a necessity when I ‘hook up’ with a mate,
There’s no tortured analysis of last night’s disastrous date.

Though life's not always roses, danger, dog-pound, strife,
I'll consider myself lucky to cross the road with my life.

I might get a little frisky, produce puppies here and there,
But the vet's knife will stop my fun - Don't think that's very fair!

If I ever bite or nip you, I won't exactly be your favourite pet,
I could be going for an eternal sleep, back to that fun-stopping vet.

So do I really have 'The Dog's Life?' I'll leave it for you to decide,
Luxury or Jeopardy? Would you like my life? Or would Woe betide?

Street Life

twinkle twinkle little star she had a dream that went too far.all she wanted ws to be loved, all
she wanted was to be wanted.all she wanted was to be acknowledged.
from a child to a woman overnight express.what harm came her way with a simple hello.at 16
she lived on skid row, getting introduced to being a street ho.pimps galore, beatings
somemore, late night running from the cops.from car to car she hops, without a conscience
she trotts around the corner bend.standing tall one minute the next beat to the ground.
18 she thought she was on top of her game until she met "mr.cocaine in the brain".she tried
it once and immediatly got hooked sniffing lines while she got booked.mr.cocaine became her
only friend stuck with till that very end.
21 she thought she was done but had only begun.working all day into the night parting
straight into the morning.eventually becoming a cocaine feen.sometimes she'd hook up with a
guy or two,but by doing it for free made her unhappy.
30 she graduated to smoking crack, fighting with her man,ib the hospital with a broken
back.little girl lost no longer a kid by 31 she was doing a federal bid.from skid row to park row
she only moved downtown, her life seemed over until god came azround.
with little hope and love and blind faith to match,a new and honest life was a dream she
could catch.

Pygmalion

As an aperitif to understand the essence of thought
Blood of a young tortoise touched my lips
Seldom as it is - pure ichor – I whisper’d in a trot
Let me get drunk on it while deifying the lunar eclipse
That is what I deserve, that is what I ought.

Is loneliness a hook up with the animalistic self?
Wearing an anorak to withstand the wind of banality
In the midst of a blizzard of an entrenched life
Giving the advantage to the senses of vitality,
Not more than Dido ripping her heart with a knife.

Give me the rise of an insurrection I dreamt about as a boy
A rebellion that would let principles be a judge,
This would surely deliver the desire for joy,
Or an uprising of the loyalists that won’t fudge
But will steer clear off temptations or a ploy.
As a grey fakir I paint a picture into a smudge,
Away from an aureate garden of gild
Into a desolate dryness of a scorch’d land
With my sole soul strongly willed
And a single stroke of my angry hand.

I wished to give tonality in sound and in colour
While being smitten by the freshly cut grass
All the riches will never appease the dolour
As I stand next to a window made of the Venetian glass.

Here I am, in justice I fall
Being accused of playing Pygmalion
Exalted to the throne of Gaslight and all
Given the heart on the platter as a medallion
Draining an amassment of turbulence
From the cluster of words that smack the gob
And remain in our ears as stubborn permanence
And I run, and run, and run, non-stop.

Sword of Betrayal

This movie I once watched
About a betraying spouse
and a betraying friend.

She had a friend
her best friend.
Together they've been- 10years
sleeping, dining together- 10years
So happy her friend is
getting married
her best friend will soon
hook up with her dream man
she even bought the bed
dressed the room
her friend's matrimonial bed.

So shocked was she on
the D-day
At the altar stood her spouse
and her best friend
the world ceased for a while
the sword of betrayal has just
struck her deep in the heart

And I really felt her pains
touched was I as I watched.

Never knew I was watching
A future scene of my life.

Into the Hive

A meeting of the quorum
We’re takin’ this place by storm
Got to get back to the farm
By hook or by crook

We’re young, free and insane
Clothes all creased and stained
Our attitudes inane
And we don’t read books

Into the hive we go
And that’s where we’ll stay
Got a feeling we’re gonna
Get something done today

You wave this and I’ll wave that
Complain at the drop of a hat
Think I saw a diplomat –
Let’s follow his car

Hey, got any Depressions or wars?
Like the people who came before
Need to hook up with some righteous cause
To know who we are

So into the hive we go
And that’s where we’ll stay
Got a feeling we’re gonna
Get something done today

A moment right now is at hand
What it means, we don’t understand
Maybe let’s invite the whole band
Play songs by Free

Image is everything
It’s better than any brass ring
So plan our unmasking
On MSNBC

And into the hive we will go…

Web Surfing

In any direction, the surfer can go.
There’s so much to learn, so much to know.
The problem is only there’s too much out there,
confusing the surfer. So surfer beware!

You can do Yahoo or even Netscape.
But, if you’re on dial-up, you’ll just have to wait!
You can view pictures, a great thing to do,
but if they’re x rated, the gov’ment sees you.

Entering chat rooms is now all the rage,
but it shouldn’t be done by those underage.
Looking for family is now oh so easy,
but staring too long can make you feel queasy.

In fact, there is a site where poems can be read
to the middle of the night when you should be in bed.
You can even get weather forecasts, for you to use,
so you can take a vacation and not sing the blues.

If you want directions and need them real fast
then surf right on over to MSN Mapblast.
You can pay your bills, for those of you who have money.
Don’t laugh at that line, do you think it was funny?

Before you buy your next car, no showroom, you’ll need.
Just access their website, no dealer to see.
There’s even houses out there, when you wish to buy,
but some of the prices will just make you cry.

There’s even dating services, um, I think that there are.
Be careful whom you hook up with, you might travel far.
There’s so much for the average surfer to do,
But I’m signing off now, I think you should, too.

My Heart

My Heart

Without you,
I’m was just like any other girl in
The street trying to find the best
Nigga to hook up with
But you saw me when I was
Walking down the street hopeless
Saying that I will never find a man
To love and to love me
But you called me and told me how pretty I was
I couldn’t believe you
I thought you were just trying to hit it and go
But you proved me wrong
You show me what a real man you were
Now I find a man and it’s you
I hope you don’t go and break my heart
Because it’s the only thing I have left
And I give it to you
So please take good care of it

Being Kind

Being kind
 it doses not happen
 all the time
people are always in such a rush
it really hard to keep in touch
it seems familys are drifting away
 that darn computer seem
to be getting in people way
 no time for table talk
or to hook up with family
or friends to take time together
 for a long evening walk

being kind has been
in the Bible, don't you see
 not only to our animals
and the homeless and the little children,
 parents who we just cant
forgive for something in your pass
 who really cares
for give and for get don't
 let anger last,

being kind to all man kind
it how it suppose to be
 ok let see
 who do you know
that you cant seem to forgive
 come on
 call them
 just for once --

Premium Member A World Without You

Without you there would be no dirty hoes or moldy dishes
I'd hook up with a wild one in less than a New York minute~
Every night I'd go out hungry sharking with the guys
circling around neon boobs until it was closing time~
Fishing and all night poker games would be the norm
sure would beat listening all night to an ogress' snore~
and I wouldn't have to always be the perfect gentleman
I could proudly pick my nose and break the sweetest wind~
and never again would I fall victim to a case of deep blue balls
I'd be notching headboards and knocking pictures off the wall~
but then again nobody else but you has always had my back
so I'll stick it out until my heart leaves no more tracks~

Leting Go

Letting Go

Holding on to everything that come your way.
Well I’m bringing you a message on this blessed day.
Hurt, rejection or jealousy whatever is holding you back. Let Go and start fighting
back.
Let Go of all the past get rid of its fast.
Start living for today, let God usher you his way.
Wasting precious time and effort seeking things that can’t prosper you. Are you
without a case?
Who want to go back anyway? For the promises of God is ahead.
You have something you didn’t know you had, you have a promise given from our
Father, so don’t bother to hang on to anything that’s not of him, it just won’t work.
So stop hanging to binders and hook up with finders and seekers. Seeking God
and looking forward to his promises. Letting God lead the way this day and all
the days to come, for Christ is calling us one by one.

Premium Member I'm Good

I'm happy with my brain
Don't need to hook-up with ai
Don't need to feed the profits
Of experimental human control

Let the cool kids with glow-worm
Smiles pirouette the possibilities

Of trans-human cages of our minds
Promising the new god
I'm good with the God I got now!

Only His Will is the path I follow
So let them dance on my TV screen

With celebrity endorsements
Forcing compliance with zero alternatives

Denying access without their
Definition of enlightenment

My glow comes from God

                     I'm

                            Good
