All I Have To Do Is Dream
Night or day
Dreamin' life away

Do You Want To Dance
Under the moonlight
through the night

Who's Sorry Now
Sad and blue
Cried over you

Poor Little Fool
Lied to me
Won her victory

Book Of Love
Meaning of romance
One more chance

My True Love
Send a love
From heaven above

Endless Sleep
To the shore
Gone forever more

Twilight Time
Days of old
With dreams untold

Volare
Beginning to fly
in endless sky

Oh Julie
Don't deceive me
Love me truly

Premium Member When It Hits the Fan Remember

Sometimes stuff happens,
Sometimes caused by fears,
Sometimes by mistakes we make,
That put us in arrears.

No matter what caused it,
No matter who,
Pointing fingers won't help things,
Get better for you.

It won't help to argue,
And fuss and fight,
To lay blame on others,
Won't make things right.

We may lose some sleep,
And we may shed some tears,
But sometimes stuff happens,
And just seems to smear;

And all the precautions,
You take just don't matter,
'Cause sometimes stuff happens,
And just seems to splatter.

When Reality Hits

I don't know why I don't show my feelings
Sometimes i wonder if i have them anymore
Or am i just trying to even out the score
People treated me like nothing for so long
I am just trying to show them how it feels
To be broken for so long but still be afraid to admit it
To tell your self to suck it up because no one will ever get it
To cry behind close doors because if you did it in public you would be called weak
To be so terrified of people
So you skip school for weeks
Because you felt like you had no friends or no who could relate
So you shove pills down your throat because you had no more faith
Then to hold you wrist up and slice
but the pain you feel could not be refilled by a knife
To just give up on life
But worst of all to not have a clue about what you going through
To just think your crazy or different
To not know your suffering from depression
Then it turns in to aggression
And you get mad at the people around you
Because you felt like they are the ones that cause it
maybe they could of did a little bit more
cared or pay a little bit more attention
instead of thinking i was just being a normal teen
Thinking that you were just skipping school drinking alcohol and smoking weed
To not actually ask question just make up assumptions
To be crying and begging for help
and still remain help less
And that would be the best punishment of all
To match their pain with your
But you should never let you pride be to big and shallow to ask for help
But when reality hit when i when to the mental hospital and realized that i wasn't the only one going through thiis
That people could relate
And that it wasn't health to be filled with so much hate
So i changed my mind state
And learned to forgive
And when people saw me start to change i was forgiven
But i was stuck with one decision
Should i hold on to the past or forget and keep on living
Because the only thing worst that dying is realizing that you haven't lived
And i finally made my decision ... I wanted to live

Hits and Misses

7/4/16

Got to take care of business
From the start to the finish

Hits and misses
Above below and on the ridges

An unbelievable amount are religious
And superstitious

How much evidence and material lies among the fishes
And in some of the harshest conditions?
It piques curiosity and is rather suspicious

On the road to riches
Wishes
Shall be fulfilled by determination and wise decisions

During the entire expedition
You'd better pay attention and listen
Especially to what's important, if you want more wisdom

Learn from your mistakes, and understand the diffference
While still in existence

Don't burn your bridges
And act malicious
Because of your own greed and being way too ambitious

Out in the thickets
There isn't always crickets
(It can be completly quiet and silent, except for the crickets)

Always liked the look and scent of eucalyptus
And the same could be said for so many things, including hibiscus

Bless you this upcoming Christmas
Never once and until the end, I can not expect forgiveness

Anywhere especially due to different cultures and traditions
In my own personal opinion

A Heat Wave Hits the North

Heat Wave Hits the North

By Elton Camp

Heat makes the Yankees scream and shout
But they don’t know what weather’s about

For those people, who in the South reside
It can be unpleasantly hot and humid outside

But that’s the reason air conditioning is made
It’s not enough to sip mint julep in the shade

But in winter when Yankees slip and slide
Our weather is often still pleasant outside

So a northern heat wave makes me sneer
Just wait—they have even worse to fear

Living in the North is a terrible plight
On balance, our weather is a delight

So, before a fan you Yankees must sit
Wait to see how hot it’s gonna get

Premium Member Henpecked Harold Hits Back

Doreen acted like the brain of Britain
Answering questions on the TV quiz show
She would sit and shout out the answers
Her face would have a smug rosy glow

Her poor husband Harold could do nothing right
She would moan at him all night and day
Belittling him with her intelligent quips
‘Yes you’re right dear ‘was all Harold could say

Doreen decided she had such a high IQ
That she should get it tested
So she applied to join Mensa
So her intelligence could be attested

She told all her neighbours of her plans
They secretly stifled their yawn
For Doreen was always quoting new facts
She bored them from dusk until dawn

Harold drove her to where the test was being held
But five minutes later she suddenly appeared
Her face was like thunder, she screamed and she yelled
Had her results been worse than she’d feared

Sadly Doreen had not even got through the door
To her chagrin she’d gone on the wrong day
For someone so intelligent… she now looked a fool
You stupid cow was all that Harold could say.

Harold drove home and quickly packed his bags
He said he was going to stay with his mother
For he knew if he’d stayed in the house that night
His overbearing wife he’d be tempted to smother!

Santa Hits The Snooze Button
(For Christmas Cheer contest)

Santa woke up feeling fruity
The Mrs was spark out
He grinned cos in a minute
His Rudolph clock would shout

Whinny, whinny, moo, quack
Whinny, whinny, neigh
(How’s a poet sposed to know
What Reindeer clocks might say)

Even though his wife nowadays
Is lamb dressed up as mutton
He sees her how she used to be
So wallops that snooze button

So Santa’s got ten minutes
For undercover fun
Please excuse the metaphor...
He’s got a loaded gun

We’ve got a spare ten minutes
Come take your man to heaven
Well what we gonna do she said
With the other seven

Santa Hits The Snooze Button

Santa went out last night dressed as mutton
drinking too much at the costume party.
Being a glutton woke up with a hearty
hangover.

He turned over
and hit the snooze button one more time.
Mrs. Santa gave him a cup of lime,
tomato juice, and beer to get over
the hangover.

Wake up. Wake up. Please wake up.

I can't. I stayed out too late with Buttercup.
I ate and drank until it I tossed up
all of my cookies and liquor sup.

Santa! Wake up. Please wake up
before the morn and children wake up.

Rudolph battery is running low
before it goes while it still glows
you need to deliver all the children's toys.
You're going to ruin the joy of the girls and boys.

Premium Member Once It Hits You

Like many other viruses, they came and they went
But this one is different on so many levels
It mutates, it breeds amidst cultural surrounds
Spreading like wildfire infused in it's revel

Once it hits you, there's simply no turning back
For it's not from this Planet we've now been informed
If you recall the lights in your skies that night
It wasn't just the weather that came with the storm

It wasn't evident when at first we became ill
Rocketing fevers, throbbing's in our heads
Which was only the start for death was to fulfil
It's tearful seeing populations in waiting dread

After a few weeks we thought we're on the turn
But inside we were melting, our organs in decline
Gone was that window that we all hoped and yearned
From notes that I'd written, the end of my bloodline.

T Rex Hits the Heights

Was in nineteen sixty seven
That the band tyrannosaurus was founded
Marc Bolan was the instigator,
loud music of T Rex was in our ears, here to stay

Took a while to catch on, in time had the fame
well nearly….. of The Beatles in the UK,
with their ride a White Swan Album

Bolan was a writer
Writer of music, writer of lyrics
Writer of Poetry,
Wrote a poetry book named The Warlock of Love

Was in New Jersey that they took to the skies
In a tyrannosaurus shaped balloon
Their music filled the air.
T Rex hit the heights

As good as they were,
they themselves were inspired
By the music of the Vikings,
that is how Chariot of Love was born

Unfortunately Marc Bolan was killed in a car crash
Just after finishing their final album
He wasn’t yet thirty.
End of an era,
Of Rock disciples, Glam Rock performers.

A Memory Returns As the Dow Hits 20,000

When Fred was a boy, he heard his mother
talk about Grandpa going to town during WWI
to sell the bounty of his harvest.

On his farm he had eggs, butter and milk,
vegetables and meat. He’d buy sugar, coffee,
a few other things he couldn’t grow or raise.

When WWI ended Grandpa lost everything.
He had barns full of grain the government no longer
wanted. They cancelled his contract.

The Depression struck and farmers like Grandpa
were devastated. They lost everything.
A few years later Grandpa died without a cent.

As a boy Fred stood at Grandpa's grave and listened
to his mother talk about the times when Grandpa’s yard
was full of buggies pulled by horses on a Sunday afternoon.

Grandma cooked for hours to feed the families
who came to visit, quite a contrast from the empty yard
after Grandpa lost everything.

Fred thought about Grandpa when the Dow hit 20,000
and investors everywhere were giddy with glee.
But Grandpa’s life taught Fred things go up and down.

When Grandpa had money, everyone wanted to see him.
They pulled up in buggies for a meal on Sunday afternoons.
Then poverty made him a pauper his friends no longer knew.

Premium Member Santa Hits the Snooze Button

That was an extraordinary Christmas for Santa Claus,
his twentyfifth year of wintry journey without any pause.
He decided to make it a special celebration of gifting on his part
to the children adorably unique presents, he’d carry in the cart.

In colorful foils he packed with care the gifts through the night,
loaded them on the sleigh until the dawn’s first sunlight.
As on downy snow-laid track the reindeer led by Rudolf charged,
the chilling wind hit his face, made him aware he was so tired.

He spotted a bench under a tree while crossing the sunny park,
thought he deserved some rest after the night’s hard work.
He knew he would find ahead no other better place to choose,
so, he slumped on the bench, and soon slipped into snooze.

Rudolph heard loud sound, didn't know it was Nick's snoring bout,
got scared of the danger looming large, she had no doubt.
With loaded sleigh the reindeer ran away as fast they could,
leaving tired Santa to enjoy the frozen sleep in the wood.

At sharp sound of cracking trees under the burden of snow,
when he woke up fazed, reality to his senses came a bit slow.
On the trail engraved in snow he ran, caught the fleeing reindeer.
He was sure when he gave the gifts, him the children would endear.
