Best Glisten Poems
Before the river melds itself with sea,
it glistens as a rippling mountain stream
and starts its course with purest quality.
Before the river melds itself with sea,
it runs along, fulfilling destiny.
Our course is also brief; give forth your beam!
Before the river melds itself with sea,
it glistens as a rippling mountain stream.

Two silhouettes together,
Under the light of the moon
The hooting of owls
They are singing a scary tune.
Dark shadows fly past us,
But my arms hold you tight
With thoughts on our love
We lose fear for the night.
The pumpkin that glows,
On the steps by our door
It seems to be smiling
Make me hunger for more.
The moonlight in the sky,
Shines down to the ground
Glistening the leaves
That covers the ground.
Juicy, ripe cherries, still on the jade green trees,
In vibrant, orange sunshine, glinting at summer.
Blackberries winking, saffron noon hour of ease,
When rose strewn seconds, seem lost in slumber.
Fragrant, purple plums gleam hotly, very coveted,
Lustrous, wild raspberries, deeply red and purple,
Ruby red apples aglow, like fiery sun plummeted,
Until all are lost in darkness, 'neath stars eternal.

Why do they glisten so, these pools of light,
my trembling senses lost in ardour sweet?
As stars they sparkle gently in the night
and dance to rhythms of my own heartbeat.
I gaze deep deep into a magic glade
where intertwining lovers each caress,
as silvered waters softly serenade
and sporting moonbeams do the shadows bless.
Soft silken creature of my dearest dreams,
I ache to hold you fast within my arms,
to breathe in scents of paradise. It seems
to die would pay small homage to your charms.
The book of love is filled with many a rhyme,
of lovers' promises and tender sighs,
but few could match this fervent pen of mine,
as, drowning in the lustre of your eyes,
my heart must surely burst asunder,
lost in unfathomable wonder.
Faerie Glisten heard the news of the disaster
She tried to fly their fast, but her sister was faster.
Together they held up lights, trying to save as many as they could.
They stayed out in the water for hours seeing floating pieces of wood.
I think we’ve helped all we can, her sister admitted.
She gave up the search and ran off to get her trousseau outfitted.
Faerie Glisten was not ready to give up quite yet.
Even though her wings were damp, and her gown was wet.
Almost no noise was coming from the water, but she felt a presence.
So, she waited, putting her ears on hyper-alert, ready to help.
“I see a light!” a voice said. She held it up a bit higher.
“It’s a faerie!” the voice said. “We are saved!” She was overjoyed.
Her sister told the story later to whoever would listen.
You should have seen me and my sister Faerie Glisten.
We felt someone was there, so we waited in wet dew,
And guess what? We ended up saving another two.
I love you as I love the sun,
her blinding rays a blessed truth
that blaze o'er hill and meadowland
and sing a song of winsome youth.
Your warmth puts roaring fires to shame,
ignites the flame that inward glows,
it resonates, and sanctifies
my happy heart, the blushing rose.
Your tenderness, so blithe and sweet
entreats, and gently mystifies,
your countenance personifies
the glisten in your soft blue eyes.
May Helios, that wondrous orb,
forever shine, and play her part,
and may compassion ever mark
the fervent beating of your heart!
Drops fall
Gather like Braille
Inside the smooth wall
Unexpected hazel eyes
Striking Light
Lets the darkness rise
Dancing heart
As the rain Glistens
Let it impart
Fill the seven seas
One calm beat at a time
Impressing me
No compass
No Map
Just oneness
dim blue-gray backdrop
dark etched shapes move or stand still
tree branches extend
bend out like roots in the sky
star-like fireflies flit across
6/1/2021
damp morning petals
dew drops hang like charmed bracelets
glist'ning in the sun
tall pines droop, glisten
Sagging under silver snow.
Soft enchanting wood.
I love you as I love the sun,
her blinding rays a blessed truth
that blaze o'er hill and meadow land
and sing a song of winsome youth.
Your warmth puts roaring fires to shame,
ignites the flame that inward glows,
it resonates, and sanctifies
my happy heart, the blushing rose.
Your tenderness, so blithe and sweet
entreats, and gently mystifies,

the glisten in your soft blue eyes.
May Helios, that wondrous orb,
forever shine, and play her part,
and may compassion ever mark
the fervent beating of your heart!
My mind is so
twisted—
I'm physically
twisting.... My spine
like
a
spiral
staircase;
Glistening.
Screaming for help,
But no one
is listening—
'Cause
whenever
they ask,
I'm too busy whispering....

Glisten, begs our soul, it’s dark here
Shed erst cravings savage
Let thunderous bliss, each pore spear
Drop ego spawned baggage
In stillness and silence
Spake voice of innocence
Dwell in luminescence
Listen
Glisten

I know someone, who is always there
The sorrows and victories,I can ,no doubt share.
A bond so deep, strong and precious
One who is regarded, being gracious.
A true friend, a guide,a protector
Paves the path to success, being a rector.
One who encourages, is always ready to sacrifice
His love and affection is vast, never dies.
He is there to cheer up and listen
With my success, his eyes always glisten.
He his benevolent, provides endless guidance
He is empathetic, with inbuilt patience.
To have him,is a divine blessing
My heart beats ,forever to sing
He,who is a hero,a selfless being
He is my Father, for me, he is a King...
