You Don'T Know How Bad It Hurts

You don't know how bad it hurts.

When you keep talking about that.

Do you really know me? Like you say you know know me?

Then if you do, don't do it.

If you know how bad it hurts then don't do it.

You love me? Then stay home don't go.

Don't do it for you may lose me.

I love you, care for you and feel for you.

But I guess you will never know if you go.

You just don't know how bad it hurts.

I guess you will never know.

...I Just Want Your Kiss

--I had a dream and it came true, this is about it--

Deepen your thoughts my love
I give this gift up from above

I think I want you, you know
be mine under mistletoe

I think that I love you.
I hope you love me too-

So meet me in this bliss!
'cause...

Why Don'T We Talk Anymore?

Why don’t we talk anymore? Why isn’t it the way it was before? It’s like we just don’t have
anything to say, and this goes on every single day. This is not what I call being in love with
someone, when you love them you show them that they are your only one. You don’t ignore
them like they’re not even around, and you don’t keep saying mean things to them to bring
their spirits down. We haven’t had a conversation in so very long, I always sit and wonder
where did I go wrong? I don’t see why you don’t talk to me, when I want to spend time with
you all you do is continue being rude to me. I can’t take this pain you’re putting me through,
why don’t we talk anymore? Why can’t I get through to you? Every time I say anything to
you, you make it seem like I’m just making a fool of myself, if I would have known it was
going to be like this, I could have stayed all by myself. I decided to give you chance even
after being hurt so much throughout my life, I had hoped that one day you would have made
me your wife. Obviously that thought is out the door, I just want to know why don’t we talk
anymore?

For the longest time you were just a dream,
A fantasy cast while deep in REM sleep.
I watch as you rest, my new found beauty.
The perfect match, so much more than a creep.
Lone wolf on the prowl till you stepped on the scene,
it's been so long since being swept off my feet.
I cannot tell you that I've fallen in love,
But girl we fit like an Isotoner glove.

So incomplete before you stepped in my life,
no longer the lone wolf, I have found my mate.
Tossing and turning alone late at night,
not sprung yet boo, but I know this is fate.
I'll compromise, to this love I'll comply.
My heart belongs to you, there is no debate.
Only time will tell if we are meant to be,
I am devoted to you with honesty..

I am not that man you have had in the past
I am true to you boo, a faithful man.
The affections I give will forever last.
Our new love has blossomed and I feel grand,
let it develop and not move to fast.
Through tribulation we can both withstand.
Take my hand boo so we can live as one
because I need you, like the earth needs the sun....

Dedicated to Kim....
The one with whom has taken my heart.....

Hyperbolic Romance

.

We've been there, so we understand
      when love-slain pairs
pledge endless, fearless love to which
      nothing compares.
And all that brave, romantic
      exaggeration
that smacks of the lovers' paranoid
      delusion.

Theirs is not a nice lie, only
      a misstatement.
They just can't help but gush with
      much overstatement.
But they're sincere in their starry-eyed
      intention,
while swept away by cloyingly sweet
      emotion.

So when we hear them promise
      to love each other
beyond eternity, till hell freezes
      over,
let's allow them some leeway for such
      hyperbole.
Their words, like ours, are touching,
      but really silly!

I Love You and I'M Willing To Set You Free

Late nights when I can’t sleep
I sit up wondering if our love or what we have is going to last
I love you
But I have some many questions about your love for me
I do everything to make you happy
Even when I’m so sick I don’t even want to get out of bed
I still cook and clean for you
To show you that I Love you
But is what I’m doing going to be good enough
You always talk about your ex you still have some of her things and her pictures on
her cell phone
You say it ant nothing but when I look at you I can see so much more
If you are not ready to be with me and have a relationship
Then all you got to do is tell me
I would understand
Just don’t sit here and lead me
Like your little toy puppet on a string
That you are controlling
I love you
But if I had to set you free for you to be happy
Then I would do so
Cause I do not want you to be with me and be in pain
Cause if you love someone you should set them free
And for you I am willing to do so
Because I love you.

My Stolen Concern

When I open my eyes,
She forces them back shut,
There’s something she hides,
I know naught of what.

My anxiety grows,
My corrupt cognition,
Part of me knows,
This is my attrition.

I’m too scared to think,
Too scared of the possibilities,
That she’s on the brink,
Of revealing her hostilities.

I fear my emotions,
Are misguided at best,
Though she’s gained my devotion,
My heart she has wrest

She only wants power,
Attention from a soul,
Whether it’s something she earned,
Or something she stole.

She’s breaking my heart,
Slowly and surely,
I’m falling apart,
So insecurely.

I love her too much,
I’m becoming dependent,
But love is my crutch,
It’s become too ascendant.

I need my life back,
Regain my control,
To end my life’s wrack,
And regain what she stole.

I Won'T Forget You

Please know i love you,
Please know i'll never forget you.
I do care about you,
I do love you.

Why do you think i'd give up my life for you?
Why do you think i'd wait for you?
Why do you think i always mention you at times?
Its because i love you, and i'll never forget you.

I'm always looking forward to seeing you,
I'm always looking forward to talking to you.
I will never forget you,
But i will always love you.

Sharks of Love

Much is said in cultivation,
Shallow words spent with seed.
Empty vows between the sheets,
‘Of course I love you baby.’
Toxic ailments of assurance,
Commitment breeds dependency.
This sepulchre I designed,
Where walls of doubt incessantly shrink.
A tomb which dims with every glance,
Yet limpidly I sit and think.
Prognostication is a ditch,
Living with Cassandra’s Curse,
To view before events unfurl,
These augurs indisputable.
Predictions based on things I’ve done,
Games I’ve often played and won.
O dilemma, consort of quandary,
Why does ambivalence prevail?
A heart divided cannot love,
Ergo romance is doomed to fail.
‘Tis strange to thirst and then to drown,
Dropped within the sultry water.
Petrified I couldn’t swim,
But in the depths I belong.
A Shark of Love once was I,
Domestic nets now thwart my flow.
That I may roam this ocean free,
And hunt the seas I used to know.

Love Letters

Love letters

Letter by letter this alphabet of tainted love
Word by word I’ve written it with my mouth
Many times each day I say to you how much
That I love and need you in my life
I have proven it with self and soul
Action and deed with sacrifice and trust
So I have to ask myself in truth and pain
Can and should this flame rekindle in my heart?
I see the same needful sparkle in your eyes
But in reality is it simply for me or?
One thing I know for sure, we all make mistakes
And there is no doubt that we love each other
So I sigh and question my flawed judgment
Since the objectivity I once had is now long gone
Do your words have even the slightest
Ring of sincerity or truth?

Lost Cause

Lost Cause

Once again I tread a familiar and tiresome strip of mobius
You are beautiful it is only natural that I seek to love you
There are a great many things about you to be desired
I believe that women are gods’ gift not only to men but to
the world itself
It pains me to the core that your path is one of more pain
and ultimately destruction
When we last spoke you said the words so sweet to my soul;
I love you
The truth is I wanted to believe despite all you ever showed
me was that you were a waste of money and time
We can and will never be anything other than people who
met and briefly walked a short path
Still I pray for your soul and salvation and I hope that you seek
to find yourself
Otherwise such a treasure as you could be are simply just
another lost cause

Race

A love that would have been
He was dark I was light
That’s all they could see

A lower class, a different class
Its just no good to ask
It was all a farce

Blinded by ignorance, rumours
None of them were true
Only was my love for Drew

Friends shunned me
Just when I needed them
Relatives became my enemies

Everyone was told
No one listened to my heart
Only the gossips of the cold

Now I sit, I pity them
In happiness of my love
We’re together now
Me and Drew, alone, above.

Damned Love

Staring hard at what I wish I had
Just one more time
Sucking your body
My teeth in your flesh
Pressing you into me
Our bodies enmeshed
Into a love knot I feel in my mind
Dreaming that reality was not so unkind
I’m a lover, I’m a poet, and a smartass
Don’t you know it
I like my beer and my fun
But my love is forever son
I promise you that
