Best Girl Next Door Poems
This is a song to be sung by a lady so if there's one out there who thinks this worthy, sings and writes music take this and run with it. The only thing I want is the knowledge that someone used it...thanks if anyone can do this:
THE GIRL NEXT DOOR GETS NEXT TO THE BOY NEXT DOOR
I remember when the boy next door first knocked upon my door
I’d seen him washing his ninety-six Chevy two days before
He was shirtless and sweating while wetting down his wheels
And that is when a lady’s desire and lack of better judgment congeals
I think it was blue with writing that read “Body By Design”
I’m talking about the shirt of a man I’d like to make mine
With ripples and his rough spots in all the perfect places
Yet soft enough to hold me and enfold me in his embraces
The boy next door had a two-door Chevy he named “Beth”
He saw me as I walked by in short-shorts and very short of breath
The boy next door was breathtaking with eyes of beautiful blue
Someone who could make this girl next door’s dreams come true
But who, I wondered, was this lady by the name of Beth
Could he have confused the “B” as in boy with an “S” as in Seth?
Yes, that’s the circumstance now I’m sure with certainty
His name is Seth, there is no Beth, and I know that certainly
I remember when the boy next door first knocked upon my door
I’d seen him washing his ninety-six Chevy two days before
He was shirtless and sweating while wetting down his wheels
And that is when a lady’s desire and lack of better judgment congeals
That boy next door went from door to door looking for a kiss
While I waited at my door for the boy next door to come and kiss this miss
Finally we kept kissing and his beauty made my feverish flesh cold
And still gives me chills and thrills while he carries me over the threshold
The boy next door had a two-door Chevy that he named “Beth”
He saw me as I walked by in short-shorts and very short of breath
The boy next door was breathtaking with eyes of beautiful blue
The boy next door who made this girl next door’s dreams come true
And now the boy next door is the boy next door no more
Since that boy next door and I now share the very same front door
The very same…………… front door!

and there she will be,
always the girl next door.
the one who you look forward to be with,
she's always grabbing your attention.
she's always smiling,
you're always thinking of her.
different from the rest,
she's always there for you.
above and past all normal beauty,
irresistable and charming.
pretty and innocence,
giving you a relationship you always wanted.
she's someone that listens,
with no hesitating;
for her times seems to fly by,
wild yet timid ann shy,
she opens up with more meaning.
liek a blossoming flower:
oh! anattrction for and with her beauty,
she lights me up,
like the sun on a new morning clear sky.
an angel like none has ever seen,
a miracle with every turn she has taken.

Free verse
I peek out the window looking for a glimpse
while hiding as I don’t want to be seen
And I fantasize about the girl next door
and I wonder what my actions mean
I sit and dream watching others come and go
all the while sitting in my chair
Though I once had the courage to go speak to her
I’m now afraid and it’s not fair
I have a drink and light a smoke
and watch this girl next door
and I wonder well what could happen if I just said hi
and the answer makes me hide some more
I chastise myself for being weak
as I sit and write out my feelings in prose
When in my mind I’m walking over to her
and introducing myself with a rose
But that’s not what I do as I seldom mingle now
and my neighbors think me a terrible bore
And right they may be and though here I still sit
I dream of talking to the girl next door

They were best friends, so he was kicking himself.
Because although he was the boy next door,
She did not think of him in that way.
Want to spend the night? She asked him.
I have some polka dotted pajamas I want you to see.
He had to decline, knowing he could not bear it.
She was getting more desirable every minute.

Prose Poetry
She's easy on the eyes and easier to adore
She's just the girl next door
Onlookers admire with envy as she seems furthest from dull or a bore
She's just the girl next door
Her voice so soothing like that of an angels that does soar
She's just the girl next door
Before you know it you're shouting for an encore
She's just the girl next door
Curiosity arises as to what her heart sings as she gracefully sways and dances to silence furthermore
She's just the girl next door
She makes it look breezy to overcome life's negative vibrations as she picks herself up off the floor
She's just the girl next door
As balloons with notes attached ascend to heaven for her your heart is secretly tore
She's just the girl next door
Can hear her say upon cooking the most important ingredient is love to pour
She's just the girl next door
She makes everyday look like a fascinating adventure to explore
She's just the girl next door
I'm new to the area maybe she'll give me a tour
I've got to get to know the girl next door

What ever happened to the little girl next door?
I now see she isn't a little girl anymore.
This woman is good enough to make a lion roar.
She has all of her curves in the right places.
She is more valuable than a poker hand with four aces.
What an attractive beauty that looks so fine!
I wonder what it will take to make her mine?

I used to be normal, just a regular kind of guy
then I felt empty inside, with no reason why
I searched near and far, for some answer to know
how come I feel this way, how come so low?
In time, emptiness led to sadness, a fire to burn
a plague called depression, in me, now found its turn
Feelings caused me to be distraught, a daily job I fought
so into my own world I now ran, to take refuge I sought
These feelings of loneliness, can't always escape
they shatter my soul when they escalate
Perhaps this is why, I so need to find
that special one, who is exceptionally kind
How I dreamt of her at every turn
this fantasy alone, to it did I yearn
Until a day came, a day like no other
I saw her next door, I began to shudder
So this girl next door, something about her caught my eye
she was not only my solution, amazingly she lived so nearby
I saw in my heart, this special way she possessed
when I thought of her, I was no longer depressed
That was fourteen year ago, exactly four kids ago today
so I thought to give my wife this gift, in a very special way
A poem from my heart, to this special girl, once next door
who has removed my depression, it exists no more
To my dear wife, how much I owe you on this special day
for all this joy and this happiness in life did I pray
That plague once called depression, has been replaced with four
in whom you know I will forever, forever adore......................

They're right across the street I can see them playing
I can't escape this place it is here I am staying
My executioner sat me next to the window you see
So I could watch my children but they can't see me
The tears are done I'm accepting my fate
There will be no more goodbyes for that it is too late
I've been here so long it's hard to remember
The love I received from my family so tender
But time has passed and they have moved on
They have no idea I'm not really gone
I watch them come and go every day
At least I'm still alive to see them that way
Only a few days 'til the deed will be done
The lie becomes truth and my captor has won
Why he has done this I haven't a clue
Trapped in his attic for a year maybe two
Time has no meaning when you're going to die
I have only one question and that question is why

I once lived next door to a girl whom I seldom saw
Even at ten years old, of her I was in awe
She played a lot by herself in the attic of her house
Befriending animals of every kind, I think she had a mouse
I watched her go to dancing class, her raven hair in bows
My face pressed against the glass, smudges left by my nose
I couldn’t get her to notice me; I guess we both were shy
And I couldn’t muster up the courage, please don’t ask me why
She always carried around a book; I think it was full of poems
My eyes spied her going into the woods, where often she would roam
I could sometimes hear on summer nights, music from her room
I dreamed about her as my bride and about me as her groom
Years went by and we moved away never having really met
Thirty years since that time, but her angelic face I’ll never forget
“Connie” is what they called her, but I think “Constance” she did prefer
Funny how every now and then, I still stop and think of her

Light Verse
She was unassuming, shy, a girl-next door type
He was a bad boy, but noticed her notice him
It amused him; he was always amused until the conquest
He loved having fawning females beg him for more.
She was a good girl, would not go unless they were married.
A hellcat in the bedroom. Now he was the fawning guy.

The Girl Next Door
The baby breeze blew briskly
Like the swiftness of a light limb,
Caressing my lonesome heart,
As it bore her voice nigh: quest of hearts.
I looked through the silk curtain
Obstruenting my view of the silken.
She was in her night gown: cruel bikini.
The swell of her breast, a calling fountain.
I wanted to dash into the waves,
Get locked up in its coziness.
But, she pulled the curtain over again:
The girl next door just never cares.
Return I then to my cushion again disappointed,
With a tortured hope: perhaps, she feels same bout me.
