He Thought of the Girl Next Door

They were best friends, so he was kicking himself.
Because although he was the boy next door,
She did not think of him in that way.
Want to spend the night? She asked him.
I have some polka dotted pajamas I want you to see.
He had to decline, knowing he could not bear it.
She was getting more desirable every minute.
