HE FORGIVES

He forgives what I cannot,
What I hold on to,
He`s forgot.

What I cling to,
He sets free,
For what I cling to,
Clings to me.

Premium Member God Forgives Abortionists For He Is One As Well

Abortionists are heroes in this Christian's book of man,
They save a fetus from a Hell that 'Christians' seem to plan!
A mother left to fend for self, with rapist's child to raise,
While many who claim Christian views, obtusely share a daze.

A bastard born of woman "has to be the victim's fault,"
While fetuses that "God Saves" are paved over with asphalt!
What proof that fetus has a soul when God treats some like trash,
Your claim to understand His will? Seems genuinely rash!

If Bible is 'the word of God,' 'your take' is not 'His Word,'
And when you say you understand you're 'giving God the Bird,'
Your fire to live a 'Holy Life,' may help you to survive,
The judgment of another's soul? May God's Grace help you thrive!

Some atheists live Christian lives; their 'faith' shows Grace I think,
Impossible to prove belief! But doubt has far less stink.
For 'Doubters' serve humility and display more restraint,
'The Saved,' so sure that they've arrived, own corners that they paint!

Poet's Notes:
I'm sure that this poem will make some folks angry, but I do not judge you (though God may). I submit this poem in humility (though you may feel condemnation), for I genuinely care for all of our souls and called on by God in the Bible to witness to others. Please testify back to me if you feel God calling you to point out any error!

Premium Member A Lad Forgives His Dad

How sad it was to watch that boy,
Who in his hands, ne’er held a toy,
Walked aimlessly, a subdued child.
He mostly trudged with his head down,
If he looked up, it was with frown.

He took the same route every day,
which led him past a barn with hay.
the farmer childless, his wife had died
his farm his life, Nelly his bride,
was ill, to stay alive for him, she tried.

One day the boy and farmer met,
‘twas winter, close to Christmas, yet,
no feeling for this season either had.
The boy found this man to be kind,
The farmer spoke ‘bout his wife and sighed.

Come inside the old man said, warm your feet,
the boy’s tattered clothes gave him no heat.
The first thing that the farmer did,
found a jacket rather big, a bowl of soup
he gave the boy baked bread, the soup to scoop.

They chatted till late that night, the boy told
of his dad who beat him bad, when behold,
a bright light shone outside the house,
and angel’s voices carols sang out loud,
they sang with them, one young, one old.

This story ends with love, to have, to give and get,
the boy stayed with the farmer, neither had regret.
The old man died and joined his so missed bride.
The young boy now a fine young man and wealthy too,
forgave his dad for miseries endured, when just a lad.

Premium Member God Forgives

Have you ever felt hopeless?
Thinking there's no one to care.
Is there someone in your past?
At whose memory you stare.

Don't take the hide off yourself
Or think perhaps your not decent.
For mistakes you have made
Even if they've been most recent.

For we spend our entire lives
Wrestling with thorns in our flesh.
For the good seed and bad
Are two that never will mesh.

And you can love other people
Though one day they've hurt you.
Like we hurt God each day
In things we've said or failed to do.

We all face temptations daily
Of one stripe or another.
God was tempted but sinned not
Nor tempts he any other.

Though we try hard as we may
To live a committed life above sin;
While in this earthly body
We're inclined to mess up again.

He Forgives-(Whitney)

He Forgives
(Whitney)

He forgives
us of our sins
He forgives
if we ask Him
come broken
He's waiting to forgive you

Please cry out
He will answer
Just give Him
your cares right now
deep healing
Just release all pains to him

God Forgives Us of Our Wrongs

God Forgives Us Of Our Wrongs!

God forgives us of our wrongs!
And he wants us all, to try and get along!

He gave us his word and instructions…
But, too often, we don’t seem to “function!”

Something done, or something said…
And it’s like some people, wish you were “dead.”

Even in Christ’ body, there’s dysfunction from the start.
Ending up in another wounded and bleeding heart!

What if Christ treated us, like how we treat each other?
What if he turned his back, like we do our brother?

No matter the good... A list of wrongs is often kept.
What’s been done… Someone can’t seem to forget???

Do you find yourself, a person
 who’s easily offended?
By someone you don’t like,
 or one you’ve befriended?

May I suggest a “heavy dose” of 1 Cor. Thirteen?
The love of God can take care of ANYTHING!

If it didn’t, then Christ’ death is meaningless and lost.
He bore all of our sins that day on the cross!

If we can’t forgive your brother over something he’s done…
We need to ask forgiveness of Christ… God’s son!

There’s no excuses, in God’s
kingdom that’s eternal!
Will your name be written
 in heaven’s journal???

Premium Member Your Kiss Forgives

They call you untrue
Leaving with the light ~
Will you?

No more,
Your arms now my safe shore

They say you betray
Hearts in limbo ~
Will you stay?

Yes,
For your kiss forgives
All this.

Trust the Lord, He Forgives

unsurvived,
walking amongst the ones who cry-
I close my eyes,
drift off into a lullaby...

singing tunes of hatred,
I hear melodies of obscurity-
hidden behind masquerades of intuition,
revolted by immaturity.

far beyond the emerald fields,
in between the lines spoken-
lives a house of one,
where calmness is broken.

I've fed the lambs truth,
yet they betray with mistrust-
I've given my best self,
for leaving is a must.

a verse can carry a template
that evolution can be whole-
I drift into a lullaby,
as the lambs lose control.

a fever rushes,
my forehead blushes.
I shake and shiver,
feeling the quiver.

but who are you to drown?
what gives you rights to stay true?
I say you'd never speak those words,
if you knew the Lord like I do.

I live with faith,
hope with grace-
I can see those lies
in a lullaby embrace.

choose righteousness,
expel all secret moments-
deliver your will,
to the Lord's atonement.

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO FORGIVES OUR CONFESSED TRESPASSES

February 2 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 5-7

Key Verse – Leviticus 5:19 It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.

FAITH IN GOD WHO FORGIVES
OUR CONFESSED TRESPASSES

God forgives our confessed trespasses against His holiness
Truly, He cleanses us of our sin-filthiness
With His sanctifying blood of righteousness…
Let’s thank Him with faith for His peace-filled graciousness.

God forgives our confessed trespasses in our sincerity
Truly, He grants us His pardon midst our salvation-security
With His loving heart, checking our humility…
Let’s praise Him with faith as we esteem His sovereignty.

God forgives our confessed trespasses with His assurance
Truly, He corrects us of our foolishness and ignorance
With His perfect wisdom against deceit for our deliverance…
Let’s learn from Him with faith as advance for discipleship-furtherance.

God forgives our confessed trespasses upon His command
Truly, He transforms us to conform to His divine demand
With His purifying mercy girding our stand…
Let’s submit to Him with faith cleaving to His guiding hand.

God forgives our confessed trespasses we never hide
Truly, He humbles us against our pride and selfishness-ride
With His compassionate care to direct each step of our stride…
Let’s follow Him with Him faith, while in His will we abide.

God forgives our confessed trespasses by His grace
Truly, He requires our earnestness devoid of hypocrisy’s trace
With His peaceful comfort we need always…
Let’s cast to Him our burdens with faith to triumph in life’s race.

God forgives our confessed trespasses as He helps us walk in His light
Truly, He illuminates us against unbelief’s blight
With His Word we should meditate with delight…
Let’s depend on Him faith, trusting Him to answer our prayer-plight.

When God Forgives, He Forgets

God is so glorious that when he forgives, he also forgets.
When he forgives a sin, committing that sin is something that we no longer have to fret.
When God forgives, he forgets and he never again thinks about the sins that we commit.
We have to confess our sins to him and try to do better, our sins are what we must admit.
But to be forgiven, we must first forgive others, that's what we must do.
If we refuse to forgive, God won't forgive me and he won't forgive you.

To Dream This, Love Forgives, When I Call Out Her Name

Your kiss, its memory ambrosia for this lonesome heart
you I so miss, these many decades we have been apart
Your sexy eyes, sent passionate waves into wanting soul
yes we said our goodbyes, but these years alone took a toll
Your grace and beautiful mind, perhaps I miss all the more
time has been unkind, my sorrow was in closing that door!

Pray I, your huge heart forgave, that raving fool I became
and your mercy save, as I now utter your lovely name
Our last dance, sweetest of nights, before our love fell apart
lost romance, greatest tragedy was my breaking your heart
This mercy I beg now, will renew this sad, weak spirit
when I cry your name, if you cry out mine, I will hear it!

Only God Forgives We Don'T

only god forgive we don't
we are not the curse
of all your crimes
we are not guilty
of all the deaths of
the innocent
dead on every streets
we are not the reason
why we are in poverty
all this time past
till now
is not by our making
that hard struggles is
always what is
left to survive
in our ghettos
is not our prayers
to live below
one dollar per day in Africa
no no no
we the People are
not guilty
and we wish if we are
to forgive those that
curse all this calamities
where will we start from
so that is not for human
but for God

only God forgives we don't
is not our dreams
to be slaves right
in our own land or abroad
is not our wish
to be neglected
by our leaders
our governments actions
before and now is
never our desire
oh is not our aims
to see our life's
this ugly in the
midst of plenty
I just wish God can
forgive them
for that is left for
him alone

only God forgives we don't
is not our wish
to be hopeless
is not our hope
to cope with
this brutal political
illusion of change
is not our fault
that they always
lie to us
I know they don't
understand life
where life is supposed
to lead us through a light
of love peace and happiness
so it does not make
us happy when we
always have to see
our love ones short gone
down six feet for nothing
oh God we can't forget
all this
so is hard for we to forgive
yes that is difficult for us
and if this is true then
only God can forgive

only God can forgive we don't
I wish it is easy to forgive
then our heart will have been
more lighter
everyday nowadays
our youths are on the run
so many end up on the high sea
so many got dried up at the
hot desert
in North Africa
oh is not our wish to run always
from home
is never in our hearts and minds
to live in wars
is so sad to see our homes on fire
all because some intelligent
human beings are
greedy heartless and so ignorant
of a simple truth
I just wish we could forget and
forgive
but all this calamities
is not of our making
and this means
only God can forgive we don't
