Pondering The Sad And Fateful Decision

there he sat
his brain peddling along
heart fluttering in space
and that bright summer sky kissing his face
mind recalling trouble
her face appears
she that ripped his flesh and smashed his world
there is no reprieve
certainly is no hope
he ponders the unthinkable
a sharp knife in his right hand
birds fly and settle in the sycamore tree...

such vibrating colors and splendid tunes
his heart started growing lighter
music soothes the wounded beast
yes, today he would walk
back into this dark world
fight the dreaded beast
to rise in morn and smile
eat a fine breakfast
maybe find a new job
why not he mused
is my life ready for joy
yes it tis
brain fired up and
heart grown lighter
then suddenly he saw
her face and darkness return
he sits and sharpens that knife
after all he thought
what the hell is life.....

after all
what the hell is living
but a black curse
a lonely death
he remembers
his knife
sharpens its
long blade
and muses death
would it be
so bad
pain would stop
sleep would fall
and
his heart
stop crying....

again his brain
thought
what is living
but a curse
a curse he endures
as she went away
and now so will he...

 Moth
 seeks light
 as night falls
 Finds glowing bulb
Flying in circles round its new found orb
Then going into a fateful spiral
 A gleaming lure
 invites it
 to its
 doom

Premium Member One Fateful Chance

Lingering, we watch the quays
Rambling by the old seaside,
On brisk yet fluid August days
While gazes caught waves on a ride;
To mirror our bewitched displays
Like sighs, whispered low the tide.

Held by the light of moon’s flare
Compelled to cite, expose a trance;
You pinned a rose along my hair
O destined sign for lush romance;
And right then, you wished to declare
One love’s debut, one fateful chance!

Fateful Dreams

Although we struggle helplessly
Inside of fateful dreams
When you believe in fate like me
How wonderful it seems

Something surely meant to be
Yet far beyond our reach
Cannot resist the driving force
Of fate within us each

An age of virtuality
Might seem a bit far fetched
Somewhere in our hearts and minds
Reality is etched

Barriers and walls collapse
And crumble to the ground
Distance has become extinct
What treasure we have found

Fate can manifest herself
In many ways today
But never take for granted
The love she brings your way

Cherish love with all your might
And reap it in return
Take it to your heart and soul
And let your passion burn

Doris called, "Caleb has another earache
all night he has cried in terrible pain."
Doris asked me to assist for her sake.
Sat down to rest, watch TV once again.
Now in permanent memory~places...

That Fateful Day, Lost

That fateful day all was shattered and lost
Lost! Pride saved but at what eternal cost!
Soon a wandering mist , sailing all alone
born of lies cutting so deeply into the bone

Months and years crashed forward within a rage
walking dead, eyes blinded upon a hated stage
Mercy an elusive goal, flees with silent steps
as beaten , battered soul sinks to darkest depths

Suddenly light streaked across that angry path
destroying betrayal , pain and such great wrath
How could this be, a Love grabbing hold of me
had not I cast aside such errant foolish plea?

Pride fled but never, not ever that precious Hope
mercy gifted to a spirit that simply could not cope!

Beware the Fateful Ides(Farewell To Julius)

Ambition, ambition, it killed a man.
O, beware the fateful ides.
The Senate, the last place in March he’d stand
as “they” were not on his side.

Rome’s sole conqueror of so many lands,
his exploits were known near and far.
But now he fell to his countryman’s hands
as with daggers they began to mar.

He’d done so much for Rome already,
why should he not solely rule ?
But not all minds in Rome were ready
for the ambitions of a “fool”.

Funny, but how what they tried to stop
came about in the end anyway.
For now a Caesar would sit atop
Rome’s rule despite what they would say.

That Fateful Night

That Fateful Night……
The nightfall makes my mind to shudder with fear,
I remember that night crystal clear,
I was approaching to attend a knock on the door,
I did not stop until I heard a loud roar.

All of a sudden the hall became dark
But I could see an approaching flame spark
The tree outside was wavering in the wind
And I was hiding under the sofa with a sharp knife
I thought it was the last day of my life
The rush of adrenaline made me come out
I, making it out alive was a complete doubt
And then I hear a painful shout
It tore through my ears

I realized it was gone but my fear remained
The walls of my house blood stained
My heart was throbbing with guilt
Now my life was ruined, I was like silt
At a corner, I see his corpse

I then decide to ride away on my horse
I try to keep up my pace
But when I close my eyes I only see his bruised face
I knew I had committed a crime
And it felt right at that time

I close my eyes and all the memories play in my brain
I throw myself in the pathway of a speeding train
My legs were shaking with the train’s speed
But I pay it no heed
The train launches forward on me and I fall down covered in a pool of blood

Now I have cleansed my soul and started a new life
I am everywhere, starting from the clouds, stars and the skies
You see me on the lawn and in everyone
Now I am all and none.

Black poison mist overrides
mystery moonbeams in misery,
the howling of beast and worms
swallow the remnants of your hollow
sphere. Do the parts of our end
qualify the price of your beginnings?
Are you a worthless apostle, sinner
sadist or saint? Which side of a human
canvas reveals your paint? We'd like to
be Dorian, impervious to faint before
that torrid portrait, its touch never to taint.
Immortality is a trance, a worthless dance
that treads a death like an impermanent
romance, deeds doth done. A lost path to
that paradise of exalted traitors, evildoers,
users and takers, all and none.

That Fateful September {911}

For those who have paid ultimately for FREEDOM

As I stood and watched the towers burn
I thought when will those who hate us learn
America isnt measured by its tallest steeple
but by the dignity and courage of its people
America is a concept, rather than a nation
where freedom reigns in constant celebration
where new thoughts and ideas are cherished
those rights evident by those who perished
mothers, fathers, a family member
taken away that fateful september
a horrible tragedyy, and a great loss
but the concept will remain at any cost
America will continue to flourish and grow
and in the very end all will know
unlike the towers the people still stand
all races, religions, proudly, hand in hand
In the end we shall all decease
and the concept will change to eternal peace
For Some

Fateful Climb

Oh how I try to understand
The chaos clinging to my hand
Past mistakes made
Slowly the memories fade
Wondering where now will I land

Will it be smacked flat on my face
Or strong, proud and full of Grace
Only the higher power knows
What in life comes and goes
Yet, I continue to pray for my peaceful place

Continuing to keep my chin up
Counting the blessings that fill my cup
That allows me to smile
Take time, lay back, relax for awhile
Before my mind begins to become corrupt

All the drama, tears, and high stakes
Holding close to stop feeling the shakes
Of the demons inside trying to escape
Lock up the cell; apply the duct tape
Losing control, quickly stomping the breaks

Praying for the sliding to stop
In the devils valley, looking up the mountain top
The journey seems so long and hard
With my heart and soul already scarred
I keep climbing through the muck and slop

Knowing the hard work pays off in time
Quit thinking, and finish the climb
Stumbling and tripping
Yet, determined and fiercely gripping
Anxious to see my realities with such sublime

Fateful Love

How did i find you, i cannot believe on my fate
you descended upon life's placid lake, like the moon descends sometimes,
slowly and quietly
like the gleaming sunshine in a warm melody,
you have passed away by touching me as such
you are my peace, you are my passion
why didn't you come before?

how did i find you, i cannot believe on my fate
i was thinking, that the creator these days.
has no time, however, he created you
he has got a higher place in my eyes,
the roads, spring and rivers are changed,
life is playing some new tune,
the shower of rain has changed
the seasons will change their stylee,
but i will remain the same
the same way by casting my arms in your arms, every moment
life has become an instrument.
i cannot believe on my fate that how did i get you

Premium Member The Date Before That Fateful Day 3rd Month 13th Day 1973 So Long Ago 30 Years

The Date ,before that fateful day
- 3rd Month, 13th Day ,1973 –
so long ago, 30 years .

Time, in its passing, has eroded life into grains of sand.
From its former, mountainous self, soon upon this land,
in a short while, those grains will become dust in the hand.
To be scattered to the four corners of this earth, then beyond,
to become cosmic particles, specks of light waves, here, there, gone.
A journey to penetrate, be absorbed, become an energy force that will
become the motion that moves life onward, into another journey, to fill,
from then to when, motivated by the past, long lost to one named Bill,
conscious of, yet seldom glimpsed in reflections of the present
or to become a positive, motivating force, into the future sent.
Yet, every day, in every way the forces do play – right or wrong,
destructive or creative good or bad, mistakes and all the song
that influences the moments, the motions, the movements that dictate
the minutes in which we pass on, the past into the future and create.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As these words have taken a life into fight, to flow,
from whence they came I cannot say, I do not know,
for I am not, but a shell, nothing more than a nowhere man,
who does believe, that he has done the best that he can,
yet, in the scheme of things, goes nowhere, has so little to show
for a life time of living on the grounds of his nowhere land,
yet he sees, but still judges life by another’s hand,
and upon this earth has nowhere to take a stand
among this world of the lost and the alone man.
Who the heck am I ?, to think that I might go.
Who the heck am I, I wonder ?, what do I know ?,
about life being lightning and thunder, and so ???
---------------------------------------------------------------

Tomorrow is the thirteenth – thirty years
have slipped on by and the world is full of tears
for what the river holds, is it filled with the fears
of the unknown ?, is that what kept you hanging on ?,
to this plain, a place, a space that should long be gone
from this world we knew, you no longer know, can’t get beyond,
or is it just me ?, is it just feelings ?, just thought ?,
of a long lost friend I have no longer got,
whom, I hope has taken that step, and peace sought.

From across the room our eyes first met;
You were talking to the party’s host.
Immediately I knew I would never forget
This beauty who enticed me the most.
An arrow pierced me from cupid’s ghost.

Upon my approach, your smile encouraged me;
Yet, robbed me of my well rehearsed words.
Your sweet “Hello”, was received so strikingly;
A more beautiful song never sung by a bird.
My awkwardness must have seemed so absurd.

How ever your heart I dared make my conquest,
I assure you, I cannot comprehend.
All night I knew I had to give it my best
And until won I would never end.
I fell in love with you; then made you my friend.

I will always remember that fateful night,
As the evening my lost soul was saved.
As soon as you came into my sight,
I knew my life’s path was now paved;
And ever since, I’ve been well behaved.
