as I read your poem I couldn't help but think about how we humans fly in circles around some new-found fascination not realizing we're heading for self destruction and doom. Perhaps I'm reading too much into your poem. We lived in the El Paso, Texas, area for many years. We jokingly called May "Moth Month," for they were EVERY WHERE! I'm not talking small moths. No, these moths were as big as a man's hands...at night they were attracted to car headlights..diving to self destruction.

While moths continue to go ' into a fateful spiral, ' they're completely unaware of their soon to be execution. I can see how this could relate to humans as well, due to their actions. I like this form. My best to you, Joseph. Hugs, Brandy

Indeed a fateful flight, Joseph. When they revolve around light--little they are aware of the impending demise.

You describe the doom of the moth perfectly. Not the first one I'm sure.

This poem rocks. It's a little sad if you're a moth fan, but dang, why aren't they little guys more careful. This is enjoyable.

Dear Joseph, I adore the rich imagery and deep message of your poem, framed perfectly in the Tetractys form. Perfect title too! As this piece applies to moths, your poem applies to people as well. Well done. Warmest wishes.. Susan

Dear joseph, i love tetractys, and how youv written here in such a seamless flow. I love the opening lines the most here. And descriptive language so well articulated “ as night falls Finds glowing bulb Flying in circles round its new found orb” beautiful! As always! Pleasure reading this

Dear Joe, The simplicity of your structure and the depth of its message create a powerful impact. The imagery of the moth seeking light as night falls is both vivid and haunting. The image of the moth flying in circles around its newfound orb, only to be lured into a fateful spiral, is both tragic and mesmerizing. Through your poem, you've captured the essence of human nature and the universal struggle to resist temptation and navigate the consequences of our actions. - Blessings, Daniel
