Lyrics start 0.05 - timed to the music

Pack your bags dear, there’s a Croc near
And he’s creeping, through the night
With his eye on - on our old stead dear
And it appears - we’re within his sight

You know when that Croc smiles - shows his teeth dear
Concrete jungles start to spread
Whips the grass from right under their feet dear
Scams now filling, each word he’s said

What no scruples you ask, well he ain’t got’em you should know
Seeks locations both, far and wide
Look he’s sneaking - sneaking down the alley
Is there no - place - left to hide

Another Archway, off the highway down the road
Golden handshakes, don’t go the mile
Men in black suits they make it all happen dear
Sanguine red soon, turns into bile

With our kids dear – it’s the buzz 'we gotta go'
Family meeting place, just come on down
Try these milk shakes - they're just like the real thing
And these burgers, the best in town

Bet you a fiver - oh that bun is barely fresh
Kids now falling sick - while their doctors frown
Green backs talking – they don’t give a nickel
Have our bags packed
‘Cause the Croc is
Look out Sneaky Croc is
 Sneaky Croc’s back
Back in town

EPILOGUE

Oh these outlets they keep spreading far and wide
In a hurry, they just can’t wait
Food so tasty, don’t you wonder ‘bout it all
No time to ponder it’ll make you late

Good old family name – so familiar dear
Look out folks for, deceit and lies
Another archway - around the corner
Now that Croc is stopping by
Look out OLD Croc is back

Footnote:
On our recent visit to Japan I noticed the proliferation of Fast Food outlets. It is such a pity to see a country that was once so fastidious with their traditionally healthy diets and that of their kids, changing their lifestyle and falling prey to corporate fast food giants. Even the kids are now embracing this way of life.
It’s sad to see traditional food outlets also losing their livelihood as the trend takes over.

Premium Member Blade So Blue

Friend, you may view me as piteous
for my form is quite hideous
Bloodstained hands I cannot clean
even though I'm fastidious
I accidently killed the queen

This deed beyond my conception
I promised my queen protection
My sword I swung it in the dark
towards a ghostly reflection
It struck my Queen leaving its mark

There she lay upon the threshold
Although young I then felt so old
Dismal in spirit for I loved her true
I beg you to be swift and bold
Take my life with a blade of blue

Premium Member The Poet's Faculty Meeting

Faculty meeting. Formidably flippantly fortuitously fluffy and forgetful.
I began to write a little list of F words, because I was in the F word mood.
Frilly. Free-ha-ha. Feast. Forget-me-knots. Fallacy. Farming. Fastidious. Fun-filled.
What are you doing? A non-friend asked me. She had already broken my chain of counting when I was
Counting syllables, making me angry.
“I am writing F words,” I tell her. She looks at me with fanfare, farcically, fantastically.
I am relieved to begin anew. Now I am adding PH words, because they will go along well with my theme.
Phonetically, phenomena’s, phenol barbital, phosphate, phantom, philosophy
“You can always ask Caren.”
Uh-oh.
I look up.
Everyone is looking at me including the principal who is pleased as punch I’m taking such great notes.
I nod my head.
Feline, foamy. Form-fitting, fleshy, flesh-eating, fractions, fanfare, fishy, finished, foamy, Phillip, fixed, fixt.
Someone puts their hand on my paper.
I glare at them. “What are you doing?”
I put my finger to my lips to shush them.
Fluffy. Faerie, Fairy. Franchise. Farmer. Freshman. Frequent. Frequently.
Feminine. Farcical. Feisty. Fibber. Fibbing. French fries.
I look up.
Clock says 4:35. Time to go.
Totally un-socialized, I fly out the door, knowing the union is on my side.

Premium Member The Color of My Heart

May I show you the shades of my colorful heart
that are airbrushed in love like a true work of art
May I play you a tune of my favorite song
I'm here to engage you and help you be strong
May I dance you to laughter and bring you a rose
from a fastidious garden, where everything grows
May I pull out the stars from the heavens above
and shake down the moon that is oozing with love
May I dream of tomorrow alongside you my friend
and show you the beauty, that only time mends
May we visit the fairgrounds of life once again
taking carousel rides from our happiness glen
May I show you the shades of my colorful heart,
they are airbrushed in love, a true work of art.

Premium Member Spring Sonata

Written: Mars 1st, 2024
              ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spring sonata serenades a zest of love bloom
Daffodils dance, tulips swing, birds sing and fly
Azure sky, brilliant sun, and young leaves sway
Love serenade, rising sonata, flower dance
Beauty blooms as birds sing a harmonious song
Spring sonata, heavenly bequest, a gift of love.
Solo sings soulfully, squandering souls sturdily
Sweet sparrows swing the spring stratum
Spirits swagger solemnly, satiated, and stiff
Sleepy seraphic spirits seek a simulacrum
Sumptuous sequential slim spending spree.
Relaxing on emerald grass in comely spring sun
Her soul felt fluid and fastidious as a feather
Fantastic "Feel finical to thaw me in your hand!"
It's tough to tackle thorny tremors in the chest
Luscious peaks can be a day impetus sonata.
Relax, holding my hand to my bosom
Quixotic susurrus rises akin to breeze
Oh, idyllic souls, still replete with enthusiasm!
From hilltop, sky, and earth, sojourn equidistant
Glance into my eyes to witness ambrosian bliss.
Stay silent—your heartbeat discourse to mine
Recall our zealous fantasy vista from this peak
Our quest blesses us with a stupendous soul leap
Your doe eyes shatter, while we're placid
As mortals, pain is a mongrel, eternal mate.
Let's linger till the sun auric dust felicitously flecks
Stories of orbs vanishing and raw ones emerge
As placebo silence decays, a peace aura arises
Night's envious gaze descry us from distance
Back, we'll transcend limits and obscurity.
Embrace the waltz of my Moonlight Sonata
Follow to fancy a whimsical odyssey!
Nodding off with drowsy eyelids
I collocate my corpulent core with you
My moonlight sonata, you induce anguish in my soul.
Premium Member Exquisite Closeness
Written: January 06, 2024
           ______________________________________
Shimmering swaths
of cerulean sea
ionize comely light
purple-tinged sand
strewn with tattered shells
during low tide,
summon imperial thrones,
tartly lovely youth
amid sparkling Tyrian swells,
whilst peering
solace amid
vibrant splendor
of landscape,
as serene slopes
and lucid pleas prevail,
I wait with ebbed breath
for an ethereal grace
to ignite a spark
of hope.
We haven't touched yet,
we're just syncing
over ariose love song,
as warm rain and clouds—bow
"Salut d'amour",
violins string opalescent tones
that rise and fall in pitch,
as a link to ink
an iridescent origami doodle
of a jewel-lit song,
summer nights of
ochre acrylics—a plethora
of fairy flickers and fireflies
amid a flurry of filigree,
to inveigle her into playing.
We draw on our kinship
as we float freely,
over crestfallen ocean
a pen swayed in time,
with an Elysian rim
on my horizon,
I whirl my love whims
and swirl the walnut wood
in disconsolate loops,
In a spice grist mill
sprinkles to spice my life.
Keys and gaunt codes
to demure this dalliance
served with Mirabelle tart
and for the sake of Muscat,
as the breeze tickles
those are my shutters
I fantasize about lying,
over her fastidious breast
as empyreal lee of
a sun-kissed knoll,
should she ever grasp
my hand and our
lips converge,
in an esoteric way
would we fit snugly?
as a dovetail joint in unison,
or would we plummet?
to our deaths
in shattered light?
Creatures of the Night
Time’s dark veil floats slowly to Earth
As people of twilight wait for rebirth
A species is stirring, about to take charge
The men of the gloom, dark workers at large
Moonlit toil revealed by the morn
Papers now printed, babies now born
Cities scrubbed clean by fastidious hordes
Nocturnal writers put thoughts into words
Samaritans listen to sad people crying
The carers attend to the sick and the dying
Harvesters counting their catch from the sea
A jailer considers a recidivist’s plea
Men of letters with addresses unknown
Those of the air, many miles have been flown
A glow in the sky tells of morning’s first light
It’s the end of the day for the creatures of night
SIXTY EIGHT
For years I’ve lived with being a soixante-huiter
Although my wardrobe’s more fastidious and neater
Those heady days are not beyond recall
The nights and days when we first did it all
But sober work and ethics have combined
To make a settled bed  my truest mind
And catalogues and dictionaries my woe
To understand what happened long ago
Far flung days have their own allurement
But nothing beats the logic of procurement
And adventitious loves have gone the way
Of all youth, to say it’s had its day
I daren’t even call myself a woman sweeter -
Past perfect indiscretions tend to tweet her.
Premium Member Cowboy Saturday Night Hoedown
The cows is lowin' in the old corral and all the evenin' chores is done.
Hank scraped the manure off'n his boots 'cause he's a fastidious son-of-a-gun.
He drew his pay, jumped in his pickup and headed fer Clyde's Saloon,
To quaff some brew, grab a gal er two and dance to the fiddler's tune!
There was a hoedown at Clyde's where cowpokes met ever' Saturday night.
There they danced, boozed and let off steam that usually ended in a fight!
There was a band with drums, banjo, fiddle, bass and a steel git-tar,
And the pianer player Mike McGurk (when they could pry him from the bar!)
A gal named Mousy Bush sang with a voice that quivered like Robin Hood's bow.
That's where Hank hung out Saturday nights to blow his hard-earned dough!
Hank was dancin' the Texas Two Step and havin' the time of his life,
When an incident occurred that occasioned another night of strife.
Some dude splattered a Coors on Hank's new Calvin Klein shirt and jeans.
Now, stuff happens and normally this wouldn't amount to a hill of beans,
But this got Hank's dander up and since he never held his hootch all that well,
He punched the guy, bloodied his schnoz and began a-raisin' hell.
A grand brawl ensued with ever'one tossin' punches, chairs and tables.
There was a heap of cussin' with patrons lablin' others with tawdry lables!
Hank arose Sunday mornin' with a poundin' headache and two black eyes,
But he'll be back at Clyde's Saturday next to enjoy a hoedown with the guys!
The Cosmic Keys of Consciousness
Open I say the mechanical molecular mind
As we stare from the celestial spheres and wonder
The non-physical now that is left behind
A timeless tapestry with tenacious thunder
The Keys that unlock the spatiotemporal still
Unveiling momentous multitudes of matter
Emphatically experiencing the fastidious free will
Creating transitory thoughts within the cosmic clatter
The Keys synchronously slowly tactically turn
For we await the immaculate enigma engines
Infinite Love and wisdom is our youthful yearn
Microcosms of uncertainty in determinant dimensions
For the cradling creators of the cosmic keys
Watching and waiting in the bionomical breeze.
The Key to infinite Love
The Key to infinite Wisdom
The key to infinite Uncertainty
It is unbeliveable how many pericopes
people do not know.
In your mind there is a reservoir  of knowlege untapped.
Its not like this stuff is mystical or anything!!
When you reach the quadrivial of what you know.
You may find that its not worth
much more than a ligure.
When finding your weltanschauung
You may be fastidious at times,
But in your cockaigne
jubulince will reign supreme.
All anyone ever needs is self-identification.
Or a dictionary.
He Is Music,Music Is Him
Confidence,a radiant aura that defines him
Even whilst holding dear Jes playing a tune on a whim
It exudes and transcends his playing flaws until-
All you can hear turns symphonic like Beethoven
And his candidness,with each string,becomes proven
Laudable,is his love and passion for music
A true love of a jealous kind covering up like a tunic
Rare as a four leaf clover,a gift from God that makes-
The sound of his voice melt any frozen heart
And bring harmony and laughter to a world torn apart
Illustrious,like the great Achilles born to Thetis and Peleus
His percussive skills reflect the nature of his muse
Bringing unique blends of sound to greats like Hamilton-
Even Lira and Victor can testify to his idiosyncrasy
That which makes his sound distinguished and classy
Fastidious,a trait that echoes in his work and mannerism
'By the blood' is evidently a show of this perfectionism
Though he carries his talent in a humble manner-
He expresses himself with great felicity
Not forgetting that grand touch of simplicity
Fearless,he valiantly navigates his gift in a foreign land
Grabbing opportunities whilst gaining the upper hand
Though fearsome he may be when faced with commitment-
Love abides in him,he strives to achieve the dream
Knowing within that he is music,and music is him...
