Best European Union Poems
The following poem was written by me before Britain joined the European Union and possibly reflects the view of most of our citizens both then and today!
United States of Europe
Another day, another dollar,
Funny things we British say.
It's the 'Pound' we use in Britain,
And it's always been that way.
Soon it may change to a ‘Euro’,
If we join with nearby lands.
Sadly they don't speak our English,
Those who offer us their hand.
While I like my nearby neighbours,
I can't see the reason why
We have to share in common money
Just to keep our prices high.
I would rather change to dollars,
Least the language stays the same.
We could then still count in English,
Just a simple change of name.
Tell me where our kinship nestles,
With our offspring or our friends.
Why this struggle to be partners,
Just to follow other's trends.
I know that all the souls within us
Are not different... not at all!
Why not then a world wide money,
Would the Bank of England fall?
But to choose a bigger Europe
When we don’t see eye to eye.
Seems to me a little silly,
Rather like a firework pie.
Now I’ll stop my mindless ramble,
Spend my ‘Sterling’ while I may.
Not just money, independence
Is the price we'll have to pay.

The lash of European Union won’t tell us,
how many thousands migrants
we must take to our home
or where to build
for them temples and the mosques.
We want to break free from E. U. lies.
We are the people of democracy.
The red tape of collapsing Union
and their bureaucrats’ fat pay,
won’t force us to comply
with their unjust rules -
our bravery over financial slavery.
More taxes, these are the dirty tricks
of bureaucrats’ politics.
We are not the beggars, nor scavengers,
but of noble life challengers.
We are free and proud.
In serfdom our country won’t stay.
Of course no one can predict the future and what is to happen.
History has a way of repeating itself that’s the way of things.
In Europe, Germany has the strongest economy that’s amazing isn’t it.
When they flex there muscles all Europe trembles and financially they are split.
Winston Churchill warned Europeans about this nation before the Great War.
At first subtly, then they stormed ferociously and left the world with deadly scars
The European Union runs strictly by this nation’s evil agenda and policies.
It flexes its muscles, economic power and institutes its ideologies.
Why have the western nations allow this enemy of democracy to take control?
We stand idly by listening to rhetoric and let their policies to roll.
Their navy is dominating the Mediterranean Sea poised to control and to act.
Shortly they’ll have military might another Third Reich is powerfully back.
They don’t want England involved they are being alienated and forced out.
Yet we stand idly by without so much as peep or a shout.
Our military is being stretched out to the limit.
We as a free nation and as powerful as we are, are afraid to speak out.
Our faith in God has turned lukewarm and we fail in our duty morally.
Our leaders forget that with the Lords guidance we can conquer spiritually.
Standing as a beacon to the world, repenting, kneeling and ask God for His loving guidance,
We would be able to prevail against the devil; the world needs this nation to stop this moral corruptness.
The free nations England, U.S.A., can’t stand alone against this assault.
The fascist Nazi’s are alive and thriving we can’t allow this, we are at fault.
They were to never again have military might after the World War, never allowed to re-arm.
Yet, they are here again rearing their ugly agenda this should be shown to the world, and we should be alarmed.
China is becoming
A member of the European Union
So they can bail everyone out
All the good jobs
Will be taken
By Chinese immigrants
Mostly from Tibet

'>I feel a little poem story coming along. You might as well share it now, as it would take me ages to put it in my book 10 of poems.
It was written today, 26th June 2016, three days into mourning after the referendum. Vote to leave or stay in the EU.
No one should hang their head in shame.

GB voted to be sane.
Out at last from that mad EU.
I’d place a guard on that tunnel too.
Just in case, those nice lads now march through.
Must not give them ideas of what to do!
Of course GB's land mass is so small, I can now tell you.
Compared to other member countries of that blinking EU!
So why the panic, for what we do?
Little GB votes and the world's in a stew!
Politicians treated us public as thick.
I’m one of the public that made me sick.
So why should politicians be so thick.
We voted as our brains/hearts dictated it.
Great Britain was great before the Common Market.
Upgraded/downgraded to the European Union!
Depending on the way you view.
Now we are out. Let’s give some clout.
To those politicians who voted out.
As with all of their brainpower.
Great Britain should grow by the hour.
Back to what it was before.
Supply enough fish for us to eat.
With a brand new fishing fleet!
Mining coal, black miner’s faces to greet!
The coalman calling down the street!
Let the foreigners their own fuel burn.
Great Britain’s fires on our fuel will burn.
Start our iron ore mines working again.
Make our own iron and steel.
Build big ships not boats I say.
Get Britain on its feet again.
You all can do it in the UK.
United we can work and also play.
There will always be someone to pray.
So buck up, cheer up, Great Britain’s here to stay.
PS Unless this blinking rain washes us away.

I must confess I posted this on BBC News Facebook page for something to do. As you do lol. Got 25 likes in 4 hours. So that's a nice birthday treat even if a day late lol again. Have a nice referendum free day while the politicians sort themselves out. (The new mad Author) new as being GB and not EU.<

200 years Had the USA walked a different route
stayed British or French or Spain had loot

Europe today would be a Russian Dilute
There'd have been one outcome
had Germans took the United Kingdom
no Yanks involved with Europe done

weakened by the war be assured with no stop

and it wouldn't have ended because a wall dropped

all in Europe were down and beaten

as cooperative trusting gratitude

Patriarchal problems
seek matriarchal resolutions.
Republic governance structures,
raising up legislative and executive representatives
to judiciously restore healing
where social and economic and environmental wounds
become public cooperative power
to redeem pathologies
by inviting transparently trusted remediations.
Republics must justify control
of too liberally inclusive love,
and have anthro-supremacist issues
deteriorating into bipolar anger
and polycultural fear
of rabidly overpopulated xenophobia
slowly hatching boundary enhancement schemes,
nationalistic entitlement competitions
replacing humane polypathic hope and faith
in international ecological cooperations
for multicultural health-wealth
2020 revolutions
furthering downstream PositivEnergy Democracy.
We are not wrong
to democratically hope
European Union trust
is a more resilient political ecology
and resonant social theology
than pre-millennial wars
and internecine creedal crusades
and building moats
around castle embattled walls
for hoarding up nutritional treasures
against predative invaders
and polyculturing ideas.
Social and
personal and
economic and
ecological and
theological political integrity
invite democratic gratitude
for republic non-violent bilateral communicating leaders,
green legislators speaking and listening,
and deep learning judicious ecotherapeutic executives
facilitating balance between
LeftBrain deductive unity
and RightBrain sacred inductive diversity,
Secular with Sacred Integrity,
in-between universal ego-health resilience
and unitarian eco-wealthy resonance,
Yang breathing in
Yin bleeding gratitude
ego/eco-redemptively out.
With nearly every prophecy fulfilled and so many signs that abound
Nobody knows the day nor the hour He willed, I just hope you're found
Israel had to again be found and to Jerusalem it had to be connected
By this we are all now bound being just two of the prophecies neglected
The Tribes of Israel will reunite coming from the four corners of the land
Remember the Berlin Wall that night it was God who would not let it stand

But nonbelievers just can't see in believing nothing the Bible says is real

And oh how such war has now affected and still some people ask why

For in those being well aware of His Word we are also very versed in His might
