Cause the Moon To Sing, Yet Nothing Is Good Enough

can I make you pregnant
so that we can at least
have a daughter or a son
it sounds less tackful
but as we have begun
all the obstacles have gone
and the strains of lust
has loosened
I thought to be one
as father and mother
might allow us to be
together as a family
like the way we
think things should be.

Dar harbour full of teeming life
A mass of colourful ships and boats
Radiant do your waters gleam

Each wave gently lapping the shore
Sails fluttering in the breeze

Slowly yet violently the yachts jib
As they sail and tack against the wind
Loud blast out the ships horns
As the tugs pilot them to sea or dock
And the gulls screech diving in their wakes
Many colourful dhows sail in to moor

Hot breezes on my face
As midday temperatures soar
Raising our sails we float
Bringing our bows into the wind
Out to sea we are headed
Under full sail we skim the waves
Ready for what ever adventures await

y poco a poco te hace olvidar aquel amor

(This Is The Day)

A day to use as you will
A beginning or an end
24 hours of chances
1440 minutes of consideration
Mostly disregarded
Attentive in the past
Dreaming of the future
Absent on what's present

I find this day a gift
So meaningful and perfect
I care to set an aura
To love throughout the day
To put my best foot forward
That I should display
To spend it than nothing
Yet, be proud of my mistakes

I think its more useful
Than, "no start at all"
The truth is, tomorrow is invisible
How far I go in life
Depends on my today
I welcome and discover
The value it proclaims

Today is a new day
When I am made new
The best of all moments
To find myself and start anew
Without this, who am I
Tomorrow...
On the next?...
Can't imagine where am I now
If today's out of the picture

To make the most of myself
I make the most out of today
Today my life will change
Mi tiempo... My time...
Mi lugar... My place...

"He was a brave, resourceful and honest boy. He would have been a successful man under
other circumstances. I loved the youngster in the old days and can say now after the passing
fifty years that I still love his memory. He has gained an unfair and undeserved reputation.
Most of the stories told about him are simply not true at all. He was born into poor
circumstances and did what he did to get by. He was a thousand times better and braver
than any man hunting him." - George Coe, close friend

He was a remarkable boy. Far above the average of the young men of those times and he
undoubtedly had the making of a fine man in him." - Susan McSween, close friend

He had a great personality and could ingratiate himself in people's good graces very quickly.
He had laughing blue eyes, always smiling or laughing, very accommodating and good
hearted. He had an innocent timid look and all of this took with the girls at once."
- Lily Casey Klasner, resident

"All the wrongs have been charged to him, yet we who really knew him know that he was
good and had fine qualities. We have not put our impressions of him into print and our
silence has been the cause of great injustice to him." - Martin Chavez, close friend

"He (The one who killed him) was afraid to go back into the room to make sure of whom he
had shot. I went in and was the first to discover that they had killed my little boy. I hated
those men and I'm glad I've lived long enough to see them all dead and buried."
- Deluvina Maxwell, very close friend

"He has gained an undeserved and unfair reputation to this very day,
and so his truest to life story written poetically is my mission to set the record straight."
- William A Cleator, Me

That last quote of mine actually does rhyme poetically,
and so that justifies my posting all of these documented quotes from history
about this well known historical figure, but who is he?

"I don't blame you for writing of me as you have. You had to believe other stories,
but then, I don't know if anyone would believe anything good of me anyway."
- Quien es? Who is it?

1859 -1861, month and day unknown.
As of this writing that's the closest we've come to his birthday.
So many records of his life are now all gone.
His tragic, short and violent life began when he was only just a very young child.
He was a lamb among wolves trying desperately to survive
the untamed Old West's most merciless and vile.
He was supposedly born in New York City,
but the state of New Mexico is where he'd be raised.
It would be there where he'd grow to young adulthood
and become familiar with the west's outlaw ways.
His first foiled crime occurred in New Mexico's Silver City.
He stole some butter and then sold it to a local merchant.
Upon discovery the local sheriff spanked the young boy silly.
Sheriff Whitehill then let the lad go with this stern warning,
"No more will I put a belt to your hide if we ever meet this way again.
If you again break the law, of this you can be sure, You'll Be Going To Jail My Friend!"
The sheriff was actually sympathetic. He wanted to give the boy a healthy fright.
He knew the kid was orphaned, alone and all on his own.
He could see that his future wasn't looking too bright.
It's sad for this boy was no dummy. Mary Richards, his teacher would say,
"He was a student who always had his homework in on time each and every day."
He would enthusiastically help with the classroom chores.
Schooling was not just education, it was an activity he adored.

El Amor Es Libertad

El amor es libertad
Amarte me da alas y me libera

Ars Es Longa, Vita Brevis

Ars est longa,
vita brevis.
Art is immortal.
Art is infinite.
Pictograms tell a story,
of Man that have past.
Terra cotta pots and cuneiforms,
Depicts their details of Lives.
Paintbrushes and canvases,
bring history alive.
Statues of stone or metal,
Remind us of the legacies,
That people left behind.
Art is history,
And forever it will be,
The story of Life
as we see it.

Ruben Es Mi Papi, Mi Amor

It hurts to hold back what I wanna say
It brings warm fresh tears to my eyes today

I can't shake my feelings cause they're real its seems
I wanna wake up, but I cant...this isn't a dream

I finally know what it is to fall in love, its all so new
I didn't just fall in love, I fell in love with you

I never knew love could bring joy and so much pain
I feel as if I'm in the midst of a cold and bitter rain

We are always together and hardly ever apart
your leaving is going to be murderous to my heart

I never knew love could hurt so much, my tears they sting
When I wipe them away, around each eye is a red ring

My eyes are bloodshot and swollen from the tears I've cried
because I cant seem to tell you I need you by my side

When we say goodbye I will crumble and fall
my heart will shatter to pieces so frail and small

You have my heart I gave you my key
you need to undo the lock so the chains fall free

So you can see how i feel about me and you
those feelings on my heart like a permanent tattoo

I want you to see, feel, and know exactly how I felt
the first time you kissed me and made my heart melt

Your touch and your kisses like electricity that takes my breath away
I feel selfish to say it, but I need you to please, please stay

When we are together I lose track of time and space
I sometimes forget we are even in this place

I know you can see I love you its in my eyes
when you look you see only truth no lies

My love for you has a bright glow and shine
and its been that way since I called you mine

You managed to knock me off my feet
you're a good man, so wonderful and sweet

We have a magnificent bond we share
we built it strong with love and care

Our feelings so strong, our connection so deep
but neither of us ready to take that leap

A leap that means sharing how we truly feel
but our feelings we keep continuing to conceal

Before we open up, we'd rather risk losing it all
This will be the beginning and end of our downfall

Falling in love, for me this is a first
I know this broken heart will be the worst
