An Empty Tomb In Jerusalem

“ 1Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!” Acts 20:1-2 NIV

There’s An Empty Tomb in Jerusalem,
Where Christ slept for three days;
Then was resurrected—
His Father above to highly praise.
He slept upon the Sabbath,
Until that Sunday morn,
But arose early in the day;
When victory over evil was born.

That empty tomb’s a reminder
That Christ is living now;
Resurrected from the dead—
By His Father’s power to endow.
He’s the only religious leader
To leave an empty grave;
All other religions are ‘works’;
Useless hope of heaven to crave.

That empty tomb is precious,
Because it is a sign—
Of the fact that evil’s conquered,
And very soon will be benign.
Man is given victory—
Over sin and over death.
Through the righteousness of Christ,
Each soul finds heaven’s hearth.

That empty tomb’s a mystery
That only God comprehends;
A reminder of His love,
And the mercy that He sends.
Because He truly loves us,
He found a way to recall—
All His righteous children;
A heavenward journey to enrol.

Father wished him a Man of Distinction
He got straight As in school
No one thought him a fool
At higher studies won commendation

Got high-paying job in government
Promotions to highest firmament
Wished to be great writer
Looked around for tutor
Who showed the way out of predicament

“First enrol in creative writing schools
Where Shakespeare and Cervantes are thought fools:
They didn’t take tuition
Abhorred imitation –
Follow our advice and drool out stools!”

                                               Inner Strength

When clouds of despair shroud the mind
And darkness of night veils the soul
It is time one`s anchor to find
And the inner strength to enrol
To avert down a ditch to fall
Or head oneself against a wall.

Grapes are sour

      Mountaineering expedition to start
Jubilant Jack rushed to enrol his name.
      Enthusiastic Jack thought to exert
effort to win lots of prize and fame.

Two months tough training was mandatory.
Late-riser Jack bound to wake up at five.
     Rigorous practice seemed not satisfactory.
Hard labor! But what’s the alternative?

     Comfort-loving Jack could not continue
What to do? Jack yearned for victory and prize.
     Another event on next avenue:
Jubilant Jack searched and found on surprise.

He was delighted to join walking race.
Being bold brave jack walked in glory and grace

Happy new year, full of blessings
Along every day of the year
Pouring from the Divine up high,
                               Positive thoughts guiding your life
Yourself and dear ones to exalt.

New joys may the new year bring in
                               Exulting perfumes of success,
Wishes of yours may they turn true.

Years fly on swiftly as a bird,
Enrol them your dreams to fulfil,
                               Appreciate life with its beauty,
Rise above the humdrum of life.

To achieve goals set for New Year
Over coming days, weeks and months,

Yearn in safety to reach the port
On board of the celestial ship
                               Under captainship of the Lord.

Jack Rutter

Jack was born in 1981, but at the age of 18,
Was punched in his face so he was out clean,
He fell backwards to hit his skull on the kerb,
Which haemorrhaged his brain to fully curb,
His future as a Birmingham City footballer.

He’d been with the Blues since he was ten,
So after intensive care and recuperation’s den,
He flitted from local club to local club insane,
‘Cos it was so hard with his imbalance skein,
Neither could he twist nor head confidently.

Two years later, in 2011, after that fierce attack,
And after extensive rehabilitation - not to lack,
Because Jack was left with mild Cerebral Palsy,
The charity Headway pointed him to sport by CP,
So he joined the England 7-a-side footballers.

He’s captain of the team with his experience,
‘Cos many of the others were born, deliverance,
With CP, and so they don’t have leadership skills,
Or the training you get from the big clubs’ bills:
Jack is proud to encourage the squad on or off.

He is a mentor on Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, focus,
On the Get On Track program he does direct, locus,
And he’s behind other young people’s programs,
Like AQA Unlocking Potential to give people grams,
To enrol in college or Uni, or to train or to find work.

Jack’s attacker got a sentence of twelve months,
In a young offenders institution to wear the cloths,
But he only served six of them, such a light penalty,
For a sudden life-change, a twist to redirect destiny,
And Jack’s never set eyes on him again, no wish to.

He’s going to Rio to play firstly against the Japanese,
Where he’ll bask in the sun, so different from freeze,
He came 9th at the Intercontinentals 2013, the way up,
5th at the Euro Championships 2014, success to sup,
Then 5th at the Worlds in 2015, an even better victory.

Forever In Eden

Sun shining, angels draw attention from the softest touch
Seeing the glow from your aura, love at this time, I didn’t have much
You looked at me with an inner love, you touched my lonely soul
It’s no wonder with you I could not wait any longer to enrol

You held my hand, shared your deepest thoughts with me
You unwrapped your heart, a gift opened for all to see
How did you break down the barricade around my core?
I’ll never know, but for that reason, its you I adore.

Feeling the warmth of your radiant skin, can you be from up above?
Overwhelming, as the angel I embrace is protection sent to love
I close my teary eyes, disbelief that your head was encompassed by light.
Visions of a Halo so full and calm, so tranquil but so bright.

Wanting you is the easiest task I have ever employed
Having been blessed with you, I remain forever overjoyed
Feelings that damage you absorb, replaced with loving devotion
How my life runs more structured, even with all the emotion

I treasure the time we spend together, moments forever stored
Golden meadows, such a glorious place. My thoughts are never ignored.
Loving you is a wonderful vision, made real by you in my life
That’s the reason why you allowed me, to call you my Wife.

Baffled Brain

Dubious mind
Perplexed situation
Bewildering environment
All compelling me, to lose my temperament

A Sense of hesitancy in expressing,
What I desire and what’s happening,

I seriously wish to instigate,
Before it becomes too late,

Don’t want to seek anyone’s support
But without it, can’t afford

Oh Divinity!
I need to be blessed,
To abandon the distress

Just gratify my soul
N Help me enrol’

Please do! Please do! Please do!

April and the clocks forward spring,
our cricket practice gets in full swing.
Nets to untangle from their poles,
players to call and enrol.

Gang mowers to grease and oil,
the team kit-bag to disembroil.
Green stained pads to whiten bright,
fixture lists to expedite.

Mend the sight screen's rickety panels,
coax another season from my flannels.
Wash and iron the umpire's coats,
the score-box to creosote.

Tea urns to scour, crockery to rinse and clean..
a team captain's tasks routine,and unseen.
Cricketers good,indifferent,unsung,
across this land in a timeless sport played for fun.

Nude

Naked all to me
Unlease the bound of secrets
Desires you have sworn to keep
Enrol me in your life stripped.

Father's Birthday

Today is our father's birthday,
Hip hip hooray, what a beautiful day.

Mother would have a birthday cake and candles,
Thoughtful presents from father's relatives.

I like to send father a handsome tie each year,
And maybe a shirt to go with his suit.

I remember his guidance through the years,
When he adopted me, i was from mother's first marriage.

This is very kind and good of him,
That allowed me to enrol in Teacher's College.

I graduated with an A with my friends,
My friend and I taught in a country school.

Each row was a different grade, complex,
I did like this experience.

Then I was hired to teach, I am retired now.
The Ministry of Education sent me a certificate thanking me for contributing to the Excellence in Education.

Father would drive me to the Go Train that I could get to my teaching Job,
I enjoyed teaching very much.

When i was a teenager he bought our mother and I a beautiful coat, sweater, skirt set and a navy dress with a rainbow on the collair.

He was a Drector of Tip Top Tailor and Leah Posluns.
They sponsored him to study for his Doctorate of Philosophy , which he received.

When we went to the cottage father would pack the Volkswagon with our clothing,
Then he would drive us to the cottage on the island.

When we caught a cold, he went out to buy ice cream.
When I married my husband Walter, we had a Christmas wedding at our parent's house in Lorne Park.

We have had many beautiful years with father,
He became grandfather to our beautiful and handsome children Kirk and Erik

Great grandfather to Kirk and Jenn's children, Maya and Merrick,

I am blessed to be at the Senior's Residence with our father for two years,
He clapped after I gave my piano performance.

What beautiful memories, we dined together with friends for breakfast and brunch,
Many beautiful memories including reunions with our relative.

Happy Birthday father, loved by your relatives forever,
God bless you in heaven.

Christmas Flow

Christmas Flow

Imperfect Conditions
Great Traditions
Flow of reasons
To be Thankful
To be Marry
To Appreciate the Angels glow ...
Although climate change caused no snow..

Don't worry smile it's still lovely

Come Together , Live the Christmas Flow
Listen to the Carol
The time to enrol
.. grateful Love

Meet tree members
Everyone Remembers
As it's never too late
to drop hate
leave the dread
Enchanted by faith
Sharing all the bread.

As poor should be fed
The promises
Wishes read

As in young years in red
A man with beard
Brings presents to children's hand

Like
Lovers watch the stars and eat
Traditions say
Crackers Cracked on English
Wafers Shared on Polish
Lights glow on French streets..
And many more as
Everyone celebrates another years Christmas tone

Whole worlds fame.

Through the window beam
To see United family as a team
Friends,Lovers and Strangers
Come to join the Christmas feast
To last but not least
Feel the Christmas Flow .

My Dog Dep Ression

Packing a suitcase
To take the road
Travelling light in a
‘Take everything’ mode

Instagram pictures
Pets in with the clothes
“I wish I could take them
But it just won’t close”

But what to do
When you can’t say no
To taking a dog
Wherever you go

When I go travelling
I have no choice
I take my dog
And my internal voice

A big black dog
Contained in my case
My luggage still light
Fixed smile on face

My dog called Dep
Goes all over with me
But my dog isn’t one
For all to see

He has is own passport
His surname is Ression
But here’s where I tell you
I have a confession

Metaphorical Dep
The dog
Clouds my thoughts
With a dark coloured fog

I try to leave him
He tags along
I’ve learnt to accept
He wants to belong

So we go together
Sometimes he decides
How we both feel
Where sadness resides

Sometimes, just sometimes
I take control
And in to some happiness
We both enrol

When you have a dog
Big, black, just like Dep
Remember the journey
Isn’t just one step

Let Me Live My Life

Let Me Live My Life

All the greed and control, all I want is to live my life
All the schemes taking toll, all I want is to live my life
All the fear depicted in the news, I just want to live my life
All the lies told within their views, I just want to live my life

The government that needs control, just let me live my life
The sheeple that they enrol, just let me choose my life
The greed of the very few elites, wanting to control my life
The lost souls, feeling defeat, wanting some kind of life

We as a people, must rise up against these foul entities
We are beginning to understand who are these enemies
We are starting to awaken to the terrible lies being told
We are starting to realize our humanity is being sold

You must realize we all have a part in this insane play
You and I standing together as one, we do have a say
We can end this insanity if we stand strong and tough
We as the human race can say stop, enough is enough
