With sparkling stars of gold
Make a wish, maybe it will change your destiny
The universe is enormously, find your own shiny amulet
Take a deep breath,
and never forget how blessed you are
Everything has a meaning
The stars shine for the whole world
You and me ~ rich and poor
In war and peace ~ with love and grace
Did you know ~ ... an adorable little secret;
The moon kiss each star goodnight

Let me tell you a story....
of a little girl who didn't want to be a Princess!!!!
it happened a long time ago, in the life of an adorable girl of seven,
who lived in the busiest humming city, enormously crowded.
a gentle dreamy-eyed girl, who chose secret corners to read,
and play with her cherished dolls' house, which her father built.
as it happened..her father found a job..and it was an idyllic countryside,
excitedly she followed family, felt fortunate to be close to nature.
a fairyland of her dreams, a picturesque hamlet surrounded by lush fields,
lived in a cottage encircled by a gorgeous garden, bird-songs, and swings.
she went to the village-school, which was a mere walking distance,
carrying her backpack, water bottle, and books she needed.
her father was the powerful manager of the local textile mill,
where most of the villagers worked, and earned their living.
all the children glanced at her as if she were a Princess,
but this soft dainty lass craved to be purely one of them.
she noticed...those children were walking barefoot to school,
no backpack, no bottle of water, no shiny expensive clothes.
end of the day, she returned home, and declared to her caring parents,
"I don't need the backpack, bottle for water, or the stylish shoes...
starting from tomorrow, I am going to walk to school barefoot"
her parents were shocked, but didn't disagree with her at all.
from the following day, the warm friendly girl of seven,
felt totally comfortable and undoubtedly right, with her decision.
all children were frolicking with her, no more was she a distant Princess,
she was their delightful friend...sharing the same life they had in the village.
she still remembers those eyes which sparkled with wonder at the way they were accepted,
a lifelong memory was created, the gesture kindled a feeling of oneness.

Above the sky
Is a dream
That comes to my
Distant shore.
Here's a little, formula ,
I hope all. Can
Endure.
Keep your dreams
Nurish them.
Compound it in
Your soul.
Seal it in a destiny
Box,
forever you Will hold.
Confine & patent it,
Replace it in your mind
Preserve & restore it
True love you, will find
Meditate, with prayers
Keep it refreshed,
Revived & new.
No matter how diminished
At times,
Dreams do follow through.
Let not age, gender, race or
Where your from.
Hinder you.
Never believe, for a second
Its unattainable.
Channel, create, & formulate
The self esteem, in you.
No matter how simply small
Or enormously big it may be.
Throw it in the stratosphere
For all the stars to see.
Memorize, emancipate, your
Own prophecy.
The destiny is self fullfilled
If only you believe.
Think with an open heart,
There's something, out there
To achieve.
Come in humble spirits,
It is there for you.
Keep dreams to yourself
Bind it to your core.
Never relinquish the dream
You have.
Keep it safe & secure.
This is the most important
Detail, I must say to you.
As selfish, as it may seem.
To hold a fragile dream in
Your palms,
Can be destroyed, before
It starts.
When verbally rendered
In the wrong hands
May take away that
Special chance.
For it is meant to be
Gods gracious gift,
Indefinitely
Created souly for you!!!

In the forest of my dreams
where Divine light shines through
Seeing prisms of spectacular beauty
of pinks, mauve and cornflower blue
The wind whispers through the trees
generating a sublime sweet tune
Gently blowing away all stressors
wrapping you in a blissful cocoon
Filtered sunlight will kiss your skin
Illuminating warmth will cleanse your soul
Filling you with peacefulness and love
making your being amazingly whole
Pungent smells will engulf your senses
exhilarating you from head to toe
While song birds a sweet melody
Euphoria in you will enormously grow
Please join me in my forest of dreams
let serenity fill the recesses of your heart
Your essence will be unbelievably renewed
My dream forest you'll never want to part

For long I have been an aimless vagabond
I strayed far, the world being enormously wide.
Traveling to lands foreign, I searched my fortune.
At the end, fed up with all that was alien,
And wishing to withdraw from the world’s bewildering stress,
Decided to set out in search of my roots and my people.
Parents dead, my faint connections with my folks were gone.
My ancestral home was occupied by my brother,
With whom I had hardly any correspondence.
But when I was choked by thoughts of my dear home
And the yearning to visit struck me as an irresistible urge,
Without second thoughts, I boarded a plane,
And headed to my native village with dreams many.
From far I saw my house perched high on a hill,
Dappled in grey, squinting across the field.
Nearing it, my heart began to beat in pounding thuds,
In the excitement of a reunion long overdue.
Alas! There was none to receive me, only some creepy spiders,
Busily spinning gossamer webs over closed windows
Its vacancy haunting me, I tried to ring the doorbell.
But the rusted contraption sat silent on the cracked wall.
What had happened to the family living here?
Have they migrated to some far-off place?
A hundred questions propped up in my mind.
Wished to ask someone, but seeing nobody around,
I stood silent in the weed grown courtyard for some more time.
I thought of the heydays of my life, with a deep yearning,
To run round the house once more as a child
And be under its shelter, to lie down and dream the dreams of old.
Everything looked so forlorn. Feeling suddenly orphaned,
My eyes got welled up with tears as never before.
Hesitant to chew the unpalatable truth that this house will no more board me,
Casting one last glance with a heart laden with memories,
I turned my back from that spectral home,
Which stood silent as a symbol of UNWRITTEN ABSENCE!

This potpourri is a redolent of our sweet memories
When you and I happily shared our love under those deciduous trees
Those fragrant petals and autumn leaves were gathered for you to keep
Bear in mind that my love for you will never fade; but, it’ll run so deep.
You will always be in my thoughts while I’m away
When I’m in the battlefield, you’ll always be in my heart to stay
You’ll be the source of my valor, strength and hope to be alive
You’re the only reason why I always dream to survive.
I’ll always remember those blissful moments when I’m with you
You always prepare my breakfast - one of the sweetest things you do
In our dining room, before you serve the meal for me
Center table is adorned with our sweet potpourri.
Oh, how lovely to see you one morning upon waking up
Your beauty I adore is celebrated outside in musical chirrups
In your beige hat, nice dress in billowing skirt with petticoat you wear
With your sister, those sweet potpourri – you lovingly share
Dining room was entirely filled with a morning grace
When sunshine peeps through the window pane, I see a glow on your face
An enlightenment I feel, for I know your melancholy soon to vanish
When the curtains wave, I’m here my love -- don’t feel any anguish.
The picture of you, I paint it enormously in my mind and heart
When the sky dims, it will be my only hope to look at
As every bit of tiny leaves and petals dispel their fragrance into the air
Inhale and feel deep in your heart my everlasting love and care.

Note:
This is a poem dedicated to George Dunlop Leslie. He is really one of the great painters. I admire him and I’m so impressed with his awesome paintings. I thank our dear friend, Isaiah for sharing him with us /me and his works. He truly inspired me to write this poem especially by one of his paintings, Potpourri. I imagined myself as the lady on his painting. i: )))))

Show You the Way
Isle of Man much history it is full of
Has often been called island of love
No matter where on or is your stance
Island is completely full of romance.
In between everywhere is well situated
When there will be enormously elated
If on enchanted island either close or far
Pretty people an added plus they all are.
God, great becoming island did make
So perfect and never made a mistake
Even if off course or may be astray
To Isle of Man God will show you the way.

This dream that human cherish so much
as the night cherish the stars,
yet it is all but vanity.
Flocks of people upon the flattered twin
that enormously opened, lead to hell.
As the days chameleon to nights
each person moves to his grave.
Devoid of contentment wrapped reality
the pure land, having angels in pure white:
a little drifting therein.
Death: impetus that reminds of the real home,
yet the lost ones within take it as just play.
whereas the tiny thread only function once.
Unless eyes be opened in the real world
so that they will know, here is all a dream.

Carrots for breakfast, carrots for lunch, Carrots for dinner, crunch, baby, crunch.
What are your immediate feelings about soup on a plate?
Vegetable and broccoli potato are both well worth a wait.
Don’t gag on the mushrooms,
You big ugly buffoons.
Crunch them up meticulously slowly, and good luck,
Don’t be afraid of disease, though they’re grown in the muck.
Pudding for dessert,
Who would, you blurt.
Oh, sorry, I mean, what’s that you say?
You could eat pudding any ole’ day?
Enjoy your leisurely dine,
And eat your pudding refined.
Chocolate, caramel and pistachio.
They are all stirred up warmly nice and slow.
Delicious delicacies on paper is a poet’s go-to write,
Everyone loves to think about taking an enormously tasty bite.
Spaghetti, pizza, meat loaf too.
All main dishes for me and you.
Hamburger, egg salad, smeary and good.
I’d eat it all up and be completely satisfied if I could.

If I were an igloos I would be different than the others,
more flamboyant.
Painted in rainbow colors,
I would play hip hop music, and I would wear
a colorful, feathered boa, sprinkled with glitter.
There would be loudness,
And frenzied dancing, possibly screaming,
Especially after the polar bears begin
Stalking my inhabitants
which would be pretty easy to find
in the whiteness of Alaska,
Thanks to the loudness of my songs
And my rainbow colors,
And my enormously wonderful
feathered boa, with the glitter shining.
I would have rapid changeover,
trading family after family,
Possibly switching to jazz or bluegrass,
but keeping the boa until it finally blows away on its own.

Personification
They surrounded the house and we were terrified
Because they looked different, magnified.
Some wore smiles, others mean as a rusty nail.
What are they? Our children whispered in their ale.
Pterodactyls I told them. No worries at all.
But their mouths are enormously long, creepy and tall.
Let’s go out and see why they are here. Do not be afraid.
Their demands were easy. Chocolate cake and pink lemonade.
I made them their cake but the only drink I had was tea.
That is okay their leader said, nice as he could be.
They look odd my children said. How can we be friends?
Every day chances for life’s lesson simply never ends.
Within a week each one of my children had a best friend bird.
Pterodactyls in the house no longer seemed absurd.
They stayed ten years and became family members we love.
In the spring we get excited when we see giant wing shadows above.

Junk can become a enormously problem
Mountain of cheap and meaningless things
Hoarding disorder is a mental illness
Collecting junk because
they may be useful in the future
Narrow smelly paths cut through the house
walls of junk up to the roof
In this home love was born
The room where they were sisters
cozy they curl together
Walls with floral wallpaper
has been crumbled away
Things grow from the basement roots
grew larger and larger every day
Nobody finds the dining table
eats cold pizza on the floor

After the evolution of fire,
Man’s wise discovery for survival
Was the indispensible culture
Of raising crops.
It came through their ancestors,
They created fields of happiness.
Albeit accurate in their perspective of culture,
They were unaware of the modern complications,
But they believed their culture and worshiped it.
The men were a collision of knowledge and tradition.
The emergence of modern period has viewed agriculture
as an economic activity.
But the men had become an inspiration for the youth.
Their hard work has served the nation enormously.
But the country left them with no land
And dearth of them is the worst.
Their successful revolutions had led to victory,
History holds their strive,
As long as we realise their importance,
We would thrive!
A tribute to farmers..............

Prose Poetry
At the end of the elated visit
Around the mind moving marble mausoleum -Taj Mahal
I was unconvinced to leave and got a place to sit
As excited to enjoy the environment, withal
It was the inside on the right, near the main entrance
Just before the famous ‘visitors bench’
from where visitors pose, with faces full of romance
As a monumental memory, though the fire won’t quench
I was seated at a comfortable distance
To watch this mankind’s magnificent marble marvel
My mind churned the charm, inch by inch
With visitors from the entire globe, lining after a long travel
Of all colors, gathering was the crowd of tourist
With dressing styles that were, to this land, new
My emotions of excitement, I could not resist
Their expression of ecstatic too, none knew
Flocking was also the beeline of photographers
With the face of everyone, full of excitement
Earnestly everyone was immersed, as none bothers
None can forget in life, this joyful moment
Distracted my ‘dream-like-reality’ was an eagle
He was flying low, short rounds over the main dome
Over his unusual behavior, into me, I did giggle
He returned after two short rounds, as it was awesome
He now flied directly to the Finial – Islamic moon symbol atop
He sat over the Finial, as if he came to chat with me
A new relationship between us began to develop
I enormously enjoyed this ecstatic and wondered to watch the game
Joy or grief never lasts for longer
As he could not sit there comfortably
As the edges seems sharper and stronger
My friend was forced to fly away, inevitably
This play of this eagle, perhaps I only noticed
Perhaps only towards me, He sat to chat
Taj as universal ‘symbol of love’ is highly placed
The joy of watching the eagle too, a tantalizing treat!

You're My Little Princess Alison and I am your "Uncle" Billy.
I'm your most humble and loyal servant and I shall forever continue to be.
I may be your "Uncle" Billy but you're also my son's little baby sister.
I always have and I will continue to see you as My Daughter from another mister.
I remember it as if it were yesterday. You were born and joined all of us in this world.
Never before had my eyes gazed upon such a precious and sweet little girl.
I have many cherished memories of all the time we have shared alone
at the park, zoo and aquarium. All those week end sleep overs at my home.
There are many times I can't see you as much as I'd love to.
I would if I could but I've responsibilities I must attend to.
There isn't a moment that goes by that you aren't lovingly thought of.
You've enriched my life enormously with so much happiness, joy and love.
One day you'll become a grown woman. I have no doubt you'll enjoy much success,
but forever to me you will always be My Precious Sweet Alison. My Little Princess.
Forever Loving You,
Your "Uncle" Billy
