Premium Member Saints and Demons On Halloween

On the eve of All Saints Day known as Halloween
We've a night where nothing is ever as it seems

Abraham, Martin and John hosted a grand ball
In heaven’s huge castle, a white marble town hall

Dancing and singing just like every other day
One old soul grew weary of celebrating this way

She found nothing special in the harps and trumpets
A more exciting venue she had come to covet

St. Peter partied, his gate was unattended
So to a room below the bored soul descended

A place where heavy metal was all the rave
Deadheads converged to stomp violently on graves

She was tempted to join in their revelry
As demons eyed her with curious envy

One grabbed her halo, howled when it burned his hands
Others confronted her with obscene demands

Only then did she recall escaping this place
When God sacrificed his son, mortal sin to erase

Although hands of the wicked tried to hold her down
She struggled, pushed forward and made her way uptown

Fearfully she cried while knocking on heaven’s gate
St. Peter found her in this emotional state:

“Why didn’t you learn to resist temptation,
During your tenuous Earthly incarnation?”

At a loss for an answer, she pled for mercy
And Peter felt inclined to deem her unworthy

But the Master heard her prayers, granted a reprieve
He blessed her and uttered, “Welcome home again, Eve.”

Her departure from Eden seemed so long ago
And now most certainly one thing she did know

She should have stuck with Adam when he first said, “No”
Instead of bobbing for apples with the demons below

Poetry Palace

Poetically poised on a dainty hill
Overlooking ever blue seas
Eagerly awaiting this surreal ILLUSION
Turrets made of imaginative calligraphy
Ruins that echo CREATIVITY
Yearning to belong in this poetic home

Paddle your toes in the moat of letters
Allowing the INFUSION of words to make a sentence
Listen to beautiful melodic lyrics in the great hall
Attic of ancient and famous sonnets ghostly sing
Carrying you EVENTUALLY to high emotional state
Ending up, it's INEVITABLE that you live forever on the dainty hill

The Virus

The Virus

An island called Tacloban
Is ravaged by Haiyan
This fateful day of November
The weather is not tender
Wind whispers destruction
Rain writes annihilation.

But that is not the good news!
Rather, it is the virus!
The altruism virus!
Everyone is infected!
Good vibes is injected!
This virus is contagious!
People are courageous!
To get out of their way
To help others be ok.

The symptoms of this virus are these:
Concern for others seize them
Restlessness is also shown
They go out and brave the harsh wind and rain
So they can bring to safety other men
Fatigue, headaches, muscle aches they feel soon after
But they do not mind and just dismiss it with laughter
Intense emotional state of joy they harbor
For they come to help their neighbor.

Facebook posting is an addiction
Not for “selfie-ing” satisfaction
But to urge people to help
And give information about relief
Self-emptying is their mantra
While folding clothes of various genres
To be delivered to relief centers
That soon will reach the shelters
All these happen when the virus is within.

Yes, the virus is one-of-a-kind!
It is not seasonal; it does not go with the wind
It is like a mining in the heart
Gripped with it increases care chart
We can even say this has become chronic
For until now people are altruistic.

Note: Haiyan caused immeasurable damage to Leyte & Samar islands in the Philippines last November 8, 2013. However, the world showed compassion for the victims in grand and little ways. In the islands, though they were victims themselves, lots of stories of generosity and altruism were told. The rest of the Filipino people were moved out of their comfort zones and did their part. Indeed, people are innately good!

Emotional Roller-Coaster

Words run a race
Inside my head
My heart quickens pace
Inside my chest

This roller-coaster brings no thrill
To my emotional state
My thoughts run fast but I stand still
In these hectic days

Goodbye My Friend Till We Meet Again

In the school, we played together.
The celebration of life we lived together.
All the years yearning for a better life.
You were the true treasure of our life.
That we will never take it for a ride.
Goodbye, our dear friend.

Though the magical hand of God came early,
But we always loved you dearly.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
Forever shall we miss that part of you,
And sing how graceful you were.
Goodbye, our dear friend.

Your love and compassion is still our guide.
Your world is as tall as your soul is wide.
Wherever you wonder, you will find us there,
In our heart, you remain the rose,
So, shall we keep our prayers in your absence.
Goodbye, our dear friend.

I wish I had a book of life in my hands.
I wish I could give you more years.
I wish I could erase all our tears.
I wish I could whisper to you in your ears,
And tell you how kind you were.
Goodbye, our dear friend.

You left us in a sorry and emotional state.
We are wounded our dear friend.
We know it wasn’t your time.
We know you hadn’t finished the race,
But we shall always treasure you.
Goodbye, our dear friend.

We know we’ll never see you again,
But we shall rejoice in memories you gave us,
Through all the years you walked with us,
The pain and tears you took from us,
We shall always remember you as one of us.
Till we meet again in the serenity of our Lord.
Goodbye, our dear friend.

Where Evil Begins

Where Evil Begins

Since the beginning of time, evil has existed in the world.
It started with Abel and Cain. Cain committed the first
murder by killing his brother Abel.

The question is - how and why does it start? Could it be that
we are born with something evil inside of us already? Just think
of some of the women that have committed evil acts through out
history.

We could say that women start the fire and men try to put it out.
We know that there have been men that have committed mess
murders, like Hitler and other war criminals, not to mention others
that have gone down in history.

A lot of women have also committed a lot of horrendous crimes.
there have also been a lot of young people that have committed
horrible crimes. They have killed innocent people and sometimes
there parents too. Some parents have also killed their children.

Where does evil start and how does it begin? Let us talk about
women. A woman is known to be the master of manipulation. She
can get into the mind, heart and soul of a man, his mind to find his
 weakness.

She can enter his heart like poison to control his emotional state.
She can also enter his soul to posses, who he is inside. So people -
beware of what you might think is a trophy, or grand prize that you
have won. You might be headed on a road straight to HELL.

I don't say that all men, or women are bad. We just have to know how
to choose. I am not an expert, but I do know that good will always win
over evil...

Knocked Down Then I Get Up Again

Not born of fault but
purely down to chance
Each personal plight
leads troublesome dance

External factors
genes lifestyle and age
Start this desperate
denial why me stage

Physical, mental
emotional state
Well being affects
all those who relate

Sciences detect
deliver quicker
Families worry
don't want you sicker

You know your treatment
comes down to finance
Health Board decisions
can influence chance

It's a lottery
chancing your name
But worry and stress
can be nobody's game

Families concerns
of financial front
Do they need stop work
Help shoulder the brunt

Genetics play part
in medical scare
Lots to consider
maybe long term care

If image altered
will folk notice it
How long till I'm clear
Will my clothes still fit

So many questions
about all cancer's
They may not know now
But they'll find answers

Two Halves Make a Whole

We both loved someone, who ripped us in half,
A fraction of our heart, is what we have.

We've tried so many times, to fix the break,
Only to make the glass more jagged, in our wake.

We've fought so hard, to recreate,
We've put at risk, our emotional state.

We've known each other, for so long,
And probably only sometimes thought, we belong.

These two halves, we both hold,
Let's put them together, and make a whole!

I promise I'll be loyal, and you do too,
We only have one heart, if we break it, we'll be through.

Through my heart, the words found their way,
As I anticipate, what you will say.

Motive and Thoughts Prt 1

This is a story of a farmer

Who became an informer…

Displacement of this farmer

Was heartless, by a round belly

Robbing a Skinny belly

In a rock steady

See for any story

The context is essential

Like motivation,

An emotional state

Is the presence of stimuli

A thought ……..

But in this instance

There was no resistance

And the diction

Was nonfiction

But a contradiction

Of intuition..

To take ride of humiliation

And bear the scars of crucifixion……………..

Dirty Tricks Liar Wh a Mirror Tax Production Slam

I am watching liar
Go from tears to grace
With the same indistinguishable sallow face
And emotional state of fluxed empathy
The frown conceals
Beneath the brow of dirty tricks
Without a flicker
To wake's each day ever slicker
More experienced in the dark arts
His twisted seed imparts
On plundered heart's
Guilt and Shame
While he remains
In an impenetrable bubble
Distanced from the trouble
The court's denied
A jury of one's peers
From mouth to ears
In the defendants chair
And the media glare
As a lie is caught
And the jury can not be bought
Better late than never
But the Devil is clever
And he doesn't accept no as an answer
Ask his victim's
He doesn't adhere to the system
He prey's on it
As his power enabled it

She Hurts

She cries herself to sleep and wonders why
She says everyday, all I do is try
She can't take the pain or heartache, it's time to walk away
She hurts to bad to try and stay
She has loved him for what seems like an eternity and her heart has to pay

He doesn't know how she hurts, even when it's in black and white
Written across the sky and in plain site

She hurts from the pain of love
She hurts for what she can't touch
Sometimes it's overbearing, overwhelming, it's just to much

She doesn't know where to go
She doesn't know what to feel
Is love really, real or just a day dream that little girl has created
It's just an emotion she longs to feel

Twisted into a dysfunction of confusion, distorted illusions, blurring her vision
She tries to stay focused but he distracts her with his promises and delusions

She hurts from the pain of love
She hurts for what she can't touch
Sometimes it's overbearing, overwhelming, it's just to much

Her emotional state is to hard to control, the pain feels like a ton of bricks crushing her
soul. Words from songs brings out the better of her emotional expressions but do they
hear what she has to say
No one may ever feel her pain or ever understand

She's jumping off this moving train that's no where bound
She's cutting those controlling strings that has tied her down
She wants to float free to control her own destiny

She doesn't want to hurt from the pain of love
She doesn't want to hurt from what she can't touch
She wants love to be overbearing, overwhelming, thats a pain she wants to touch

My Beautiful Mistake

I’m flooded with thoughts; rain couldn’t wash away my tears.

Pain has over ran me, though it doesn’t control me.

It’s not a win or lose situation, I am lost, unguided and left blinded, uncertain of the right path to take. Leaving me to be the perfect human; making many mistakes.
I have thoughts with high hopes to leave them forgotten as I have. A powerful part of me told me to walk away; My Heart isn’t able to express the correct words to say the things that I need, or the proper times to what I have been feeling. I’m having trouble understanding why I have been feeling this way. Another emotional state that has me focused on deeper thoughts forced with blurred visions of her walking, displaying her up lifting smile, it’s hard for me to awaken from my day dreams; she once touched me, brining me back to this reality. Hugged and held me tight without the time to react, knowing this was a beautiful mistake and I would never trade it even if it meant the pain would stop. I held her closer.

Anyone can say that they understand, I’m left with my own UN judgmental thoughts of this situation. I know what I’m feeling; I know the meaning to my own questions even without the answers. I was left with them for a reason, to embrace my mistakes no matter how beautiful.

Health Care Providers Need Hiatus

Handling hoards of patient everyday
Each depressed ,fearing death
Asking same questions

Colleagues dying, patients dying
Death lurking in the corner
Not sure of own fate

A hectic schedule since more than a year
Physically tired, mentally exhausted
It is not easy still they continue to serve

Full time PPE, mask on
Handling patients with patience
Working selflessly, sincerely without hiatus

Think about them.
Their physical and emotional state.
Be empathic

Follow social distancing,
Wear mask, sanitize hands
Don't go out until required

If all take precautions covid will end!
Then happily we can take a hiatus
A much needed vacation!

Defining

Cancer may redefine your life
or cause you to do so

but it does not define you

It is not you, by definition
in fact it is the anti-you

It may invade, destroy, usurp
	your physical self
may distort, cloud, hijack
	your mind
may jaundice and weaken
	your emotional state

but it does not touch your spirit
	cannot affect your soul
