Elemental

you spin
the elements of your life
in a vacuum

coiled
like a snake
in perpetual hibernation

no light
no truth
no reason

no soft air
to touch you

inside

where living weeps
to unwind itself

to begin feeling

something
anything

the one thing
needed to unravel
its lonely existence-

a touch
of selflessness

how do you do it
I wonder -

survive

not knowing
how to give

or receive

the easiest moments
of every day

ELEMENTAL DESIGN

Hydrogen to Helium
A fusion formed by gravity
A carbon-based delirium
Molecularly infinite energy

An ancient discipline known as alchemy
We’re consciousness - the explosion - amorous
We dream of gold from lead and mercury
Fueled reaction in copper with phosphorus
A universal age of prosperity

Bismuth bath. Deficient of iron and zinc
Astronautic laugh – last shine of hope
Nuclear decay –enlightened way – elemental - instinct
Scientific – logical clay – gaseous isotope.

The fluoride, we drink?
Humanity on the pivotal brink

The edge, a precipice.

Lanthanides and actinides
Metals and mysteries.
Shrink down to atomic scale
Our intellect – an accelerated history
Reality?
A holographic projection
Radioactive expansion
A gravitational trajectory

Inertia

Precious pavonine pearl
Our planet, our world.
A place all our elements may inhabit
Terrestrially unique. Diverse and intelligent
The push of inertia
The pull of gravity
The spin of an atom
The spin of our galaxy.

The end.

Premium Member Elemental Earth

Earth's rich soil
humble dirt
complex dirt
elemental earth
layer upon layer
where it hides
mineral treasures
more than we could
ever measure.

Quartz and crystals
gold and gems
salt and silver
precious oil
stolen and lifted
by hands of men.

Rumbling from the
bowels of earth
hot magma rises
erupts and flows
spews and plummets
to lands below.

Mother earth
source of life
for plants and trees
roots run deep
thirstily searching
to seek and find
precious fountains
hidden waters
sublime.

There are hidden
secrets within
earth's crust
where we have come
from within it's dust
where God has formed
our earthly frame
where to dust
we'll return again.

Premium Member Penelopina Teena

Penelopina Teena had a birthday today,
in faerie years she's a whopping 9008!
It's such a celebration as you have never seen
was held for this tiny white petite faerie queen.

A firefly has gifted her with the finest moon dust,
for faerie magic it's such powerful fine stuff.
Faerie chef Bengali Blue made fluffy cupcakes
with Venetian icing white, pink and blue all fresh baked.

An amethyst mirror gifted by Lil'miss Teak Breeze
was framed in the finest of gold and Elvin antiqued.
Jiminy Jack presented her with great berries gold,
from his orchard full of candied sweetness, full and bold.

Faerie Wa'di de Pella, a kindly fella
brought her a fine cookbook of treats rich with vanilla.
Dragonflies came with some light homemade Sliverene cream
for which to polish Teena's fine elemental wings.

A spider played Happy Birthday on its' web of silk,
while faerie Frank Fennell poured all, coconut milk.
A band of pipers and trumpeters played in bird nest;
all offerings were presented with such joyous zest.

Birds and bugs of all species danced throughout the whole night
to mesmerizing music, such a superb delight.
As the moon bid adieu to the late partying crowd,
the celebrants vanished in a crystal mushroom cloud.

Elemental Love

Blue evening dress
Topographical cleavage
Nurturing mother

Father Sky reigns high
Soft touch on her horizon

Her head covered with
A wintery Arctic scarf
With white pumps to match

He caresses her
His radiant passion flames
Heating up her womb

Encompassing her with love
Warm and cold climatic touch

His breath cools her skin
Tenderly moistening earth
Life springs from within

Premium Member Primordial Soup an Elemental Enigma

Everyone is a blended mixture of
Elementals made up of
Oxygen, carbon,
Hydrogen, nitrogen,
Calcium, phosphorus, and…
Trace elements
A divine recipe, perhaps?

Some are yet to be born
Some are young,
Some are old.
Some are people of color,
Some are people who lack color.
Some speak one language
Some speak many tongues.
Some are social
Some are antisocial.
Some are healthy
Some are sick.
But what am I?

Some are poor
Some are middle-class
Some are rich.
Some believe in God
Some sense a higher design
Some aren’t sure
Some are atheists.
Some are extroverts
Some are introverts.
Who am I?

Some live on farms
Some live in suburban communities
Some live in towns and cities.
Some live off the grid
Some are liberal
Some are moderate
Some are conservative.
How shall I live?

Some are loving
Some are joy-filled
Some are hate-filled.
Some want peace
Some want a cause
Some want war.
Some want to destroy
Some want to mend
Some want to kill
Some want to heal.
Should I matter?
Should I not?
What are my choices?

Everybody dies…

But do I truly live?
In this vast simplexity of humanity
Or am I more than the sum of the parts?
Or am I just a glitch of stardust
Or a spark of the divine?

Momentarily aware
Yet, unaware
Forever in BlueJeans…
Forever questioning?

It's Elemental

Earth is our home
                created with love.
                Honor it.

                 Air is our freedom
                 to think and create.
                 Breathe deeply.

                 Fire is the love
                 that burns within us.
                 Live with passion.

                 Water is life
to all creatures big and small.
                 Drink it up.

Bone Lady

Bone Lady.

Pippa Gray

If you have come for romance, please leave.
Follow the fireflies and they will lead you
back through the woods, to your manmade path.
There is no sweetness or solace here.
I am a thunderstorm, a fierce force of nature.
My heart is a patchwork quilt of tattered skins,
Hand stitched with lengths of bloodied sinew.

I shall decline your perfumes and silken robes.
For I have my bones.
I throw them upon my thighs and listen
as they whisper of your future.
The dark to come,
Creeping in through the corners, from all directions,
To disturb the parts of you, that you refuse to examine.

As for necklaces or gold
I have no time for tin trinkets.
My jewels are mustika pearls,
Dug with my hands from the corpses of snakes and foals, from red fox remains and oak tree roots. As I roll them in my palm,
their spirits share secrets such as you'll never know.

There's no polite conversation in this space.
Tell me of your descent into madness,
Where your mind wandered through worlds
not known in your pleasant awareness.
Where your limbs were torn apart by
winged shadow creatures,
Who devoured your flesh.

Do not ask to stay the night.
For salamanders sleep with me,
Gliding through the embers of the fire,
caressing my skin with their warm licking tongues.
And my journeys to the other worlds
are not to be disturbed by lonely, snoring men.

I am not to be rescued or conquered.
For I am vast, unchained...
Indeed, freer than you could ever hope to be!
You there, shrinking, stinking in your self imposed conformity,
while you weep at night for the lost parts of your soul.
They flew, my friend!
To be with the talking swans in the faery glen,
Where they could live the life that they deserved...
I spoke with them in the lowerworld!
And they do not wish to be returned to you anytime soon!

So leave quickly while you can.
Return to the old sprung bed where you were born,
Before you are forever changed
by the reflection in my eyes.
For once awoken,
You can never sleep soundly again.

Witches, whom to say they don’t exist within the physical
Plain here on earth, maidens of the mystic arts of olden craft,
Dwelling beneath the elliptical moon of transitions shifting,
Living within the shadows of incantations unbroken spells
Of the past!
Damsels birthed beneath the oracles marking of the third
Eyes ethereal dimension, profits magi of the elemental,
Earth, wind, fire, water and air, these the guardians
Of the hidden magic within all living matter, both for
The seen and unseen raw forces of ultimate power!
Amongst this the season of the earthen dead,
These eyes of clarity’s shine, to the sheen of brilliance,
Dipping within the pools of illumination, the stirring
Caldron pot of fortune is uplifted, upwards towards the skies
Of the foretelling, behold the wicked crafts of the
 Alchemists charmed.
At the flicker light of the green candle bents in the winds of destiny,
The dousing rod of fate is shone, as the crystal ball flame burns
Brightly against the night, held tightly is the covenant
Hands embraced within this mystical sisterhood and
Brotherhood, the shadows of darkness past ideally
By, for the earth balance must be kept on both
Ends level, the light and the darkness of spiritualism!
As the solid megaliths of Stone Hedge stand tall against
The setting suns horizon, echoes float from the farthest
Edges of the planet, a mystical rhythm of ancient times
Sounds thumping, with the natural essence of life itself,
As the earth witches of the world unite in this winter
Solstice of the season of the dead!
Within the circling orbs of reality, a twilight duality
Exists within the realm of the ethereal on a higher
Plain of knowledges recognition, and the reader
In the light of spiritualism, shines in the afterglow
Of the beyond his or hers physical awareness, a fifth
Sighted seeker, the gifted physic, or magi of the
Humanistic soul!
Witches, whom to say they don’t exist within the physical
Plain here on earth, maidens of the mystic arts of olden craft,
Dwelling beneath the elliptical moon of transitions shifting,
Living within the shadows of incantations unbroken spells
Of the past!

Elemental Fire

From grand supernova to tiny spark
Infinitesimal to infinite
Releasing raw power from cold and dark
Evanescent bloom, life glows animate

Bright conflagration’s transient glory
And steady burn driving the world's engine
Flame’s warm light on pages of a story
Glowing, ardent blaze of lovers' passion

Our stolen gift, from great Prometheus
Provoking Zeus’ eternal, scorching wrath
Guide and protector, from time’s dawn with us
Beating wolves and Reaper back down the path

White hot lotus flower blooms within me
My inflamed spirit burning to be free

The element of fire in one’s birth sign
Connotes a person zealous and upright.
Goal-oriented, with desire to win,
He thrives on challenges; for truth he’ll fight!

The person “grounded” (element of earth),
Is prudent, stable and reliable.
He’s good with business and enjoys it when
His senses are aroused; he’s physical!

The element of air, that of the seer,
Is given him with quickness of the mind.
The great communicator keeps informed;
To self-appraisal also he’s inclined!

A bearer of good will who serves mankind
Is he with water’s sign. Emotions flow.
He freely gives, but then when he is hurt,
He’s shy and rarely lets that feeling show.

Four elements known as Triplicities -
Each representing three astrologies!*

NOTE: Everyone probably has a little bit of each
element in his astrological chart because one is born
with his sign in the moon and in all the other planets in
addition to the sun (one‘s main astrological sign); however,
some people have a preponderance or even a lack of one
or more elements in their charts, and that is what makes us
all different.

*Fire represents Leo, Aries and Sagittarius
*Earth represents Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn
*Air represents Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius
*Water represents Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces

Blinded by the lightening flash, running from the thunder
Clash, a hail storms hurricane burns within me, oh am I
Lost in the eye of your wake, a single powder cloud set adrift,
Amongst your currents of insurgence, I’m powerless.
An earth elemental, torn upwards against my will,
A heavenly ascender, rocking in the atmosphere,
Swaying between the light waves of the earth and sky.
A piratical of living energy, clinging upon the tears
Of mine own emotions inertia, for raw forces life
Support.
Nay spiritual resistance is futile, against your loves
Passionate storm that beckons unto me, dearest
Feel the electrical threads connecting us, lighting up
God’s kingdom admits the divine nimbus fields of white.
Come hither meld thy moisture with my fire, and let us
Merge together, forming elemental giants, torrents
Tornado's, brushing against the vaults of heaven.
Swirling erotic demon’s suspended in mid-air,
Uniting in complete abandonment’s liberal freedom,
Amongst the atmosphere, kindred spirits dancing
A vaporous waltz of mists desirer's.
At the apex of our climate unisons, within the
Heights of the heights divides, I’m rudely severed,
Tossed into a devotional free fall, as the echoing voices
Of pleasures commandments thrash against the cloud
Mountains.
In silences moments of frozen rapture, I do so lie
Upon the cold earthen ground, a tattered shadow
Of innocence abandonment, as the waves of an
Wakening dreamer, washes over my battered flesh.
Thinly the pressure front passes ideally by me,
The cruel sun pierces through the black embrace
That had entangled my inner being.
But I can see his rainbow smiling down upon me,
I can feel his soft breezes winds brushing, caressing
My blackened tresses, I’m here for thee, in dreams
Illusions kingdom of the night, and at flights fancy,
We've collide again, for we are the elemental giants,
Passions divine spirits of a mightier storm, called love.

Elemental Witch

Earth
 Dirt pours between my fingers
 my energy returns
Steady as the ground beneath me
 Send a prayer to Demeter

Air
Cool breeze runs across my face
Look to the clouds, float gently across the sky
I feel like the swift sparrow through the leaves
 Send my joy to Khaos

Water
Freely flow through streams and rivers
To you I am pulled, a calm when you are near
A steady drip of water, one day my cup will fill
 Poseidon has sent for me

Fire
 Draws me to it's warmth
Turns my calm to a quick temper
but away from it, my back will never be
 I call out to Hestia

They call me to walk my Wiccan path
In their hands my spirit will ever be

Elemental Lover

(from The John Poems)

My lover is the wind
One moment sighing a gentle caress,
The next, a hardened batterer
I cannot stand against.

He is fire
Bestowing light and warmth
Then raging, consuming
Leaving destruction in his wake.

My lover is the ocean that soothes
With eternal rhythm;
He is the killer wave erasing all
That stands in his way.

He is the earth that nurtures
And coaxes life from rock
Only to tremble and shake
And swallow what it has given.

My lover:
     my architect,
     my destroyer.
