Premium Member My Soul, You Need To Turn To God

My backslidden soul*, you were converted by GOD’s Word
As shown by your divine growth and testimony ’s record,
But you departed away from that great spiritual cord
Broken by worldly financial and material sword.
Turn to God Who rescues by His grace He can afford!

My prodigal soul, you were so blessed greatly
As the Lord provided for you tremendously,
But you neglected sound principles biblically
That caused your moral downfall fatally.
Turn to God Who can restore you fully!

My wayward soul, you were known to be Christ-honoring
As evidenced by your heavenly walk and divine bearing,
But you embraced humanistic doctrines so devouring,
Making you proud, yet continuing in miserable erring.
Turn to God Who can transform you be God-fearing!

My discouraged soul, you were before an example of zealousness
As seen in your conviction for godly standards and uprightness,
But you despised God’s presence and defied His holiness
While taking for granted prayer and Bible’s effectiveness.
Turn to God Who can bring you to His righteousness!

My unfaithful soul, you were then fulfilling the Great Commission
As proven by your mission-minded pursuits, filled with compassion,
But you failed to stay in the ancient landmarks of faith’s action
By compromising with secularism and liberalism’s motion.
Turn to God Who can plant you on His firm foundation!

My wavering soul, you were a guide to them who found real freedom
As told by those who owe to Christ thru you what they’ve become,
But you forgot the real source of genuine authority and wisdom
When you abandoned the only Way to heavenly kingdom. Turn to God Who invites that to Him you humbly come!

My dear soul, you surely need God with His forgiveness and guidance
As He alone can surely lift you up from your critical imbalance,
Beg on Him to uphold you on His church’s scriptural stance
And to behold you with His loving care by His divine glance.
Turn to God Who can pull you for revival’s sustenance!

*Psalm 6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

The Old Hand Saw

...for Ted Kooser

A reminder of my father;
more antique than useful it was tucked
inside my tool box ever ready to be used.
Soaped and sharpened many times
the blade was keen and hungry.
I took it with me everywhere
'til pure gave way to power,
and through the years it waited,
I could never give it up.
The skilsaw superseded; a cold,
efficient implement that did as it was told,
never a slip. As my effectiveness
fell short, my eyes became unsure,
my hands bore witness to the times
I slipped and sliced until I bled
when choosing my old friend.
Museum pieces, he and I,
both worn and put away;
I still recall the touch, the feel,
the smell of yesterday.

Premium Member Endless Adoration

Since my life started on earth, I've felt coziness.
You gave me your Infinite joy, vigor, and gladness
You surrender everything and raise your eagerness.
Everything infers that will ruin me of the richness.

Amid day and night, You pour me with your tenderness
My label gathers you with prompt expeditiousness.
At the point when you embrace me, I will fix my bitterness.
My spirit will limitless hold your adoration and kindness.

Your unbroken zeal and your life's aims were spotless.
If you banish, my everlasting love will be boundless.
I'm upset for the occasions I've driven you to sadness.
It is cruel to deny how your caregiving was bottomless.

I can't reestablish your affection's fine effectiveness.
Despite all my defects, your adoration for me was faultless.
I've understood that your affection for me is deathless.
Your adoration for eternal scopes offers me mindfulness.

I love you, Mom. My adoration for you is endless.

Premium Member Words of Truth

There is a real special attraction
about truthful words that fully convey
a powerful force draws one close
being encaptured so you must there stay

Lies are a real waste indeed
not having the same impact at all
they've got little effectiveness to work
for it's ignored when you call

The word truth has a special ring
it draws you in, holds you close
proving to you its sacred rightness
giving a love that instantly shows

A great ambition to have in life
to tell the truth every single time
achieve this and you'll change things
in this world forever over crime

Too many in our day love to lie
not realizing God hears all they say
so keep on the right side of truth
especially God's truth forever and a day

(This is written about my favorite subject which in my case is truth in all its various forms.)

Testing Deoxyribonucleases

I should have listened to my nieces,
they said it would fall into pieces,
when the temperature decreases.
Then all those dirty rats and meeses,
will crawl in through the cracks and creases,
and its effectiveness then ceases.

Divergent viewpoints can arise
Whilst triumphant variously savor
Glorious tune of achievement,
Gain glory as godly guile
Whilst booming into spring blooms
In fervor of zeal, vow faithfully
God bestows on them a swish tree
With a bountiful harvest
Its span is boundless
Akin to an everlasting ring,
However, clocks tick down
Daily weavings of divine honor.

Amidst lustrous obelisk
Unbeknown overall aesthetic
Sprawled across stars haze
My cosmic frame oozes to apex
I harness the strand in crimson
Widening warp and woof
Over that magnificent loom
Queries seldom yield effectiveness,
Sadness for their plight emerged
In bows and flowery swags
We ought to remember
Fetching a fresh format forward
Divine devotion developed.

We could detect tangles and flaws
Fairness shares justice and equity
The quest implies grace and faith,
A gorgeous layout with a top-ounce
We are haughtily proud,
Divine is eternally supreme
His work never stops, and
His weaving is always wise,
But we must remember that
We are an essential portion of it.

Let us embrace each day
As a raw opportunity to weave
A Halcyon design
With dedication and patience
We can grow the warp and woof
Over that majestic loom
Until we blossom, akin to flowers.

Doubt

Doubt that the sky is blue,
That wishes upon a star come true,
Doubt that the sun is black,
That on the moon one can walk,
Doubt magic,
The effectiveness of a metal toothpick,
Doubt that pain is love
but never doubt that I Love.

Premium Member Mister Quick Fix

They call me Mr. Quick Fix.
I’m everywhere, in every school.
Over 400,000 of me in classrooms across the country.
Yet there’s minimal data on my effectiveness.
For this reason, among others, some call me Mr. Quagmire.
Here I am, the “least qualified, lowest paid” providing the “bulk of instruction.”
On top of that, I am rarely supervised, barely trained, and minimally vetted
While at the same time considered the “first, primary, and…only support response” for the student .
My student’s father calls me Mr. Godsend.
Distrusting of the school staff, I am his child’s protector
From any negative judgement bestowed upon the child by peer or adult.
The direct pipeline of communication often goes through me,
Not the head teacher, who sometimes refers to me as Mr. Why Didn’t You Tell Us That Earlier?
Some even call me Mr. Anything. Or Mr. Wing-It.
One day I may work with small groups beyond my assigned student.
Other days I’m creating lesson plans with no oversight.
I try not to question these practices, or lack of policy and procedures with regards to my role.
Everyday is a bit of chaos, and I’m just trying to make it a doable day like everyone else,
Helping wherever I can, however I can.
That’s my job, right? Right?

Tomorrows

Ah, tomorrow and tomorrows!
A procrastinators’ catchall
future days that he will borrow
freely to do nothing at all;
but presently those days will dawn
calling due his declarations;
promises he’ll not keep thereon:
deliberate fabrications.
His wishy-washy character
lacks effectiveness and purpose;
his favorite word is “later”
which can be defined as fruitless.
Is there any hope for him? No!
as long as there are tomorrows.

Premium Member Hmm

Well what do you want me to write now?
I don't know what I want to write
Because nothing I write is ever going to be enough
There will always be something
Same situation
Same bunch of s
I don't want to do the same thing any more
That unless You change or I change
I am gonna hang up my pen
I am tired
I am tired of all this bs
That is going nowhere
That is doing nothing
I want to do something
And if it is not then I am not going to do it
You lose Your effectiveness
Because You are not going to ever convince me otherwise
Time is a choosing
Time is a leaving
Got to pick it
Got to choose
And I am picking it

Sting of Poverty

I have heard of its thousand stories of lure,
It's stinking songs of allurement,
It's many stripes apportioned an earnest fatality.
Yet it's wave of effectiveness I overlooked.
Till it knocked the doors of my cabin with sounds i dread.
Unprepared i was, my arms far from reach.
I had whittled down my guarded battalion.
So naked I stood, helpless to it's smile of victory.
As I held back the shameful tears of unawareness,
It carefully strolled my path without an invite.
Swallowing all I have labored meticulously for.
O that matchless glory I have labored to attain,
Caught in its web my eyes are lifted high to behold.
Dime after dime it sliced my bowels without mercy.
It stole all I had as it nipped the patience of my soul.
I am found crawling the ends of a wretched existence.
Scavenging like an indispensable beggar to life.
Without worth, lacking the thought of possession.
Left to contend with impecuniousness, penury, so impoverish.
I sought solace in a beginning I still longed to re-venture.
But it's wrath tore me into pieces I'm yet to gather.
So stung to my soul, caged in body and mind.
To thee poverty I beckon with a humbled spirit.
Give to me wealth's sound of speech,
Freedom for a depressed soul to soar.
To climb to the heights of heaven forth the while.
for my grieve is weak and smile not,
and my pain has lost its melody.
Let my shine rise to sparkle bright.
Relieve me, I pray the from thy wrath of death,
For carefully I seek thy mercies with tears.

Friday, the 13th

FRIDAY, THE 13TH, IS IT AN ANATHEMA?

I, in the bad old days
When medicine derives
Its worth and effectiveness
In the wack-wack days
The herbal and their prayers used to drive away evil spirits.

Our great great grandparents
And our parents during the present times
Still these suppression of truth are pressed
For these beliefs
Which are tried to be repressed
But, somehow, is hard to demise.

But here’s the times when science gets bad
The best of alibi depend
On the number not at all on the figure
Just like their travails in life
Almost always point to an excuse
Because its Friday, the 13th (thirteenth).

Friday, the 13th (thirteenth)
Has become an omen and a superstition
Some sorts pull both their legs
To believe is not a disbelief their IQ is less
But if you heed and forego and the accident unmissed
You are lucky you followed the curse and you survived.

Whether Friday, the 13th is an anathema or a superstition
Its repercussion infused not on the imprecation
Would justify the warning or precaution
An advance knowledge is a wary information
The chronicler who set the calendar is not daydreaming
But he’s full of dumbness, indeed maybe a wisdom man!!

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Lifting Me Up

August 8 Scripture Meditations Based on Ezekiel 4-11

Key Verse – Ezekiel 11:1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD'S house…

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR LIFTING ME UP

Thank You for lifting me up against sin-downfall
By Your forgiveness of pardon’s call
That cleanses my soul from wickedness, whether big or small
So I can stand uprightly tall upon Your mercy’s hall.

Thank You for lifting me up against error-backsliding
By Your holiness of graciousness’ upholding
That pulls my heart from defilement’s degrading
So I can forbear godly scolding.

Thank You for lifting me up against guilt-pressure
By Your righteousness of kindness’ measure
That drives my faith from fears’ enclosure
So I can pursue toward heavenly treasure.

Thank You for lifting me up against distress-discouragement
By Your truth of inspiration’s enduement
That propels my spirit from worldliness’ enticement
So I can seek Your revival fulfillment.

Thank You for lifting me up against slothfulness-sluggardness
By Your love of power’s effectiveness
That pulls my body from laziness
So I can labour with diligent earnestness.

Thank You for lifting me up against vanity-torture
By Your sufficiency of satisfaction’s gesture
That settles my emptiness from nothingness’ posture
So I can pray upon trust-filled venture.

Thank You for lifting me up against anxiety-disposition
By Your joy of goodness’ provision
That ends my discontentment-bouts midst dissatisfaction
So I can continue in Your constant compassion.
