Premium Member Despite My Sins

God,
You are
so good to
me despite my
sins* and transgressions.
You gave Yourself to me
along Your loving kindness
saving my soul from hell’s peril
giving me eternal life’s greatness...
Such I can’t fathom; but, I do thank You.

*Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved.

Premium Member DESPITE WRECKAGE

Created from clay
yet possessing image of God
my heart glows with redemption’s grace
persisting to champion miracles
against human nature’s wreckage...
Thus, I can move mountains.

Gripped with divine presence
my faith trusts the Holy Spirit
strengthened to conquer trials
subduing torments of guilt midst pardon bliss
toward triumphant eternity...
Indeed, I can move mountains*.

*Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them... If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place’; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

Despite My Face

What I want
No regard for you
Nose falls off

Spring Is Coming Despite Winter

'It is my faith that every flower
enjoys the air it breathes.'
To live means to be aware
and take time to see and care.
To live is to apprehend and forgive.
To live means to share,
open windows, appreciate,
love, understand and perceive.

Endear yourself, dear friend,
seek out your dignity,
and never keep your head down
lest, let me say, you fail,
when you fall down, to rise up
like before.

You will make it.
You will hopefully make it
no matter how perilous, daunting
and imposed this way of life
might seem. Arise, Awake and Be.

Plant the flowers of your garden
and guide the sluice of water into them.
Nobody will do it better except you.
Nobody will step in your shoes.
Look at their flowers and wonder.
Spring is coming despite winter.
Help its coming by going back
to your home and garden.

Premium Member Despite Threats of World War III

Despite challenging threats of World War III crises...
Let’s seek God* Who compassionately blesses
As we show good works’ practices
While clinging to His promises
Indeed relying upon what His “Fear not” expresses.

Despite discouraging gloom brought by a World War III environment...
Let’s yield to God so we can avoid evil engagement
As we persevere in our Christian covenant-fulfillment
While striving to do our commitment
Indeed fixed on His “Be of good cheer” words of contentment.

Despite tormenting picture of a World War III situation...
Let’s abide in God to conquer seemingly helpless condition
As we remain steadfast in our well-doing function
While showing strong determination
Indeed anchored on His “Trust in the Lord” declaration.

Despite burdening World War III imagined hardship...
Let’s submit to God in vanquishing deceitful partnership
As we stay responsible in our stewardship
While seeking His fellowship
Indeed lifting His name for His “Praise ye the Lord” in our worship.

Despite distracting World War III-rattle...
Let’s beseech God in Whose might we can settle
As we become victorious in our spiritual health and sanitation battle
While overcoming uncleanness’ mantle
Indeed cleaving to His “Be strong in the Lord” mettle.

Despite attacking World War III restlessness...
Let’s call unto God to win against the flesh and worldliness
As we strive to be consistent in our prayer-earnestness
While staying in His gracious faithfulness
Indeed fired up by His “Be ye holy” to fight sinfulness.

Despite despairing World War III impending reality...
Let’s depend on God in sharing the Gospel against adversity
As we increase in our faith’s intensity
While thanking Him humbly with joy’s purity
Indeed empowered by His “Lovest thou me...?" test of sincerity.

*Psalm 69:32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

Premium Member Despite Distractions

Detaching myself from past experiences' dilemma
determined heart of mine denounces deceit-dominance
dauntless to soar despite distractions…

Devastated by dear Mom’s demise
distressed due to Dad’s despair over his darling’s death
despondent soul faced courage draining…

Demoralized with Brod’s departure from vowed kingdom duties
decreasing steadfastness questioned difficult virtue-demands
debilitating commitment’s diligence, struggling to defy doubts…

Despicable guilt-angst drowned my devotion
dampening service zeal with deafening “don’ts”
drying the will’s sap with demeaning failure doom…

Delivered triumphantly from days of despair
discreet spirit does cleave to God for His direction
daily yielding to Him midst complete dependence…

Dealt well by the Saviour’s grace to face such decade
dedicated indomitable spirit, propped with decisiveness
deterred not to deny my LORD Who secures me around His defense…

Driven now to ascend midst lurking detours
divinely-braced faith derails disorientation
drawn* to GOD for reaching-out ministerial delight.

*James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

I Love You (Despite All Your Hate)

If it’s what you truly want
I’ll gladly cut my own throat
I’ll take this sharp blade
and let it slowly slide down
If you promise it’ll make
a smile from your frown
I love you
that’s all I can say
I love you
despite all your hate
Your happiness is
my number one concern
And if it makes you less sad
my flesh I will burn
Whatever you want
that’s what I am
Whatever you need
I’ll have in my hand
I won’t live on
if you want me to die
I’ll take my dad’s gun
and put a bullet in my brain
I promise I won’t haunt you
because I love you too much
I’ll die at your feet
I’ll die by your hands
and while I bleed out
I’ll look into your eyes
and if my blood stains your shoes
then I apologize
because you know that I
I would never cause you pain
you know that I
I would never make you sad
and I
I love you
that’s all I can say
I love you
despite all your hate

Despite Sins Salvation Path He Offers

Great is one who ACCEPT ONEs errors
Human has weakness of pointing fingers
And hunting scapegoat to camouflage own errors
Temporary can be relief from criticism that errors trigger
Others may get convinced but guilt in conscience ever lingers

Greater is one who ACCEPT OTHERs errors
Acceptance relieves the burden of punishing other
Generates atmosphere for searching solution together
Positivity leading path better, committed error on backburner
Others love and adore for treating as human, vulnerable to error

Greatest is one who FORGIVES other errors
Ever heard complaint from trees, mountains, river ?
Humans use, abuse, but Natures bounty shower forever
Forgiveness is subtle respecting own Soul through Soul in other
Humans ought to learn from HIM, despite sins Salvation path HE offers

The Sun Will Rise Tomorrow Despite the Rain

chariot of outreach,
i do a moderate dance
in the form of a stomp
on your existence

as i gallop into the wide
unknown of your most
feeble pleasure, i recall
a windy dawn in which
you howled my name

when i chose not to respond,
you took it upon yourself to
throw a blizzard party in the sauna

i the decided to dispose the ****
seepage of your misnamed moniker
of a love unconditional

the windchimes catching the aggressive
blows of the deluge defy the reasonable
rudiments of rhythm

as a result, i become silly putty in my own
hands, and i blow out the candles knowing
now what it will take to etch the purity of love
in the eternal emission of time....

Despite the Bilboes of Casteism

He could see her highly strung face
Behind the cloaked veil
A face taught to behold beautiful turbulent.
He could feel the shiver in her timid heart
And the fearful spasm
Running down her spine.
He held her hand and whorled the bangles
While hundred of foes
Opposing two hearts
Kept their eyes glued in line.
He stained her red;
By making that vermilion spread.
He jeweled her up with holy beads
And consecrated her with the garnet ink.
She devoted herself to him
When he adorned her nape
With the sacred tinsel tasseled thread.
He could see the love in her eyes for him
And with that sense of relief,
She embraced him tight
And said in a moist tone
As he kissed her lachrymose eyes,
'Our love will always bring the holy grail back.'

Blessed Despite My Failings

It wasn’t so long ago
I lost my heart to a man I didn’t know
Now I’m heading home
With five little ones in tow

Now I’ve hit my fifties
What a relief
Looking back on the years gone by
Life has not been all that kind, I cannot lie

But the little ones have grown
And have little one’s of their own
With guidance from above
We have overcome, with His love

In hindsight I would have changed a few things
But yet I have and will be, blessed despite my failings.

A Badge Made Me Stop, So Now Despite My Angel I Am Back To Dope

DO DON’T, WILL, WON’T

We were wandering, we were lost
Four who knew not the route out of a maze
Other’s blood upon our hearts was there embossed
Never to forget a dead man’s glaring gaze

Once, twice and then one becomes numb and void
While death becomes birth’s ally and partner in crime
Some may swear and some become annoyed
But we all got high as if all we had was time

Each time a dealer hands you a bag you never know
While my desperation and neediness ever grew
Each time a dealer hands you a bag you feel your habit grow
And to ignore that fact is what some junkies opt to do

I, on the other hand swore that I would not die’
For careful was I about who and where I’d go
If I didn’t know the dealer I wasn’t getting high
Because rat poison is cheaper than lactose, that much I know

Some dealers feel a junkie’s angst and desperate needs
As that junkie grows more fearsome in a sordid sort of way
Both dealers and junkies are forced to do some desperate deeds
Yet out of four poor wanderers I’m the only one still alive
