DESPITE WRECKAGE
Created from clay
yet possessing image of God
my heart glows with redemption’s grace
persisting to champion miracles
against human nature’s wreckage...
Thus, I can move mountains.
Gripped with divine presence
my faith trusts the Holy Spirit
strengthened to conquer trials
subduing torments of guilt midst pardon bliss
toward triumphant eternity...
Indeed, I can move mountains*.
*Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them... If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place’; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
