DESPITE WRECKAGE

Created from clay yet possessing image of God my heart glows with redemption’s grace persisting to champion miracles against human nature’s wreckage... Thus, I can move mountains. Gripped with divine presence my faith trusts the Holy Spirit strengthened to conquer trials subduing torments of guilt midst pardon bliss toward triumphant eternity... Indeed, I can move mountains*.
*Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them... If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place’; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” January 2, 2024 1st place, "I can move mountains" Poetry Writing Contest Sponsored by Anoucheka Gangabissoon; judged on 3/2/2024

I do appreciate the symbolism and metaphor in this poem (human nature's wreckage=superb!)....With faith, I have no need for guilt...does that make sense. I have to fave this one because it 'spoke' to me. Have a blessed evening, Sara

Amazing what God did and can do still. Just think God took something from man and made woman. Maybe DNA from man so that now man has something missing until he meets his life mate. Thank you for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K
