Best Deigns Poems
I did not know that one could feel death cold in summer sweat,
as images of you flash lightning fast, the wind remains still and vigils
past the midnight hour, no relief comes from the short rain shower.
But images are not enough when the cold of the night yearns for warmth;
for the bed never used to be this big, the sheets this chilly to one’s touch,
the hours never used to be parched lips waiting to be moistened by your kiss.
If only dealing with feelings was as simple as watching scenes from old movies
where in despair, the heroine can just crumple the letter to throw in the bin,
only to pick it up later and lovingly remove the creases, to be read again.
So as a patient farmer waits for the grains to grow from green stalks
and a mother who calmly expects to see the face of the child in her womb,
I will soothe the sorrow in my breast, till fate deigns for me too, to rest.

My Lord is my reliance, sole
He claimed a body that a mother scorned
His termoil testifies me whole
His spirit has me not forlorn
Yet satan deigns to me instruct
My every path must he obstruct
With a ruthless tongue
He devices wrong
And counts upon my every fault
Every virtue to assult
And so I seek my death with zeal
My death like hidden goods I seek
A broken temple bears my sovereign's seal
Son of David mild and meek.
Jesus heal me who am weak.

Moon goddess in nocturnal flight,
When Luna’s rise at midnight breaks
One’s deepest breath of awe she takes.
Her wings are formed by silky light.
Silver shards beam through drifting clouds,
Curtains of light in misty shrouds;
Her hair billows radiant bright.
Her face a luminescent glow,
Captive of heaven’s indigo.
She whispers secrets to the night,
Twinkling stars light years away keep
Peaceful solitude in our sleep.
In dream state she relates her might.
Luna keeps vigil over night;
Genders poets compelled to write.
Emotions bared with-in her light;
Her mood through pen is oft’ displayed
In violence or love allayed.
A lovely view, her awesome sight.
Beauty remains beyond compare,
The gift of love she deigns to share.
Moon goddess in nocturnal flight,
Her wings are formed by silky light.
Her hair billows radiant bright.
She whispers secrets to the night,
In dream state she relates her might.
Emotions bared with-in her light;
A lovely view, her awesome sight.

Late-September tingles on wispy nights,
blowing a mild drizzle from crisp, eastern winds
and lays on the hammock of gilded foliage,
to decorate a new season's mantle:
Its fire and earth mesh with time's luster,
weaving a texture which displays
a soul’s contentment from nature's hymn,
that deigns to fully acknowledge
such Virgo charm boundless, unbidden
in a cycle lacquered with marmalade sunsets ;
kindling fine autumn's enchantment.
Until moonlight glints a lustrous face
on lanes where birdsong and lovers croon,
through a rush of its tempo’s eloquence
gifting the days, oh infinitesimal peace--
then bathes whispered prayers, as russet glow
tenderly slips into heaves of its final moment.

Ode
She hugs Him tight on this frigid night,
Vedi Dolorosa Mater.( Latin meaning: I saw the most sorrowful mother.)
Some shepherds shout as the sky about
becomes angels to honor His Father.
CHORUS:
Sweet, sweet are his cheeks so meek
in whom rags enfold
and soon kings bring gold.
Sweet bliss reigns
as His Father deigns
for the One we proclaim through the ages.
The oxen snort as the world cavorts
they ignore all the hope He is bringing.
Yet even now, as the mule and cow
raise their eyes to the angels still singing.
CHORUS:
Kneel, kneel to this King and sing
of His precious love
sent from God above.
The world will know
in the swirling snow
of the One we proclaim through the ages.

Lyric
When the rains burst forth
from heaven's lofty heights,
Apollo deigns to repress his golden light.
Beneath, waves unfurl with whitecaps
crashing on my island's sand;
I feel the strength of Mother Nature's land.
Render me no umbrella for this storm;
no paltry drops are felt to prickle skin,
just blur of storm to be consumed within.
Rain has always been a love to me.... so
when crystal droplets fall they become a part
of the euphoria felt deep within my heart.

There's a beautiful, pink flower in my garden.
A beautiful, pink rose that blooms every year.
Its petals are as pink as the color of strawberry ice cream.
As soft as a baby bird's feather.
It smells of sweet perfume.
The scent of clean clothes.
There's a beautiful, pink flower in my garden.
A beautiful, pink rose that blooms every year.
The stem is as green as string beans.
As strong as a piece of metal that will never break.
It stands there straight as can be,
only moving when strong winds run by.
There's a beautiful, pink flower in my garden.
A beautiful, pink rose that blooms every year.
Its leaves are rough and pointy at the ends,
with many deigns going every which way.
Its thorns are sharp like the blade of a knife,
looking threatening as they stick out of the stem.
To me,
this beautiful, pink rose symbolizes the beginning of Spring.
The beginning of a new day, a new year.

Pressures of Life
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder
That having no perfection but being confident makes you appear bolder.
Reality is far better when my eyes are closed
I see burning arrows coming at me looking at the life I chose.
Held down by gravity forcing me to succumb to this life
And I'm back to being bothered with the pressures of life.
Just thinking of her deigns my heart and mind
Believing there's hope, the more I bleed the more I tried.
Her imperfections turned to memories clouding my mind
Becoming a shadow even during the day, accentuating my strife
And I'm back to being bothered with the pressures of life.
Is it okay to care... or is it such a fault?
Our imperfections are what keeps us from a complete halt.
Looking outside the box, I realise I need to learn more about me
No more pittance for my thoughts but rather a large fee.
So until the day death takes me for her life...
I will continue to be bothered with the pressures of life.

One golden eye glowers, proud Poseidon deigns lift
the scored shards of malice where mere mortals sift.
Becalm unnerved waters, cleanse steel gray to green
before sanity shatters with one glimpse of this scene.
Surge forth healing rivers, bathe stunned souls to heal
Sweep clean filthy flotsam, let no grim grime congeal.
Stout salt of forbearance, restore what had once been
Sure embrace, stalwart prince, lest it happen again.

Pearl
The pearl is precedence
A quiet resting creature who but deigns to live and die
When life inserts hard measure
Surrounds with gentle folds
And turns its pain to treasure
But lesson more than learning
That time alone will show
Already tells me nothing
Ah pearl, I do not already know
This tiny hurt of love was left, so like a grain of sand
When last she made to go
Time graced my heart to understand
Ah pearl, I know
I know
Emptiness would rest
Without that grain of hurt
So 'round its pain I grow
'till hard layered shell disguise the thing
Ah pearl, I know
I know
Oyster-man lie quiet
There's nothing left to do
Save gently rock in a sea of time
And grow 'round the grain of love she left in you
Encase it in a luster of multicolored hue
Mixed of tear and hope and memories
Of when your love, loved you
Hard over hard, and slow
'tis not an easy shell to grow
when years of time have rolled by thee
if some forsaken scientist from curiosity
Should wonder at your core
And crush your opalescent majesty
From vain wanting to know more
Perhaps in wonder he would see
That tiny grain of sand that hurt you so
it caused a thousand-layered soul to cover it
and brought beauty borne of pain that it might never show
But I would not have to open you see what made you grow-
Ah, precious hearted pearl
I know,
I know.

THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOD...THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY...WHO ALONE CAN
SAVE FROM Satan...who plays 'all' roles...the devil...the 'Lord Jesus'...
the 'Father'...the 'Holy Spirit'...all 'Other Gods'...and 'alien gods'...HE...THE
LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF IS FULLY GOD AND MAN...AND HE ALONE...
IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD THE FATHER...and to an Actual Heaven!
Junipers and lotuses oft bestow fragrances radiant in beauty,
And love springs forth in a timeless new story,
For chance encounters penned throughout Shakespearean lore,
In life, ne'er do they tumble upon vacant knolls and shores.
Paradise can be a meaningless word phrased upon a map,
When a heart left vacant mirrors an evergreen without its sap,
Though if Heaven deigns, a rose bud blossoms once again,
And a crystal palace left shattered can miraculously mend.
A sonnet of our love story has been regaled throughout our travels,
As my love and I have laughed and learned, our purpose unravels,
To nurture a newness of life, and of love, throughout the Earth,
Together, forever, our hearts flow with mercies to rise against the dearth.
And endings are ne'er forever, for even as the last chapter closes,
A sequel to our love story, is penned with every question my heart poses,
And a life worth living can ne'er be weighed upon the scales of time,
For endless can love be, and forever, will we be, and it's our sonnet of rhyme!

MAUDE
Her red plump lips doth tease releasing mood,
And glasses squeeze the shark-like eyes of Maude.
My tippy-toes reach her tall tattooed knees.
Maude’s eyes slide down Her beak-like nose.
She shakes aluminum-like paper pad,
“Why poet,” she sneers, “are these your quaint words?”
“Um and uh,” doth depart my liver lips,
“I…and…,” I nervously stammer reply.
She throws back her enormous head and laughs.
She bends those tattooed knees, and pats my hair,
“Oh poet, little friend,” she deigns with smirk,
“Those words are quite your size,” stands straight back up.
I mar the makeup on the trellis limb.
Thus composed I will “face to face” this alp.
“Outrageous!” I begin, “Now face your sin.
A prideful chest of pious smirks, you have,”
But in the end I’ll win. I’ll work for words.”
Maude dare not speak. My eyes pierce hers. They’re fierce.
So close to me, she trembles, says, “Sorry…
You’ve got the job.” With sunken chest Maude quits.

Brilliant as the glistening reflecting oft a crystal palace,
My summer's dream oft spoke of a midnight chalice,
Enrapturing the cloaked mysteries bestowed within,
The chyralis of my heart's transformation did he win.
Betwixt my summer dream and this idyllic ripening of my memories,
He faded fast, as the cruelty of fate stole our chalice's dignities,
That diamonds are forever, is the Universe's unfolding of an extinguished star,
As those sparkling gemstones, fade forever into the blackest scar.
If Heaven deigns, an enrapturing of a broken heart can mend,
For as brilliant as his crystal palace was, another made even light to bend,
And a diamond may ne'er be forever, but upon a mountain,
A paradise descends upon my weathered heart, as love springs forth as a fountain.
Those cloaked mysteries bestowed within, have blossomed as a rose,
And the chalice of our communion now cradles our loving prose,
As our eternal story challenges the sages divined wisdom,
And forever, together, we will enter into a glorified kingdom.

Blank verse
She lands in April, like the eglantine,
and daisies flourish where she deigns to tread.
When apple-blossom blazes overhead,
I know the scented summer will be mine.
As jasmine and clematis intertwine,
and wine’s inclined to vie with sunset’s red,
my heart is full, and much that goes unsaid
must wait until new vintage weighs the vine.
For, when the river wrinkles in the chill
of obdurate October, and the mist
enfolds in skirts the base of Whitney Mill,
my love and I must cease to co-exist.
The crows cry from the stubble, sharp and shrill,
Like morning sun in twilight reminisced.
