We Are

We Are

                                                   Victims of Time.
                                             Degenerates of Distance.
                                                 Skeptics of Love.

The Era of Area

The Era of Area

Diameters
Circumference

The whole sector

My vision is the mirror of the world I'm reflecting

Led by my Path and direction

I said I was reckless

But only to relay the message

That
peace is peace

But that don't mean just ah fraction

We are mankind
Not manufactured

Intellectuals
That lack actual
Intellect that's factual

Susceptible
To information un creditable
Satisfied with lies made eatable
Audible and fashionable

Collateral
damage,
descendants of
Degenerates
Piggybacking
Of ignorance

Soliciting
Bigotry and
Vengeance

Is it
the power of adding every cents
Or the fact that we been slaves
Caged in that same ship ever since

Kunta tried to make a drum
But the beat skipped
Speak it
He taught me,
that's the way to pass teachings

Read it
Alex Haley taught me
Words are our secret
language leads us to our healing
I thank Ayala for her leading
And Lauren hill for her grieving

So many I thank without guessing
But you feel their presence
Through my content and evidence
I'm forever rich

Gold is my soul
Diamonds shining through my bones
I'm all elements and minerals
Ascending in intervals

I'll be the bird with the word
So you dont get pigeon holed

Strength is within us
We forget it though
Looking at the exterior
Forgetting the inter folds
We self centered
But are we centered though
See the picture and throw a filter on
Then wonder why you vision thrown

We all sinners
casting the first stones
My people, take these steps with me
The path the leads us back home

Robin Hood

Robin Hood

The Boys from the Hood are always hard...Robin laughs in mockery,
for he is the thief among thieves, swift, hard, so intelligently...
A lifestyle for most buried in the Hood, 23 square blocks of misery,
but not for he, oh know Mr. Hood takes pleasure in using this as...
as his... Metaphorical hideout tree...In bad company...King Thief...
Here amongst the derelicts, addicts, gangs, and overall bad men,
he is an Omen, an unlucky out of place casuality of urban demographics.
He is sly, so sly like the fox, letting all of the immoral degenerates around him
get blamed for all of his bad stuff, all of his illegal escapades they take the blame.
Why? Because he is the King Thief, a thief without greed for he feeds who needs.
So people here hold him in reverie, like a King, but just a thief with a good plan,
he understands what others can't comprehend...He has a plan...And many fans...
Robin Mr. Original Boy in the Hood, he took it all just because he could,
leaving the rest of the Boys from the Hood to think that they're hard...

Elephant

Possessed of grace
You delight & enchant
Awe-inspiring
Elephant
with your elegance
supreme sentient
For you, we hymn & marvel
at your superior intelligence
Yet, it is evident
& in direct reference
to our negligence
Our decadence
sets precedence
Our dollars fund your terrorists

Exploited elephant
beast of burden, bated
Your magnificence
Your splendor
…attenuated
Tourist degenerates
…terror
…torment
All for our arrogance
& irreverence
Our all encompassing wretchedness
To hold captive such gloriousness
To enslave your majesty
your excellence
Your nobility stolen by our hideousness
Lament
The elephant

Arson On Park Avenue

The fire raged, no place to dwell, a busy street, a place of hell..
What loss of life we do not know, no place to live, no place to go..
What place be next, where people die, the block is spent, the price is high..
Dope addicts, drugs, degenerates all, some day be gone, forever fall..
Not honor bound, no care, no trust, to try destroy, this what they must..
Ruination lives at Avenue Park, the lights are out, the street is dark..
Scavengers now do meet the scene, no thought of love, death in between..
What is the price, what is the toll, what charges them, for them what goal..
Wonder we the reason why, the bad shall live, the good shall die..
So try we must, we'll reach the goal..
We'll conquer sin, thus save the soul..

A Mothers Pain

Take it from me, You don't see what I see
You don't hear what I hear,
You don't feel what I feel,
But most of all you don't fear what I fear.

You see an addict,
The scum of the earth,
The low lives and degenerates,
A society of no value or worth.

I see my daughter,
The child I held in my arms,
The baby I cherished
Vowed no one would harm.

You see an addict,
You turn and walk away,
You cross the street,
"Parenting these days"

I see an addict,
I plead and I pray
"Dear God please,
Don't take my baby away.

You see your child,
Out there on the swing,
You see your child,
They laugh and they sing.

This was my daughter,
Back in the day,
Before heroin came,
Andtook her away.

You thinkit's a choice,
You think they don't care,
You don't see the fight,
You don't see the despair.

I see a lost soul,
With an awful disease,
I don't know how she got there,
But she wants to be free.

You say that is one thing,
My child wouldn't do,
But you don't know the future,
You're not wearing those shoes.

I pray God blesses you,
And keeps your family safe,
I wish for no one,
To be in my place.

To see what I see,
To hear what I hear,
To feel what feel,
But most of all to fear what I fear.

Ballad of the Progressive Revelator

He is screaming from his soapbox again.
His voice carries heavily through the air,
like a cloud of sulfur, soot, and disrepute.

He is old and he is fuming,
and he must do what old folks
do best, other than croak.

He must yell at the lost souls
of the newest generation
of degenerates and sinners

who will all surely burn in hell,
who will die writhing in agony,
and none of whom give even half a ****.

He may not even know the source of his
vitriol, but goddamn it, its there,
and he is going to spew it everywhere.

These are not opinions. There will be no discussion.
Our own soapboxes will remain unused.
Our politics all silent and subdued.
We do not want to make a scene.

Lend An Ear, My Cavalier

I have forfeited every inch
Of your bitter blow
And you have reaped the profit.
You took my discretion for granted
And placed me inside a cage.
You withered,
Disdainfully,
In an open page.
The palate of your face
Eating at the sky
And delivering me to justice.
Haunting me and my forbidden womb.
Drenching the maggots
In silver and golden
As they nibble at a
Greasy toothed moron
From the grave.
And in temptation,
You'll haunt them too.
A wandering pilgrimage
Isn't far from you.
And with this thought,
Your on foot,
Fleeing to the very next castle
Of whore ridden death and degenerates.
And because of his avarice
You will never turn back.
And because the tips of her hair,
Drenched in brandy
And ever tickling at your spine,
You will never turn back.
At agate,
An open wound sits
Mingling with the dark and the lecherous.
Having cocktails with the waitress
Whose initials spell hepatitis
And whose breasts aren't far from
The waist you see so fit.
Gangrene has not swallowed
This slit up just yet
And it is far too simpleminded
Of you to forget how you pleaded
With her to let it heal.
Let it heal.
Let it stop.
Let it seal.
To free the ever so silent songbird
Who has been caged in your debt
For centuries,
Bargaining and wagering with
The undertaker
And licking at injustice with her toes,
Wanting nothing more than to bear
The child of a man who hates the sea
But is born from the salt of it's accomplices.
A man whose bitter death is but a tragedy
To shoe makers
But sleeps under a petticoat
For fear of losing his head.
The man who holds his key so tightly
With all probability and intention
Of letting it go.

Premium Member Across the Ocean

Across the ocean
The abnormal is normalized
There, where perverts lose shame,
Coming out of the closet,
 putrid degeneracy seeks renown,
unashamedly, sensuality is stuffed on your throat.
begging for acceptance by law,
innocent kids no longer safe,
a subtle compelling propaganda
men supposedly intelligent,
advocating immoral identity
urging us all to give up our sanity
from toleration to acceptance,
as gradually society degenerates
I stick to my African values.
And stand aloof in awe and amazement

Patriot

The proud blood of my ancestors has waned
The present generation has drifted from the path
The southern heroes weep in their graves
The here and now feel none of the American wrath

Where once brave men stood and died for love of home
And strived to see that seeds of prosperity were sown
Now cowards and failures and degenerates wither
I fear I cannot reverse what they have grown

How am I to measure up to what they have done?
How am I to put aside all my wrongs?
How am I to make my mark alone?
How am I to live up to the old songs?

Men were once men
Now I am but a wraith
They who were with sin
And I without faith..

Philosophical Ranting With Red Wine

Aimless wandering beings
Arms flailing reaching out to touch
feeling no one in reach
isolated pedestrians seeking affection
 disconnected lack of eye contact
Seeing no one peripherally...

A sea of souls knowing more each day
 forgetting everything else
information trumping wisdom
 Compassion overshadowed by Computation
Each byte bites into the fabric
A tattered tapestry left hanging
  Rare human-like beings peek through
Wanting tangible exchanges of communication

Exhaling shallow, careful for smog intake
  We've made everyday Halloween
Highlighting and Sensationalized...
Terrified of those we don't know
Expanding the gap, alienating...alone
Community was our protection...now stolen
In locked homes peering out, guarded
Neighbors-strangers...shaking with guns
No one safe from the dangers at home!

Intelligence rises...yet we refuse to evolve
Using our fears, insecurities, and prejudice
to hamper the progress of our young
Technology is no surrogate Parent
Using repressive dishonest methods of yesterday
only degenerates the trust of highly informed children

Our hope is in teaching them
  where we failed
When we missed
 what we forgot
   ....Transcending the hatreds, and biases
          applying the accrued knowledge
                  to one day
             mentally and spiritually
                     EVOLVE!!

Simultaneously progressing/digressing
Gaining in Ability, losing in Humanity
Our Children will succeed where we could not...

New Age

Every time I see the news, it just gives me the blues
All the views, and the cues, seems we're all gonna lose
Murderous men, vile humans and numerous death
Seems the reporters report it with humorous breath
Negative Nancy's fill my screen with a scene
With images of hate that can't be unseen
Kids done wrong, prison bids not long
Kill for a dime and yet paid with a song
Politicians full of rhetoric, I get so sick of it
Living like degenerates, a fool can get his fill of it
Drugs, sex, and a new poll seem to be the rule
A plethora of puke is now the new cool
I won't jump in the pool cuz I have a voice
Use it to tell everyone that you have a choice
Doomsday clock clicking close, I don't wanna play host
Sooner or later we can't all be ghosts

Regenerate Degenerates

Degenerates & subjugates
Nothing really deteriorates
Living life in magenta & chartreuse
Trying to cover over the bruises
Caused by silver-white lies

Negating the ending
For the sake of feeding
The all so encompassing
Heartfelt alibis

Gravitating towards the fable
Resounding through the Taj Mahal
Told underneath the kitchen table
Heard through the majestic macaw

Throwing stones at the glass ceiling
We call self help, we call healing
Writing secrets in the sand
Hoping one day they'll understand

Regenerate & propagate
We stand at heavens gate
Waiting to be let in
Hoping our holiness outweighs our sins.

Neighborhood Rapists

Neighborhood rapists look at you from a distance
Twisted degenerates filled with poison in the mind
Drooling from the mouth, big and fat and limping
A cast on the ugly leg, fornicators, scratching private parts

They want to take trees by the trunk and love them
Holding the branches back to offend
To seduce their roots too
If a knot is not available they will drill a hole

They don't wear prophylactics
As they are not subject to venereal disease
We can only pray for a tree infection
When neighborhood rapists are through with trees

They move on to shrubbery
Some bushes fight back with thistles and thorns
Be forewarned, perverts come in all shapes and forms
An abomination to nature

* Authors note: (My apologies to anyone who is offended or sensitive to this subject in any way shape or form. Rape is not a joke. It is a brutal crime and the worst of all crimes against humanity.) I hope you enjoy the poem for its silliness and entertainment intent.
