Best Darkening Poems
Darken the ashes darken the moon this here shade is color of my heart,
Words obsolete versification sin feel like a bike to the tire air is need to reverse,
Salt ice move the moon just a little closer to cover up splash on the shoes,
Rain ethnicity drops heavy the blow lower the ice no slip no fall,
When roads are wet tightening the grip this is is a smooth sailor,
Hope and wishing has a home this feeling in my heart has en duration the end of time,
But yet a heart beat but yet a breath but yet determine heart felt I have a soul,
Darken the ashes darken the moon this here shade is color of my heart!
The Darkening Other Side
Ingenuity underlying unites position made,
Darkness internal vise impression.
Imaginary dare ceremony toy youthful different.
Leave sensitive,
Committing regret journey,
Assuring brighter deepening beliefs.
Smile thence composed,
Chose hung injured.
Evil assures agitations lowest.

Darkening Skies
Thunder
Claps her hands
Bidding me
Listen to her song
I am the bass
Resounding far and wide
I am the drum
Tapping life’s rhythms
I am the strings
Rising and dissolving in unison
Silence enters
I strain to hear a refrain
But the song has faded
What was is no more
Self disappears
With a prescient falling
Dropping, dropping
When
A faint echo whispers
Let go of the past
Surrender to the present
Breathe its nectar deeply
Follow its rhythms
Trust in abundance

In the multitude of
counsellors; safety
abounds,
But
ln the multitude of
enemies as counsellors;
deceit abounds.
Counsellors whose heart
studieth destruction with
lips uttering mischief;
Enemies clothed with
sheep clothings as
friends;
Friends whose tongues
uttereth words born in
deception.
Counsellors whose mouth
darkeneth counsel by
words without
knowledge;
Enemies made
counsellors whose looks
appeareth friendly,
Friends whose mouth
draweth iniquity by cords
of vanity.
Counsellors who utter
counsels coated in
corruption,
Friends whose mouth
worseneth counsel by
words without wisdom;
Enemies whose heart
pondereth in destruction.
Counsellors whose
counsel are coiled in
deception,
Friends who by
multitudes of words
cause you to err;
Enemies whose mouth
captivate tender hearts.
Counsellors whose
counsel destroy the paths
of relationships,
Friends whose conceit
counsel to death;
Enemies being enslaved
seek to enslave others.
Believe not every counsel
neither inculcate every
word,
........... They destroy the
heart..........
Believe not every friend
neither heed to
multitudes of words,
........... They enslave the
soul............
Believe not every
counsellor neither seek
counsels from multitudes;
.......... They captive the
mind...........
Which counsel shall we
inculcate?
Which counsellors shall
we believe?
Which counsellors shall
we seek?
Inculcate counsels proved
by love,
Believe counsellors
whose counsel are
weighed by truth and
peace;
Seek counsellors whose
counsel are words of life.
Who shall our counsellors
be?
Let counsellors who are
genuine and experienced
be our guide;
Let counsellors who are
higher and honest be our
refuge.
Hope you find counsellors
whose counsels are
candid;
for
lt takes honest
counsellors to ensure
your safety.
as rain begins to fall from the sky
my forgotten memories make me cry
I feel forsaken and I don't know why
my entire body begs to die
as tears slowly fall from the sky
the rain comes down harder still
and I force down a bitter pill
a pill of sorrow and regret
of all the fears I've never met
of what I should have always been
all just memories in the end
the sky blackens with the storm
and I begin to slowly mourn
everything that has been torn
my heart, my soul, is all forlorn
as I darken with the storm
near the end of the day
the rain begins to ebb away
but the darkness lingers still
and I wonder why, until
I realize with a start
that the darkness is my heart
At dusk I'll seek the rainbow arch
and part ways with it's color.
The sky is darkening,
it's pupil obscured with cataracts
as sudden sparkle sprinkles,
and the dimension splits apart.
Out of opaque blue, and into clarity
I see the far end of what is near.
Forever's end nay come tomorrow
but through looking glass I see the day.
The emerging aqualung, the shaded spot
that connects the quagmire in arithmetic.
The artifice wakes and the quagmire vanishes;
swallowed anew in vague opaque;
intervention in imagination,
the mundane confiscation,
the obscurity of serenity;
I want to remember said fantasy in my dreams,
lest I wake again to disappointment.
The stream grows dirtier
as it flows down
towards the ocean.
In a boat
as I drift with the tide-
the water darkens
more and more.
Yet I glide
on this winding stream
to the infinite ocean.
Ashen grey clouds in drift, across a darkening sky
A solitary soul stands whilst the ravens no longer fly
They settle on the gravestones, gathering in the trees
For soon they'll be summoned, ignoring the weakening pleas
The hooded figure signals, like thunder their wings flap
Arms now folded in stance as they gather for their attack
Amidst the greying sky flies an unkindness of black
For soon they'll release their anger, there will be no lack
Towards the town they head in stealthily gliding ease
Riding the storms thermals, being carried on it's breeze
An unsuspecting township oblivious in their surround
For soon in sporadic scatter amidst this black inbound
No religion colour or creed is spared their pecking beaks
For it's the blood of the human that desires their darkened seek
Lacerated weeping bodies in frenzied crimson run
Zig zagging like headless chickens, as to why this has begun

Light lights the darkness
And in turn the darkness darkens the light
A battle rages on
Seemingly never to stop
Who will rule the time?
For darkness rules the night
And light fights through the day
No! Light rules both night and day
Aha! Look at the moon- its light but shines in the night
It shines through the rays of tender hearts
With the wind whispering destruction
As trees and braches shake off
Paying witness to our lost intellect
You seek warmth in the solace of the wild
And find excitement in our lost wisdom
The moon and the stars shine
Leading us to our desolation
Clear paths lead us
Down the sweet sour pavement
quick race to the clothesline

Darkening Sorrow
It was a strange summer I wouldn’t say reluctant
But rather old fashioned, rather like an old man
Crossing the farm yard with a slice of bread in his
Hand to give to the horse by the wooden fence.
It was not a summer that will be remembered by
Bathers by the beach, the sea was cold that year
Often there were bands of cerulean silk scarves
On the sky keeping the day from being too hot.
We walked everyday although our walks became
Shorter and we didn’t go to the river as usual.
You had gone in September and I had got a buyer
For the house, alone it was pointless living there.
I will be moving into an idyllic home for the aged,
And from the window see your resting place.
Your thoughts are like darkening liquid
that undulates in deep currents
of hidden seas flowing through
secret vaults within the rivers of infinity,
objects of history, imagery, divinity, broken
upon destiny’s shores wash your dark
thoughts of depression drowning in liquid
flows, thoughts turn crimson in chansons
of mind, your thoughts are like darkening liquid
that undulates in deep currents,
of hidden rivers flowing through
secret vaults of memory, a black
depth, a void of your thoughts
are brittle, crystalize in twilights
last rays if a dying star, froze in
nights afar, from your soul where
liquid like blood runs through veins
of immortality, like darkening liquid
that undulates in deep currents,
of hidden seas flowing through
secret vaults in your memory.
The yellow dying sun throws lingering light
As the hills are bathed in pastel colours towards night
The trees are filled with pink galahs
And you can hear their incessant chattering from afar
The kangaroos get up and slowly hop around
As they graze near waterholes on dusty ground
Those that live in the darkening shadows
Awake to life in the Outback meadows
The campfire light gives an inviting glow
As the camp oven is cooking slow
It will take off the evening chill
A chandelier of stars fits the bill.

I'm falling out of place again
trying to hold true
to a life I never knew
I'm calling my faith pretend
as it gets me through
another day, I write away in ink blue
Ill in tendencies and sick of misery
will I invite company to sin with thee
I love solitude
but 'it' dislikes loneliness
Has a mind of its own
no control of it
as long as I'm inflicted then it
lives in me it lives indeed
What is it that tempts the weak?
is it something wicked or just we don't get it
up to us, or was it written in stone
well only Lord knows
Darkening skies blast colder challenges; the wise meet them with grace.
What brings hardships, shapes character; builds strength.
Face challenges well and be the best you can; success is yours.
