DANNY BOY
Danny Boy!
I'm not your kind of girl
You own a He-Man classic toy
Rapping slams like She-Ra
Your slam has no style
if I want to be put to death
I'll read your poems
See me yawning,
You cry nobody loves you
Trying to end your life support
Give up the depression you made it through an abort
Your slam was full of crap
Come on Danny you smell like a rat
Give yourself some dignity
Stop writing as if you're on crack
Don't tell me you got writers block
Right after you got hit by my glove
Stop writing as if you're in shock
Like pancakes, I made you flip flop
I'll use the excuse my computer just got hack
((LOL))
Take it easy on Danny C,
Do not hurt me, by thinking I am your enemy.
DANNY BOY # 2
Here you go Danny
it is time to move and play along.
I am amused by your poetry song.
Sorry it had to come to this ..
Lets play with my Barbie's
Before you really get real pisssss!! : )
Danny boy, you got me so far way up your ass.
You remind me of a boy from my first grade class.
How he loved his hot wheels, and picking on me.
Chasing one another was such a blast.
Until that one day I kicked his ass.
That is what he gets for trying to kiss on me.
Now here comes a new Danny boy slamming my way.
Danny I am older now so careful with what you say.
By the power of grace skull.
Was your way of making me laugh.
Danny stop pulling my piggy tails.
Every time your shooting gas.
What is that move you played, when you stung like a bee.
Last time you call yourself a butterfly girly boy.
And by the way your he-man slam had nothing on me.
I am just waiting here for you to destroy.
I will give it to you again one more time easily.
In the next round I am not going to toy with you boy
I am going to hurt you and make you realize you just got trashed.
I am going to make you cry like a little boy.
Step on your hot wheels, until they are completely smashed
Your sugar and jam is a set up for my next decoy.
Danny your hot wheel by now are burning ass
I will keep burning your rubber, to see how long you last.
Here's another head on collision for you to bash.
Buddy all hot wheels come to and end when they crash.
The Poet Destroyer is sending you a warning of a small whiplash
Not too long ago, back about 1929
Was conceived a boy, name of Danny Fine
Born on a Thursday, 24th of October
A day the stock market turned stone-cold sober
When the crash was over, five days later
The Fine family fortune had totally cratered
They'd lost all their wealth; Mr. Fine lost his job
Mrs. Fine had a breakdown; she wept and sobbed
Little Danny grew up in so horribly destitute
His only clothing for weeks was his birthday suit
His mother's milk dried up all-too-quickly
Poor Danny became anemic and sickly...
He struggled at home; he struggled at school
He was undernourished; life was so cruel
At age 15, he ran away from home
Determined to turn things around, all alone
He joined the Armed Forces, lied about his age
Helped liberate Dachau and Auschwitz, turning a page
Came to believe in himself in those heady days
Danny had learned, "Where there's a will, there's a way."
You may well guess Danny's now rich and/or famous
And sure he's succeeded and is no ignoramus
He's a regular guy with a wife and four kids
Who just can't move past something he long ago did --
After leaving home, he did not return again
A decision that's haunted him ever since then
For no matter the good deeds he's done for others
Danny Fine did not honor his father or mother
So the lucky among you, whose parents are still living
Honor them every moment; keep on giving and giving
Because once they have both breathed their very last
It has all been recorded; you can't change the past
You lived a hard life with tortured soul
Wanted more struggled to be whole
Addiction became your whole being
Your life has to have a meaning
I watched your tortured soul for years
Carrying bags with drink and beer
Hiding it more from yourself than me
The drunk is what you came to be
But there was much more to the man
Whose name was known to all as Dan
He had a heart that was bigger than most
Under the tough exterior he'd boast
He lived the life he wanted to live
If you were friend his shirt he'd give
His death to some came as a surprise
For some we watched his years of demise
So now I toast you here today
That is what you'd want I'd say.
I'm so tired of hearing that old cliche' ~
"It's water under the bridge," let it go.
Those words are never the right thing to say
when I'm already feeling kinda low
What if water under the bridge dries up
and can't carry my mistakes out to sea?
To forgiveness should I raise a full cup?
What cliche will I hear to comfort me?
"To err is human, to forgive, Divine"
Yet another cliche' in stark contrast
Self forgiveness often takes much more time
Only changing the future, not the past
Burning bridges is like playing with fire
All too often it leads to getting burned
Wisdom is the greatest pacifier
Cliche's are the lessons others have learned

My uncle is obnoxious
poking fun at me
but he doesn't think they're insults
he just thinks they're really funny
telling me it's my fault
even when it's not
but really it's not his fault
it's this condition that he's got
he doesn't really understand
that what he does is wrong
all cause of an extra chromosome
that he's had all along
it's called down syndrom
and it's nothing to laugh at
because he doesn't know it
he just doesn't get that
so I can't really get upset
when he calls me these names
because honestly he just doesn't get
that I don't want to play his games
Danny tell me how are you?
"I am fine Miss. Thank you."
Tell me who all stay with you?
"Dad, Mom and little baby Sue
Granny and Grandpa too"

For Eve Roper nursery rhymes contest
There once was a waiter named Danny
Who thought that he had a cute fanny
So he switched for his tip
And he wiggled his hip
The tip that he got was uncanny!
My grandson, I have yet to meet
That matters not to me.
For, even though I've seen you not
My mind and heart can see.
I wonder if your like your mom?
Do you now have blonde hair?
Or are you like your uncle?
Once had hair, now none is there?
I wonder if you softly cry
Or belt cries from your lungs?
Do you like hearing lullabies?
Just like your mom was sung?
I wonder if your smiling back
At faces, now you see
Though, sadly, I will never know
Together, we won't be.
I dream of you, and your sweet face
In dreams, I watch you sleep.
And, in those precious dreams I have
Are thoughts I'll always keep.
So, though you know me not at all
Perhaps, one day we'll know
But, meanwhile in my heart you'll stay
And, I won't let you go.
Well Danny, boy you've got me beat
I keep thinking that you really care
You hug me softly, take my hands
And send these butterflies in the air
You've heard my stories over again
Of failures and mishaps and pain
You tell me that you're different though
And invite me to sing in the rain
Danny boy, you stop my heart
Those eight minutes we talk each day
I wake up waiting for that bell
That'll signal you walking my way
And I can't look when you're coming close
I'm afraid that I'll forget to breathe
Every day it gets worse for me
And I wish the butterflies would leave
Danny, you're playing with my head
And I wish that you could see
I hide my feelings for my best friend
But It's taking all of me
Oh, Lynn, my love, the end is lowly calling me
From wake to sleep, the ebbing of my life
Our summer's gone and all your flowers are lying
But I must go and leave you, loving wife
Come to me, when all your gardens thriving
Or when our land is slushed with fallen snow
Yes I'll be here, whenever you come driving
I'll wait for you, my love, a long time yet to go
And if you come, when all your plants are dying
And they are still, as still, I, so may be
If you will, simply, come to the place I'm lying
And plant, a little flower there for me
I will hear, though soft you dig above me
And all my dreams will only be of thee
If you will come and whisper, you really love me
I'll restfully sleep in peace, until you come to me
You'll create your wealth on your own terms
As you take off for Peru
You swear that's an easier way to learn
I guess if anyone knows, it's you
You keep me in awe of your anarchy
And your non-conformist ways
You say ya gotta get out for your sanity
You'll be showin' us all up some day
'Cause ya can't be schooled with a text book
Nah, ya gotta be out in the crowd
Livin' it, smokin' it, drinkin' it in
And I'm sure you're gonna make it somehow
I got every faith in ya, Danny
You don't have to go prove it to me
I'll get off your back - to make room for your pack
'Cause there's a whole lotta world to see
Hittin' the road with "Hippie”
Gonna hitchhike, no need for a car
And you'll scrounge your meals
And make some fast cash
By singin' and playin' guitar
I wish you the best in your travels
You can't wait to set off on your own
But if everything starts to unravel
You'll always have a place in my home
Do not worry about a lot of sleazy men, yon female gender. Some of may be sleazy, but not necessarily crazy. We just happen to enjoy the finer things in life, within the law, of course.
Danny the dolphin loved his next of kin,
swimming in pods out in the big ocean,
sensing danger he'd be the first to respond,
helping humans to safety creating a special bond,
Noticing that humans were polluting the oceans,
one big ocean ring of litter was just a portion,
sick and tired of seeing all the dying sea life,
he decided he wanted to help out and do what was right,
So he started to eat and swallow the mostly plastic litter,
the plastic bottles being as hard to chew as a fiddle,
his family clearly telling him he would end up dying,
Danny knew the score and told them please stop prying,
Eventually the fishermen and boatmen caught on,
seeing Danny out at sea eating and floating along,
feeling that they had to help with the plastic clean up,
they brought their nets and helped Danny out,
The ocean was now as it was before there were plastic bottles,
thanks to Danny and his friends sacrifice which was colossal,
saving a lot of sea life making the ocean pristine and delightful,
human beings finally catching on by concientous recycling.
