Honest people act like meat. Tough or tender.
Liars act like gravy. They cover-up.

Humour is sometimes used to cover up sadness
To deal with events that interfere with our gladness

Premium Member Yellowstone Cover Up

There is a powerful stench of sulphur
and the ground trembles as pressure
builds up. Yellowstone is on brink of
eruption. You will not hear anything
through the media, they have been gagged.

Experts reckon it will change life here
whole continents wiped out by poisonous
gas. Africa certainly will be hard hit and
as for Europe that's any body's guess.
America will be hit the hardest and left devoid.

So why blanket this news? The world needs
to know so they can prepare. You can bet the
so called cream of society will be well prepared
with shelters in remote places with breathing apparatus.

Trying to sit it out whiles the masses fall like leaves.
Yet maybe in vain as it could take a century or more
to clear. It is not if, Yellowstone volcano will erupt, it is
When?

Sometime in the next 50 years this super
volcano will blew with catastrophic results.
Humans and all mammals could be wiped
out completely. Nature will in time recover
and some life forms will adapt.

Life will carry on regardless, in some form
or other. Nature will breathe a sigh of relief,
gone are the germs (us) that polluted, destroyed
and caused so much destruction. After all Nature gave
us many warnings which world leaders chose to ignore.

Premium Member The Mystery of Humpty Dumpty - the Cover Up

I heard the tale of Humpty Dumpty who sat on a wall,
and how he managed to have a terrible and fatal fall.

But let me be the first to set the record straight,
everything that happened that day was not fate.

Humpty was a rising and upcoming gymnast,
that could do flips on the balance beam really fast.

He had enemies that hated him to the core,
they wanted to be Him,and so much more.

So one day they greased down the infamous wall,
Dumpty practiced there everyday, they knew he’d fall.

Until this day no one knows the true story,
It was the biggest lie told in modern history.

My father was a king's horseman and a gymnast,
and helped kill him and think of a lie that would last.

Premium Member Best Cover Up Your Face

Are you ever serious, some people have wondered
Sometimes, if I haven't had a really good slumber
Not grumpy but be safe
Better cover up your face
Coz I might flail about if I can't find my uppers

Premium Member Humour Can Cover Up Sadness

Humour is sometimes used to cover up sadness
To deal with events that interfere with our gladness
Our body's defence
To protect us against
Depression when it bombards us with blackness

Just a Cover Up

You may see me in nothing in black,
That doesn't mean my heart and soul is black too,
its just makeup.
Just a small cover up.
If you want to know the real me,
Look into my eyes...
There,
nothing hides.
My smile hides my pain,
of all the rude remarks that are thrown my way,
my sleeves hide all the scars,
of when times got to tough.
And my room is where i go,
When the going gets rough.

Cover Up

Keep the secret that everything is fine
we don't see what we cannot hear

Cover your precious ears

The tears drip down
blending with the blood

Everything goes as it should

We fear for the worst
but we're never prepared
for the things that happen next
in a twisted spiral that is our life

We expect death and woe
Friend turned the foe
But will it ever end?
No one can ever know
because there is nothing that will show
when the hurt will end

If we keep the secret
that everything is fine

Faster seems that the time has passed

We cut away the shame
cry away the pain

Cover up your bruises with beauty cream

Antiqugate: the Great Abyss Cover Up

Lay atop our great abyss an ancient tapestry,
an ornate picnic rug, upon which many will sit,
exhorting the tales of its tattered threads.
Tall tales of scholars of sort,
that made deities of fortune tellers.
Gluttonous sitters will long rest
on the laurels of scholars ago,
oppressing other sitters at will,
like captains sailing their crew to
an isolated island of ideology,
overseeing famine to precede it with fear.
Many will die for the vanity of a threaded theology.

Threadbare is each edge of this ancient tapestry,
a much trodden path, upon which many will stand,
thinking their thoughts fixed, free and fair.
They will proclaim their opposition
to the sitters and their story tellers.
They will listen with their lips,
marvel with their fingertips.
Most standers will become long
voyeurs of the sitters’ struggles,
moving in an instant, one image to the next,
shouting the glory of their freedoms,
which they will fence off with a barricade.

In places worn is the weave of this ancient tapestry,
scattered windows at which all the wisdoms will gather,
wondering why and wandering far.
Endeavouring to understand,
as only passing through dwellers,
here and there, in our great abyss,
they will embrace the exploration,
not fixed upon a destination.
Wisdoms will long for this antiquity;
great of its time; not to provide
an adornment beneath which
our great undetermined abyss may hide.

U Can'T Cover Up

See today you are left alone
With ur painful decision and with ur phone .

I told you that your glamour ,your style & that stupid fame was just because of me
But you thought I'm insanely after you just because of these .

Every time you broke my heart & asked for a second chance
And when i accept your apologise ,at my back i find u calling me a dumb & stupid man.

I thought you are still a cute little kid but when i found u rocking on bed with someone else,
Believe me now i just hate kids..!!

I'm completely shattered like mirror .

As fallen leaves can not get back to the tree again
Same u can never enter in my life again.

Today though i have numerous buddies
But i can't express my tears of pain in front of one of them
Not because they r not loyal, they r loyal
But baby a true happiness u can never hide
And a true pain u can never express.

But i try my best to express me through writings,to give a way to my pain to flow out of my mind
But every time when i end my story i found me again with a new story !
