Twilight Composers - Repost

~

Here on the night before yesterday’s dream,
twilight composers retreat
Laughing at whispers a’ flow on the stream,
happily taking a seat

Practicing meadowlark lyrics to sing,
strumming a toadstool in tune
Awaiting the light that the fireflies bring,
blinking a wink at the moon

Tulips with tambourines gather around,
spider web chandeliers glow
Shade tree sonatas, a wonderful sound,
echoing up from below

Pine cone recitals and blueberry sighs,
star dust ovations in rhyme
Choruses sung beneath velveteen skies,
harmonic three quarter time

Orchestral canopies glisten above,
melodic rainbows the view
Performing songs written solely of love,
played on this evening for you

I reposted this one because.....I really liked this one. : )

Ravings of a Piano Player(Sad Composers Say Too Much)

Listen to what the man has SAID
Religion is just more or less DEAD
Sir Elton is singing the BLUES
He wants to share with everyone this tragic NEWS
The conclave is not doing -HIT
"Jesus was so full of IT"
Dance to the ravings of a Honky Tonk MAN
Who likes to eat Doritos as fast as he CAN
"The World is close to wwIII-
God,I'm afraid,does nothing for ME"
Reginald DWIGHT wants to show us the LIGHT

"Throw away your Bible but put on my cd TONIGHT"

Heed the words of the Crododile ROCK:

Many Famous Composers Played It Beautifully

It's the most famous of all musical instruments,
with shining black and white keys
that make beautiful sounds
to delight the composers' minds.

Many famous composers played it beautifully
in opera houses, schools and churches...
large audiences listened and admired their creativity
while their spirits soared to the Heavens!

Verdi and Mozart wrote from it as if they were lost in contemplation,
spending long hours, sometimes days, writing sumptuous melodies;
see a well-kept lead sheet of the times...
to get that feeling of awe and creation!

If many famous composers played it beautifully,
can I do the same and amaze others as they did?
It's always been a fantasy standing in front of a crowd,
but playing it to myself in a quite room it's pure ecstasy!

Today that musical tradition still continues
getting more popular than ever
and it's widely used in songs and symphonies;
I have tried it and learned it well.

Out of the few instruments I've played,
I prefer this one to compose as I play it...
its awesome feeling can't be matched
by any other means: it's so obsolete!

Devotion Poem. MY PLEAS

(For Jim) ***
I’ll call out for you
All the enchanted,
The splendors
    all usually
    unwitnessed by
    the average day’s
Noticed sights and
The sweeter songs
    blue butterflies
    hear, and which
    sound unto
Composers’ ears days
    before they’re
    written.
I’ll plead colors of joy
    encircle you like a
Future-come more
Than this present
    noon…
A future drawing of itself
Reborn, with you
A Phoenix rising
On the dawn of peace.

This is a poem that has no end…
and as I wait, will please find none.

Premium Member A Symphony of Nine

Our capacity appears to be
a maximum of nine symphonies
Beethoven, Schubert, Mahler; Dvorák too
bravely tried to go beyond the ninth
before early, they all passed away.
The list; longer than those mentioned here;
composers; who never wrote to ten.
Was nine the limit of their vision?
Or, can we not comprehend a tenth?

Composers Classic

Act out in script the ways you love me
thru rhythm and rhyme say you care
sing me till you perfect
me thru your voice
sing me over and over again
be best to know
be best in show
sing me, sing me in song
quiet the audience with your voice
let the music to have it's voice
compliment the composers thought
sing me. sing me, you'll know when to start
chose your voice
soprano?
tone me to alto
but when the range is high,
be you make them fell, make them feel!
seduce the audience draw them in
clearer and clearer
don't try to be there friend. sooth the words with your tone
sing the song til the music's gone
than when the conductor starts back in
make the music and word to blend
sing me, sing me, sing me!
sing me to you feel like you love me.
