Clarissa's Valentine Diary of Passion- Serial Acrostic

CLARISSA’S VALENTINE DIARY OF “PASSION”

February 2009

Pretty in red, her tears start to flow
All dressed up and nowhere to go
She got dumped after he had his way
Sweet revenge follows this Valentine’s Day
Into the river his body will go
One knife, an alibi, no-one will know
Now what better day for his bad blood to flow

to be continued…..

February 2010

Proudly relieved that she didn’t get caught
Alibi solid, her story they bought
Sweet Valentines’ Day will be all she wished for
She’s found a new love, couldn’t ask for much more
Incidentally she’s hoping and praying that he
On this day will make her a new bride-to-be
Nothing good lies ahead, if he doesn’t agree.

to be continued…..

February 2011

Perfect in white, this she didn’t foresee,
Alone in the church, where the devil is he?
Standing alone in her wedding gown
Somebody whispered the groom had fled town
Into the limo so no-one would know
Once again Valentine tears start to flow
Nobody dumps her, she won’t let this go.

to be continued….

February 2012

Payback is lurking, his receipt she found
A step behind him she’s Canada bound
She has revenge written all over her face
Smith and Wesson, in her case
It might convince him to take her advice
Or face consequences, without thinking twice
Nasty Clarissa, will he pay the price?

to be continued……

A Brand New Day

Dedicated to my dear friend, Clarissa Chung

Would you stroll with me along this lovely walkway?
Let us enjoy the freshness of a brand new day
The chirping of blue birds is soothing to the ears
The fragrance of flowers is drawing us near

You've seen my garden before; do you remember?
The little girl is here; do you remember her?
Would you walk with me to that beautiful white swing?
Come now; for us, she has been patiently waiting

The tears she now sheds are no longer from sorrow
But joy floods her eyes with hope for tomorrow
She's no longer hoping for death; she wants to live
For her loving Saviour has helped her to forgive

He has forgiven her; why should she hate herself?
No longer does she hide her shame on a dark shelf
She's out in the garden; the one like Eden
At the cross of Jesus; she's laid down her burdens

She just wants to thank you for sharing her burdens
For reaching out to her in godly compassion
You have touched her with sisterly affection
The love of God has forged and sealed that connection

Clarissa

A woman of strength and determination;
A benevolent figure of inspiration.
Resilient, valiant, courageous, honest;
Selfless, sincere, loyal and modest.

Living for others with often no gain;
Despite personal demons of grievance and pain.
A compassionate philanthropist, committed to care;
Born with such qualities, remarkably rare.

These hard days at present seem
empty and dead,
With feelings of despair and desolate dread.
But reflect on yourself, be strong and believe it;
And lo and behold, you’ll one day achieve it.

Here to win, born to succeed;
A huge prosperous destiny guaranteed.
Have faith and hope in what you aspire,
Be kind to yourself and what you desire.

Like a Phoenix you’ll rise from the flames you’ve created
You’ll be thankful and proud of the time you have waited.

Hi I'm Clarisa and live in a place called time.
Where fairies live and come to you in dreams.
Wings that take me high in the sky.
My gown of white and golden locks of hair.

Wounds and Love

Dedicated to my dear friend, Clarissa Chung, for inspiring the poem

Are there wounds that run too deep?
Would those wounds completely heal?
Your courage you try to keep
Your bleeding wounds you conceal

You've opened your heart to love
But your heart keeps getting hurt
'Should I hide my heart in a glove?'
'Why invest my heart and effort?'

'Should I protect my heart with walls?'
'Keep myself safe from great pain?'
Suffering came after the Fall
We get hurt again and again

Christ opened His heart to us
We've spurned Him again and again
His love was deep and courageous
On the cross He bore our pain

It's the cross that gives us courage
To break down our protective walls
To free our hearts from their cage
God's love causes walls to fall

God's love invigorates our hearts
We love others with His love
It is God's love we impart
Divine love that comes from above

I may hurt you; you may hurt me
But I'll still love you, my friend
God's love resides within me
A love that knows no time and end

Olive and Pickle

Olive and Pickle were two pet rats
As naughty as can be
Always up to mischief
And trying to climb free

The rats were cute with big round eyes,
And long thick wormy tails,
But not the kind you’re thinking of,
Cos they’re for boys and males.

Pickle had such love for Olive
She was her closest friend
She held her in such high regard
Yet drove her round the bend!

Olive was a cheeky rat
And always stealing food
Yet never kept it from her mate
For Olive wasn’t rude.

There was another person
In the girls’ equation
But not so ratty as the friends
Although a close relation.

Their human friend I’m talking of
Was their wise and clever owner
She was a lover of all God’s Beasts
A lovely hippy Stoner

Clarissa kept them warm and safe
And free from Ill infection
She gave them love and loyalty
And wonderful protection.
