He Claims Not To Be a Geek

He claims not to be a geek,
Although it has been heard,
That he’s in the science clique.

He denies that he’s a nerd,
But if you quickly check,
His Sci-Fi interest is inferred.

He says he doesn’t like “Star Trek”,
But if you block the TV set,
He’ll often crane his neck.

He says he’s not a dweeb and yet,
Ask him about his PhD,
He’ll know the answer you can bet.

If he’d stop denying it he’d see,
I’m just as big a geek as he!

Karma Claims the Plumes

Karma Claims the Plumes

It came easy to him…
the knowledge
the learning
Counting was such fun
Seemed he always won
Boastful and proud
Peacocking around

Until the day
he met with “chance”
Luck no longer
his fair maiden
Wages tossed
on fickle cards
held in karma’s hand

Counting lost its count…
knowledge groaned
learning moaned
Fate’s ugly toss
Plucked his plumes
Alone he now sits
in his tiny room

Premium Member His Peaceful Claims

We’re told of your peaceful philosophies
yet hear your voice of hate,
As we wonder what kind of fools you mistake us for

You champion the cause of human rights
And preach how we should love
Yet it’s evident your simple mind
Know’s not what it’s speaking of

You insult those to the right of you
With obscenities and bias claim
Telling followers to hate the rich
Because somehow they’re to blame....

for children without fathers -
and mothers who love their drugs
You preach your words of justice
While praising violence done by thugs

Having murders in the streets,,,
and hungry homeless is not cool
But blaming successful people
Are the rantings of a fool

Corporations are made of people
Who go to work each and every day
Preforming the task required of them
Because they have bills to pay

Instead of bringing unity
Showing pathways which will work
You encourage riots in the streets
Proving you are just a jerk

Where does your ignorant bias end

Claims and Counter Claims

Boko Haram sect claimed to have killed many and caused distractions
The government denounced this as wishful thinking and untrue
The masses condemned this act of killing and called for drastic actions
The destruction of this terrorist sect is long overdue.

Claims

What would I do if I was slapped by a stranger?
I’m terribly, strongly, dealt with by hunger
Would accept help from someone much younger
If you do not know these answers
Why do you claim you know me?
        B:
Who would I call if I need advice?
I fall sick to help out and be my nurse
To liven my day adding some spice
Cook for me, even if it’s just rice
You don’t know, so why do you think you do?
           C:
What do you think are the answers to these questions?
My best friends, foods, subjects, favorite colors
What about my siblings, parents, my cousins
No? You don’t know
So why do you claim you know?
        D:
What did you think I would say?
That I am in this game you want to play
I just know definitely not in this day
Having the liberty, so if I may
The last on this I want to say
Why do you claim you know me?

Premium Member Rocking Chair

The watcher on her porch, alone,
Where Fortune lived in days bygone,
She knows the stories; knows the names
Of all the miners and their claims.

She came out here a slip of four
Calling it home for ninety more.
Shotgun in hands, she rocks her chair,
Guarding the miners and their claims.

She waits for packrats, dawn to dusk,
Who’d cart her town off brick and board,
Taking the markers of her life
With all the miners and their claims.

She loved too well the life that flamed
To say goodbye and limp away
Down dusty streets where whirlwinds play
‘Round all the miners and their claims.

The secrets of the sage-clad hills
Are safely stored inside her head;
Beyond the reach of stranger’s probes
Of all the miners and their claims.

Behind her vague blue eyes, she dreams
Her dreams of better days to come,
When smiling Fortune comes back home
To all the miners and their claims.

Claims

Must be hard out here?
For you of course
Pigmentless
Living the life of a white man.
"Hardest thing to be right now is a white male"
Excuse me if i offended you.
My mention of slavery must have repremanded you.
"We dont make the same choices our ancestors do "
To envoke that feeling of remorse
That remorse my ancestors never got ,
But you forgot.
We did not ask to be brought here.
Put on display when no-one showed dismay
Enough about then , lets speak on today.
"I voted for Obama"
The international non-racist phrase ?
This is what we look like now days.
Because half is better than none at all.
Half of you and half of me.
None the less half is still to much to be.
Soon followed a fuss.
Never just a president ,
A BLACK president.
Create your own history
Reason ?
Lack of Democracy.
Opression , Mother of slavery.
Racism , daughter.
To be beaten ,killed and raped in casuality.
2017 ,black is the easiest thing to be.
Deluted by revolution.
Young black slaves march on.
Paying your masa to be owned
Voluntarily shackled by feet.
When your ancestors fought for relief.
Fordged in steel now bounded in leather.
Brands burt into their bodies ,
Now burnt into your ego,limited editions.
It hasnt changed .
The name you carry
Your owner
Your masa
The name of the human that held your freedom .
But masa's day came,
When will Jordan's.

Tall Claims

You become a chair.
A dream sits in you
for a graphic detail of
pelvis. A trophy ?

Was it undecorous to present
a cadaver walking on the earth ?
A serial killer wants a plaque
on his grave after the verdict.

Saber-rattling has started,
unplucking the lovers of game.
A peltate shield in hushed silence
covers the undressing.

The prisoner of words tempers with
a mask to become a bruise.

No Bloom Claims Honey Is Mine

Honey Bee wanders,
From flower to flower,
Seeks nectar from their buds;
Fluid from several blossoms,
Once in tummy,
Are mixed in one;
Honey of sugary stuff,
A sweetest viscous;
No bloom claims it's from mine;
Like a man strives in life,
from stage to stage,
In bad to good;
Seeks experience,
learns to live the life,
It's the sweetest wisdom,
makes his kismet;
No deed claims destiny by mine;
Like several baptise in holy water,
commit to live for God,
follow Love, passion,
learn compassion,
Live together, weaves one hive;
a lesson to live in one,
Live as one, a social Sweetness;
Humanity is honey of human race;
no man claims founded by him;

Claims As Best of All

claims as best of all
                                   from ancient yea till today
                                         human races fall

                                         refinement of few
                                 some become by products in
                                          nature's factory

                                       history speaks truth
                                living styles have only changed
                                        less get perfection
