Silent Wind Chimes
Silent wind chimes

Rain still falls
upon my shoulders,
green leaves slow dance
with crystal droplets
to the enchanting melody of
saturated skies singing,
spider webs wear liquid diamonds,
shimmering chandeliers swaying
like silent wind chimes on the breeze
and puddles act as mirrors
where I see my smile
as I head down a muddy path,
leaving lonely...

Premium Member Seasons of the Chimes
The winds of spring made the wind chimes sing
 As flowers bloomed anew
The bells on the chimes began to ring
 And bird songs soon ensued

 Wind chimes played right along
As summer breeze blew through the trees
Now they blew a mellow song
 To...

Wind Chimes
The earth moaned
under the heat. On the porch
wicks drowned in melted
citronella candles
under limp wind chimes.
Withered vegetation drooped.

Finally –
a grey morning mist
gently
moistened cracked soil. The parched land
lifted
its head,
listened
as the wind chimes began to dance.
The thunderclap
announced the resurrection;
the downpour
was redemption.

I hear them... their sweet lullaby
     strummed by a gentle breeze.
How lovely, this fine summer day,
     wind blowing through my hair,
listening to restful wind chimes
     play their gentle, mystic tunes
as if singing to...

The Song of Wind Chimes
Somewhere there is an unused chime
disconnected from its peers.
It lies in untouched, safely silent solitude.
It's veneer is pristine and shiny,
but within is a hollow vacancy.

Elsewhere there is an incomplete wind chime
missing some quintessential part.
It lives in unknowingly incomplete, happy harmony.
Each chime is...

Crystal wind chimes to hang outside
To bring cheer when her brother died
She’d hear the tinkling with each breeze
Melodic tones put her at ease
And helped to cast her cares aside

For so long she’d stood by his side
But God had listened as she cried
And he urged me...

My Soul With Art Chimes
The heart words its sweet lines
Pen marks papers and has tough times
Passion and duty, each one whines
And my soul with art chimes
These are a teacher poet's rhymes.

Wind chimes

When ten thin tinkling tin things twinkle and tingle in the wind
twinkling and tinkling the ten thin tin things make a tingling tintinnabulation of joy

The grandchildren think I’m off my head.......

Throughout the day, here he is…
Leisurely strolling the fringes of my mind
Crowding out a thousand thoughts
Come night he haunts my every dream

When daylight seeps through curtains drawn
Dispersing warmth upon lazy, fluttering eyes
I awake to wander the day with breathless joy!
No doubt, I...

Sing With Chimes
Semovedly thine voice shall have no echo to hear.
Inly there be only hollowness to see no distant.
Natheless hardy wind, thou shall be inconsistent.
Gradual flow upon thee, wilts bring many a tear.
Wellaway can be withered upwards into cheer.
Iwis my heart and thou will bloom constant.
Thole stint...

Oriental Wind Chimes
Laying here in the cut with eyes closed,
listening to the soft, tinkling sound
of the Oriental wind chimes
My mind is calmed by peaceful meditations
In my heart, I feel universal love ...
rhythmic beat of African drums
Dark continent chants,
majestic silence of Mt. Kilimanjaro
heard off in the distance
And in...

"Wind Chimes"

No I don’t like music
for my rhymes

I don’t require
your music,
I like listening to
the vacuum
inside my mind

wind chimes
ghost percussion
the haunting
tinkling keys
the glass slippers breaking

the pieces
washed away
with the floating
purple agapanthas
on salt seaspray

ashes from a fire,...

Broken Wind Chimes
Dangling from the tree I can see,
Broken wind chimes that still sing.
They just hang on by a split string.
Sending a harmony of tunes to thee.

Their tones and vibrations are a bit broken for me.
I listen and I ponder for what tunes they can bring.
From...
