The Song of Wind Chimes

Listen to poem:
Somewhere there is an unused chime disconnected from its peers. It lies in untouched, safely silent solitude. It's veneer is pristine and shiny, but within is a hollow vacancy. Elsewhere there is an incomplete wind chime missing some quintessential part. It lives in unknowingly incomplete, happy harmony. Each chime is chipped and worn but filled with joyous music. If ever they should be united, Ah, the song their collisions will sing. 8.27.18 For Contest: Wind Chimes Sponsored by: Edward Ibeh

Thank you. I almost didn't post the audio. Funny how your own voice sounds weird when you hear it back.
