Why I Loved C D's Poem: Crystal Wind Chimes
Crystal Wind Chimes
Crystal wind chimes to hang outside
To bring cheer when her brother died
She’d hear the tinkling with each breeze
Melodic tones put her at ease
And helped to cast her cares aside
For so long she’d stood by his side
But God had listened as she cried
And he urged me to give her these
Crystal wind chimes
Think of him as crystals collide
Soft, sweet whispers blessings confide
No longer does her warm heart freeze
She hears his voice upon each breeze –
Crystal wind chimes

I loved reading this beautiful poem of Carolyn, as it shows her generous and kind heart of giving that perfect gift to someone who would need it in her time of grief. The "crystal wind chimes" serve as a perfect reminder of the brother whom the person has lost, and keeping that in mind, Carolyn gifts it to her. The rhymes are perfect and it is indeed a wonderful rondeau. Wind chimes enchant me and the picture of "crystal wind chimes" simply made this poem irresistible and an instant favourite of mine.
