Seasons of the Chimes
The winds of spring made the wind chimes sing
As flowers bloomed anew
The bells on the chimes began to ring
And bird songs soon ensued
Wind chimes played right along
As summer breeze blew through the trees
Now they blew a mellow song
To set the soul at ease
As butterflies fluttered along garden walls
Which with gnarly vines were clad
There came a hint of the winds of fall
And the wind chimes song grew sad
Then winter came, its song to claim
And the wind chimes sounds were shrill
As things began to freeze on window panes
The wind chimes song grew still
