Best Chasteness Poems
Her dark hair, laced with silver strands,
cascaded once with sable glint,
then lost (with drifting of the sands
of time) the chasteness of its tint.
It still grows long, but she has kept
her dark hair laced with silver strands
pulled back, attractively upswept,
at times enwrapped in stylish bands.
She misses days of few demands,
the ragtop down, her locks wind-tossed.
Her dark hair laced with silver strands
reminds her now of all she's lost. . .
She combs it out in dying light
of dusk and dreams a lover's hands
were touching it this moon-streaked night -
her dark hair, laced with silver strands.
First his long and tender gaze. Then came his loving caresses
followed by little kisses, delicate dewdrops of sensuous sweetness
that he planted gently along my forehead, my cheeks,
the back of my neck, and around my ear lobes.
Happiness consumed me!
Butterfly kisses he showed me
with the long lashes of his beautiful dark eyes
fluttering like tiny wings against my own.
I giggled next as he rubbed his nose to mine;
The Eskimo way, he said.
As he stroked my back, his fingers lingered at my waist.
Unlike others before him, he did not grab for my body
with the clumsiness of a boy.
He let his smooth kisses linger too
so when at last I felt his tongue inside my mouth,
it was the sweetest of invasions. . . . .
Neither did he press for more than I was prepared to give,
for I was a woman-child, still clinging to chasteness,
and though I’d known him but a short time,
this magical moment was to be our one night together
before he returned to a country where I would never go.
Our brief time would become the fondest of my memories -
one to be rekindled time and time again through poetry.

(this is honestly a new poem but I've written of this
moment so many times, it looks like all those other poems!!)
(To one’s Birthplace)
In the glory of the morning
just to see the sunrise
take the place of the moon,
at this time I love the best
this memory this place truly blest.
Through the ages one had not forgotten
blue skies some that turned to grey,
knowing one day we’ll meet again
in this land that holds no sway.
Yes indeed I need to walk again
within the balmy moor,
meet my reflection from the past
sense once more locked away happiness.
Hear the dawn chorus of the song thrush
a rendition of a morning tide trill,
that seemed to say
‘forever I love you’.
Visit the old cottage in the dale
where one’s sensibility sweeps,
like the spring clean broom
upon a naive childhood.
Relive the chasteness
of dandelion seeds floating
in the warmth of dancing light,
spreading the message of rebirth.
Walk amidst the mist that mingled in ceremony
a subdued veil upon conformity,
stumble across sinews of dewy tears
glistening within verdancy.
Endure the reverberation
of rhythmic waters
over moss riddled rocks
beneath the old stone railway bridge.
Meander again upon the hillsides
where meadows collide in dishevelled jade
and one’s over indulgence
of ‘Pure Nostalgia’
cements a portrait of foreverness!

Father Egboro we
salute you.
With cap from head
we bow in obeisance.
You shared with us
the vast ocean of
your knowledge.
Your agitated acts of
chasteness and
fatherhood, must not
fade unsaid.
I saw with my
eyes,corrections
made,
with my ears i heared
advice and counsel.
From the dawn of
purchasing to the
dusk of Business
Research Methodology
i never lacked.
Now a graduate i
am,well instructed by
lords and fathers,an
appreciation was all i
could give.
MR FELIX EGBORO
am saying thank you
sir
with kneels bended to
the ground.
with a warm smile do
rise me up.
Wildflowers hesitate,
Breathing in the clear air
Inspiration so brilliant, alive
With whispers of faith
Purity in gulps of gasping, panting
Flavors of chasteness
Wholesomeness...
Transparent feelings, blessed
Healing all the past…
With clean, cool innocence
In the meadows,
Over the mountains,
Tiny petals emerge, soft
Tender reflections
Of the earth’s heartfelt
Laughter, its peace
Serenity so blessed, so honest
It feels like a smile
Falling down from the heavens
Exalting the One who created
Every petal, each stem
All the laughter from Him
Poured out on an earth
Too lonely, too timid
To know a God this big
God who is like a gentle embrace
Yet, fills up the whole place
With His love, His stirring, His spirit
His grace and sacredness
In the dreams,
Coloring the reflections
In gaping grape and soft rays
Of tangerine sunrises
Pink skies on the horizon
Where mystery smiles questions
Through the impressions
Stifling a sigh, a sign
That life has just begun
For the one who believes
He sees the rising Son as the
Caress of a hand so big
So wise and kind and sure
That He is like light
Raining hope from the skies
Painting hearts in faith
Baptizing souls in amazing peace
He is the silence and the shout
And He never leaves anyone out
Of the song He sings,
The song of redemption
Faith’s melody sparkling through
The night sky like pearls
Glimmering in the heavens
Reaching down to remind
He is alive and He shines into
The one who listens to His
Direction, His way is prayer
Praise and worship so sacred
It affects every pore,
Each sweating drop, echoing
His wisdom, His love
That knows only generosity
Skies soften who know
He comforts, heals and radiates
The meaning of grace, peace
Love that is so alive
It feels like the trembling
Thunders and caress
Of rain, soft and flowing
Down to touch the spirit
With aliveness that thrives
On giving, filling hearts
With gentle breaths…
Love so radiant it lights
Up the entire world
With His glory, His splendor
Magnificence so praiseworthy
Praise Him …
Eternally, wholly
Forever and ever!
Years passed, withal you stood ascendant.
Though many were their concupiscent sexual enticements,
Heretofore you remained earnest in unassailable chasteness.
Little did you know that your undoer is ready to strike at you.
At first sight, your heart intermitted;
On hearing her voice, your soul got excited.
At first felt exhaled breath, you veins got scorched.
At first touch, your mind got into nigrification.
Sensationally, you were ready to grant all my thoughts.
Why just a whistle could kill a soldier like you, you could not fathom.
After things happened, thence your enchainment emerged.
You turned slave but to the lustfulness.
The sight, breath, flesh, and touch became lords over you.
Without regrets, they pleasantly caress you to go against the Lord’s wills.
Now, whence cometh your redemption?
Voltaire says, “...a man is free the moment he wants to be”.
Only you can free yourself from your self-created incarceration
Set yourself liberated from the captivity of your negativity.

I shall find you amongst many
And I will know that you are there.
It’s your voice, it’s your fragrance
It’s my mind playing games with me
I will sustain and know that you are there.
I shall find you amongst many
In your whiteness, purity of soul
In the magnitude of virtues and chasteness
It’s my mind playing games with me
I will sustain and know that you are there.
Colorless tears are like words of a poem, unspoken
With all the shades of that colorless tears, I shall, one day.
Lost in today,
found in tomorrow
tears roll like silver
lace beaded swans
Chasteness wanton,
timestamped forever
