Premium Member Not Ready For The End
I am not ready
For the end ...
Though the road may wind
And it may bend ...

And if it might
Even fork in two,
I will carry on
Just as I do

Steadily stepping
Both here and there,
A trail of footprints
Without a care

And if one day
I walk alone,
Will be no reason
To weep and moan

Though the road may wind
And it may...

Carry On
Author Dana Redricks
August 14, 2018

All the pain in my life
only God can give
me the passion and
the desire to carry on
in this pain, so long
No one can walk my
journey, or wear my shoes
only I can sing my song
every day is a struggle
only God can give me
the strength to carry on
It’s hard to be strong in
the...

Premium Member Carry On Tabby
Small furry, stripy, cuddly puss makes
Lots of noise as the early dawn breaks
And so the reluctant household wakes.
“Get out of bed now,
Come down and feed us for all our sakes,
We’re on our last miaow.”

The household can but do as it’s told,
This tabby cat is exceedingly bold.
So from my bed and into the cold
I creep...

Carry On
I know that no one would really care,
Despite the lies I am told on a daily basis.
Though I stand here, right in front of your face,
Would you notice if my life was in a crisis?

Am I still here to all you people?
Am I too negative for you people?
Sorry I can no longer...

Carry-On
Sometimes they buy them
Other times they kidnap them
Because they need small babies
To carry their drugs
All over the world these dead
Babies go, cradled in arms

Carry On, Little Red Bird
Silly creature, are you not?
a witness to everything
Silently waiting, watching, gathering
all, yes, but not receiving

Menacing little thing, are you not?
the missed crook of your head
Listening
and no one knows what you relay back

Beautiful drop of blood, you are...
not seen against the trees
You’re not ignored,
but simply a glacial, crimson breeze

You sing a song that knows,
a song...

Carry On
© 2009 (Jim Sularz)

There is a way to save our Earth,
from rain-swept plains to desert’s thirst,
and moonlit lakes to rivers fast and wide.

From canyons carved with nature’s hands,
to soft and fickle hills of sand,
    ...

Premium Member Carry On
The scars have faded
The opaque mask I wore melts away
It took a lifetime to get here
At a crossroads in my life
So many people I've known
So many people who slowly disappeared
Like breath on a frozen day
I'm ready to show the world
That I'm ready to carry on
Yeah, I'm ready to carry on

False dreams drifted to the bottom...

Carry On
No matter what you are going through, do not let life get the best
of you. Take up ypur greer and put it on, live your life, be tough and
strong, just carry on.

Yes carry on, live life to its fullest and nothing less and God will truly
take care of the rest and...

Carry-On
I hate to check my luggage
When I’m about to fly.
I much prefer to carry-on
And here are reasons why -

My suitcase can’t get very lost
If it’s within my reach
And no one’s hands have riffled through,
An oft-occurring breach.

But mostly it’s a case of time –
I really hate to wait
Until the baggage carousel
Begins to activate.

And so...

A Right Carry On
A lot can change in 10 years,
Especially in the reliability of your plumbing,
When it comes to flushing out your system,
In preparation for a Colonoscopy.

My first while a bit of a mission,
The pipes were soon running clear,
To the satisfaction of both doctor and colour chart
As instructions followed to the letter,
Liquid intake measured to the last millilitre,
All...

Carry- On
It doesn’t take a genius
With a pair of seeing eyes
And the slightest bit of judgment
To calculate a size.

Yet, I am really puzzled
My feeling is so strong
My mind is just so boggled
How so many can be wrong.

Whenever I must fly somewhere
I’m careful and I’m leery
I usually have one case to check
And a small one I can...

Carry On Our Marry Way
We carry on our marry way
Tomorrow is a new day
and stop to say, "There goes summer,"
watch the girls walk with dogs
catching fleas with mortgages not paid,
and there goes the maid
cleans house with jewelry in her pockets,
Tip-Toe across the market and into the square,
and watch the strippers dance in pairs.
Tears roll down the street
as happiness...

Carry On Films
When I was young, I loved to see
The Carry On films on TV.
Their humour risqué, slapstick, fun,
And every line a clever pun.
With Kenneth Williams, Sid James,
And Hattie Jacques: all household names.
In hospital, a camp or fort,
The Carry On team looked for sport.
I think of them and start to smile;
I miss their zany madcap style.

Jack...
