Best Caramel Poems
**** For my Caramel Swirl****
Cinnamon flavored,
my caramel love.
Soft inside with a tough candy shell.
My after work
desert.
A cure for my sweet tooth,
not a pervert,
I yearn for her vermouth
Name held until contest is over.....

Dipped in melted caramel
Carmesi apple
Sprinkled with nuts and candies

I’m tapping my feet to the music escaping an old man’s saxophone
On main street
I can feel the raindrops hit my hand
I roll them in my palms like marbles
From my childhood
They apologize to me
And I ask for what?
They say, for making you feel smaller than you are
I look up at the sky, water like whites from an egg
Sizzling on my skin
The sun breaking like the yolk
Like me
The old man’s sax is drowning
Filling up with storm
I decide the rain is too much and disappear
Into a coffee shop
I’m at the counter waiting when
The man in front says
“What’s a pretty girl like you doing all alone?”
It ends in a question but not the one he said
Out loud.
Blink 182 cuts like static through the silence
I try to force my mind to the song but
I can only hear the lyrics
“Friday night and” “Nobody likes you”
My smile is already frozen from the cold
But he makes it shatter like a mirror and
Gather itself on the floor.
The server asks my order, slowly
My face rewinds like a VCR and
My smile puts itself back together
“Caramel Macchiato, please.”
I trudge to my home smelling of cardiac arrest
Brush my teeth
Spit out the coffee and distaste on my breath
At night I dream of bowing in front of red gold curtains
Costume only on my lips
A playbill
With my name an elipseys from the heaviest role
Happiness
People throw roses for fake smiles.
Through the corridors of bare trees,
I can see caramel colored fields
Shimmering in the sun
I stand on green grass, left-over from summer
Before, I walk on the crunching puddles
Already frozen with ice
I am in the middle of the seasons
That are saying goodbye and hello
Readying for a long winter walk
Through many passages of time
With so far to go

You're radiant
Your hair
Upon your crown
Untamed
Like a halo
Slightly blushing
Mouth
That seems to beckon
For a petal's touch
Your grand spectacles
Framing your gaze like the finest
Lovely gown
And your gentle satin
Caramel
Glow
I hadn’t known you
From my fables
They said your glow was
Ivory bright
Like creamy
With
No sugar
No spice
No cocoa
And here you stand
Darling
How much warmer
How much sweeter
In the chill of winter
A radiant delightful
Satin caramel
Princess
.
Around mine thoughts
The most sweet at that
her tender words
her
candied odors
Mine duke's digits
stick
to her caramel soft skin
as i unwrap
the depth of
her sweetness
A caramel coated promise on a wisened old man's couch. Living in a sugar coated world
falling into an oblivious mass of thinness and frailty. Not yet strong--Tough, no; shy, not
either. Strength and endurance as rocky as the West coast wearing petticoats, ringing bells
of flurious yesterdays into tomorrows hopes and dreams recalled. Billowy, flowery tulips ring
true to the caramel coated promises. Never too rich or skinny. A waist an inch deep and
widely thickened cream of poppy icecream screams smear me thin and shed the self as on
onion into a glorious stick adorning a caramel coated apple. A promise to myself and not you-
- as my eyes are wide deep! Aspartame filled rats, cancer ridden corpses frozen into stark
reality. Stark nakedness tells no lies and makes bigger eyes!
Chocolate and Caramel
Go together very well
When these flavors do combine
It’s a pleasure most divine
A blend of sweet harmony
Brings about sheer ecstasy
Every lick is pure delight
It’s a pleasure out of sight
The creaminess is pure bliss
These flavors are meant to kiss
You’re chocolate; caramel’s me
We belong, oh can’t you see?
Everything ‘bout us is sweet
One makes the other complete
So come on, let’s intertwine
Our union will be sublime!
Keeper of my heart
The heart that I love you with
You’re my caramel
Can you see the radiance in her smile? That beautiful row of white goodness that makes me forget there are other people existing in the world. Can you see the sensuousness of her skin? That caramel chocolate sensation I love to drown my thoughts in... I know you can see the way her hips sway with such perfect synchronicity, the image alone conjures thoughts loving in perpetuity. Can you see her hazel eyes? Twin pools of perfection to cool this body on a hot summer day. I am but a watcher; if I were a collector of beautiful things I would spare no exertion to have her be mine.
Can you smell the scent of her femininity? An aroma so intoxicating that I will never want another high. Can you hear the sound of her voice? That calming husky baritone that brings waves of peace to my conscious mind. I know you can see that lovely mane of hair, that black hair with the specks of gold and red to entrance every eye. I am but an admirer; if I were a man of means I might have the courage to speak to her.
My eyes avoid catching hers in a moment stolen, so afraid am I that she will see the hunger brimming therein. I look at her and see everything that I am not but everything that I need. I see laughter and that carefree nonchalance of youth and brevity that I so crave but that elude me. I envy the water that gets to cascade down her body when she bathes. I envy the wind that gets to caress her long luscious legs as she dons that skirt that invokes feelings in me that are not easily suppressed. . I envy the sun that gets to warm her body when she is chilled. I envy the moon that watches over my sleeping beauty as she dreams of people she does know. I envy the man who gets her sighs and knows her dreams. I envy him not only because he is all she wants but because he is all that I can never be for her.
While my heart is the one that loves her with the fervour of a thousand fires and the intensity of a million lifetimes; he kisses her, touches her and holds her and she loves him to a place beyond distraction; he is all that she thinks she needs, he is her man. I am left to watch and admire from a distance. How can I compete? After all, he is the man of her childhood fantasies; all that I am is a girl who fell in love with the wrong goddess.
No taste as sweet
As liquid love
It’s desire in a jar
Just pour it out
Upon your dish
A tempting treat by far
Just let it ooze
Let it cover
Every morsel, every bite
So pour it out
Upon your lover
Treat yourself tonight
< network's challenge I did take
whipped up an great cake
dripping caramel on plate
waiting for big slice
smelling apple spice
add whip cream

Chocolate sprinkled with Caramel so delicious
Enjoying them both together is so perfectly luscious
The overall combination is completely tenacious
No better way of saying it, your eyes are precious
There's a lovely girl called Vanessa
who's prone to foods so very sweet
especially that of the chewy variety
such a temptation she falls off her feet
This beautiful girl is a real stunner
but that doesn't help her beat her treat
a Queen she's undoubtedly crowned
royal standard accomplished a poetic feat
There she goes a bag of sweets in hand
caramel her big favourite nothing to compare
this is the one she loves above all else
chewing every part one can only stare
Her unhealthy diet easy to mind
breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper
all always the same guess what?
caramel every time along with a cuppa
Well, one can't believe such a thing
but this is so chewable and green
could it be true well let's ask Vanessa?
hey, honey are you the caramel Queen?
This 1st November was a special day
for Vanessa's birthday came around
a real celebration come to New Mexico way
Poetic class, this lovely lady is real sound!
(This is a fun piece I had written to a poetry friend on another poetry site)
