She was on the rebound
high on freedom's speed
our coordinates collided
in a silver speck of time
we dumped our seeds
upon a neon galaxie
but nothing ever blooms
on that starry autobahn
I was just a speed bump,
to her leather studded charm.
Funning, just be funning
Jumpin mine bare feet hopping
Striving, mind mouth be jiving
I’m not relying jazz juz beatings cuz
Endorphins just be enormous
My conclusions is an allusion
Dancing in steps less contusions
Jump up
Step
What’s up
Breathe take a breath
On this dance flur/floor
What it is, is what is was
Step o’ver furniture
Bound, dance, step, and walk
Turn the heat up
We be hav’N fun in
We B runnin
Stroll N smooth far and long
JumpN jump
Fast Runnin Bump
Mov’IN , step by step

THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT
Often times things go bump in the night
We shake and tremble, filled with fright
Tiptoeing softly in search of the sound
Nerves on edge making our heart pound
Suddenly in the parlor, what did I hear
It sounded much like the scraping of a chair
Peering intently where the shadows lurk
Wondering if someone's watching me with a smirk
The parlor is empty of goblin or ghost
Then the thing that I dread most
A sound from the kitchen like pots and pans
Being banged together by unseen hands
I creep across the living room floor
Gently, I open the kitchen door
Nothing scary greets me there
The anxiety now is more than I can bare
I break out in a cold clammy sweat
Afraid to keep looking – but yet
I want to find out the source of the sound
Worried beyond measure at what may be found
I'm wielding a chair in self defense
Still filled with fear and great suspense
I flip on the lights to find out that....
I'd been scared stiff by my neighbor's cat

for the Everything Halloween contest
Worry not, it's a minor bump in the road
Happens rarely, must stay near the commode
Won't bore you details
Just a bit off the rails
Be back just as soon I feel better and reload

In tempestuous black the creatures glow
with eerie neon bright.
They whisper through the murky depths
and claim the frightful night.
Zombies and the other undead
gaze fiercely into the dark.
With willful aim and shattering thoughts
they leave their evil mark.
Then mistress hags upon their brooms
go floating tree to tree.
Perhaps they'll cackle up a spell
to cast on you and me.
Ghouls of every wicked kind
come hither to commune.
Fiery devils and pallid ghosts
go dancing on the moon.
So lock your doors and windows too;
keep silent in the gloaming.
This is the time when goblins play
and wicked things go roaming.

Cradle my body, Deeply into
you, tear me, limb-frm-limb,
Can't deny your pulsing vibes,
380* spins my prime, moving
mountains, amongst, early
dawns, sunlight quake, where
we lost all self-control,
dangerously, Keith Sweats,
song, fornicating, our love....To
another round of sweet
Deveined entwined lyrics,under
bump n' grind, midnights
breaking hour, we co-inside, all
measures of passions love, to
never part...

Evolution’s Speed Bump
by Odin Roark
From history did we come
Perpetuating evolvement
Did we not
Yes
We’ve learned our lesson well
Mixing and matching genes
To circumvent ourselves
Arriving at the worldly coliseum
We battle for blood and death
Salivating and fist pumping
We want…
We wish…
Seldom what we need
Yet we forge and sharpen
Our out of control desire
For everything of anything
Leaving DNA scratching its head
“We put up centuries of twist and shred
For this?”
Of course
Minds of a higher purpose
Will someday stopover
Check us out
And pity the evolved mash-up
We’ll greet our planetary visitors
With “Welcome aliens. We are your masters.”
And completely miss
Their dissing of such nonsense
As they leave their rest stop
And move on to another galaxy
(Terrorist Attack-Benghazi 9/11/12)
The Navy Seals absorbed the brunt
of fire al-Qaida thugs bestowed
and died in battle near the front,
stood tall with courage to confront
a vile assault of bitter mode.
The Navy Seals absorbed the brunt
on rooftop stand, machine gun stunt,
a grim attack, defenders slowed,
and died in battle near the front.
As choked in soupy smoke, the hunt
for those alive, true effort owed,
the Navy Seals absorbed the brunt.
The dozens saved in rescue shunt
as teams of seals took up the load,
and died in battle near the front.
A callous chief then voiced it blunt,
and termed it as “A bump in the road.”
The Navy Seals absorbed the brunt,
and died in battle near the front.
Our President Donald Trump
Has been given a bad bump
Pictures of defeat so grim
Media really hates him
So sad how he has been treated from the very start.
Folks we are going to have a vaccine soon. Wonderful..It was pushed through by our now President. Give him some credit.
Family life is not always smooth
There's often bumps in the road
Eventually they tend to sort themselves out
But sometimes it's a heavier load
Feelings run deep, they cut like a knife
Small differences complicate things
We're misunderstood, we overreact
Send out arrows and slings
If only us guys would say what we mean
And always mean what we say
We'd know exactly where each other stood
Instead of stumbling on our way
Guess we're talking about human nature
Seems we're all a bit guilty at times
It all comes back to our basic sensitivity
As for love we constantly pine

This dawning morning I broke
my boundaries
Again and again i tell myself
sorry
I previously thought the next
step would never happen
I immediately feel distraught
and ultimately disappointed
An experience wanted but a
regret resulted
I was warned and aware but I
got told bold it could happen
As a young boy i would never
have thought
That I would excite myself with
a narcotic shot
Opiate's , no. Rule all class a's
out
But chemicals sadly , just as
dirty no doubt
What were my thoughts?
Immediately insanity
The only buzz that can beat a
Bugatti
But it's hard to describe the
sensation felt
very enjoyable but mind left
with guilt
I conclude this illegal pleasure
with its overrated
I mean what i say as above it is
stated
Three deep breaths and make
not this mistake
For this is a dark road no one
should take
Things That Go Bump In The Night
Outside in the dead of night
In boxers, with a bat
Something gave the wife a fright
My guess, The neighbors cat
I'll just take a look around
I step onto the grass
Ocean breeze, plus cold wet ground
I'm freezing off my as*
Just three feet into the yard
I trip on unseen toys
With a CRASH I go down hard
and make WAYYY to much noise
Cut a toe, and skin both knees
I shout one dirty word
Followed by "God, if you please"
"I pray that no one heard"
Lights go on all down the block
The neighbors step outside
Heard by all, OH That's a shock
"Thanks God, oh I'll just hide"
Every place I hope to fit
I just can't squeeze behind
Stepped in something smells like sh**
I'm half out of my mind
With that thought I turn to flee
And how? I still don't know
Find myself up in a tree
With all of them below
Muddy Bloody Boxers ripped
My neighbors all around
That's the moment when I slipped
And struck the muddy ground
Someone says "I think it's Rick"
I say "I can explain"
Truth is most still think "I'm Sick"
The other half "Insane"
I still blame my wife of course
But she just shakes her head
Nothing short of Deadly Force
Now gets me out of bed
As I was going to the loo, in the middle of the night,
I bumped into my husband, he gave me such a fright.
He was just standing there, with everything stuck out,
He looked so menacing, holy hell I gave a shout.
He just smiled at me, then laughed and wiggled his willy,
I just shook my head and said "Get back to bed, stop being silly".
As I walked past him he asked "Why are you so glum?
"Because", I replied "It's 3am, I didn't want to see your bum".
I had to hurry then, as I desperately wanted to pee,
And to be quite honest, I'd seen all there was to see.
As I got back in to bed, he chose that moment to fart,
He then wafted the covers, out of bed, I did dart.
I yelled, "Why do you do that you disgusting man?
He just laughed and replied "I do it, simply because I can".
I tutted in disgust and climbed back into bed,
Even though the stench, was like a cloud around my head.
I thought to myself, I sound like such a bore,
That's when he decided, it was time to snore.
I knew what would put him, right back in his place,
So I picked up my pillow and hit him in the face.
He jumped out of bed, stubbed his toe as he went,
I think I'd crossed the line, but that's where I was sent.
He called me some choice names, cow and witch were a few,
I just lay down smiling and replied, "Now go to sleep I Love You too".

Full moon rising: I see your face in the blue moon’s silhouette.
Moonbeams cascade; shine through the window of my aching, waiting heart.
The night breeze whispers soft kisses; echoes I love you replays.
Slits of moonlights flicker through dark grey water memories,
Hidden moon’s silhouette beacons; teases me to taste love anew.
My heart’s chain is anchored seems not set for full moon sailing.
Faraway cold moon: a thousand life years away from me -
Utters just profound silence; touches my spirit tenderly.
I look inside my heart; finds a joyful near reality.
Fading moon: will your splendor grace your poor lover again?
I will wait upon the grandeur of your beauty; it's my desire.
Shine on me, my darling, but only if it is your desire.

What's the cost
Cat has my tongue
Confidence lost
Punctured lung
Why can't I be firm
As the ground beneath
Unstable worm
On a dying leaf
I've mastered the trade
I'm qualified
But afraid of the blade
Being denied
I sell myself short
Of talents acquired
A deadly sport
Self worth retired
Before long, the subject
Makes me fall ill
Upkeep, I neglect
I'm standing still
Is this the moment
Do or die
I stand tall and own it
Or fail to try
Things were booming
Now I hear a pin drop
So much for assuming
A sudden stop
Could it be the end
Is reality knocking
Or a fickle wind
Temporarily blocking
So I ponder
Is it worth uncertainty
Should my focus wander
Or push on, this journey
