Premium Member Broom Sage
When I was young the broom sage grew so tall
It towered over me, fuzzy tickling
Right there in front of momma harvesting
Harvesting just enough sage for a broom

Broom sage to sweep the hearth clean of debris
A hearth white washed with Georgia kaolin
Nothing to cover the...

Premium Member The Witches Broom
It is a witchy tradition to pass down your first broom to
The next generation, but poor dear sweet Mable inherited an eye
Sore from her elder granny, the handle topped end was crooked
In a twisted bent way, the middle was weather warped and taped
Together by...

Premium Member Ode To the Scotch Broom
The hillsides are covered
with miles of Scotch Broom.
Pretty to see
but an allergy doom.

This transplanted weed
should not be here.
It causes allergy symptoms
most of which are severe.

Some one once decided
Broom belonged in the garden.
That person's now reviled
and should be begging our pardon.

Early Spring the citizens
with their spades...

Janitors Broom
the janitors' broom,
it sweeps every room,
under each desk,
cleaning up the mess,
it never complains,
leaving a clean environment for our brains,
this broom is on a mission,
without recognition......

Broom Warfare
These walls conceal an ugly war
Kitty litter raids my floor
This tidy home I'm sworn to keep
A rugged broom's a tiresome sweep
Three cats are such a chore...

The Broom and the Pan
One sunny morn, a broom is sweeping a floor full of dirt. The dust pan said to the broom, "I will help you!"

"Thank you," said the broom. "Thank you for helping me minimize my work."

  "I am not always around,"...

Our Teacher Rides On Her Broom
Our teacher rides on her broom
she levitates on it in our classroom
she will snap and then deride
wish she'll take her pride for a ride!

Our teacher rode off on her broom
and there was joy in the classroom!

Our teacher came back from her ride
and all the...

Ode To the Broom
Oh broom I could not do without
With so many uses more than clean a room
Lacking praise for versatility no doubt
Here is my ode to you, wonderful broom
When tidying needs to be a bit more fun
You are the tall microphone I sing with
Covered in scarves so...

Limerick : Once a rich Janitress rode on a broom

Once a rich Janitress rode on a broom
From cheek to jowl her looks spelt dire doom
She thought she owned the world
And the world owed her gold
So she chewed gold and lost gums and bloom.

Tall as they come, this man is 1 metre 85,
A basketball player inspired by the 2012s,
To compete in disability sport so to thrive,
At the high jump, his practice bookshelves.

Loughborough students encouraged him,
To work on his basketball leaps by trying,
To...

The woman married at a young age
to the eldest son of a farmer-
my maternal uncle and neighbor.

Usually, she woke up early at the crow's caw
and swept the dirt floor of the house with a broom

The witch loved to fly on her broom.
It fit like a cozy old shoe.
Magic led her the way
As she flew in the day
And zoomed on her broom to the moon.

No electric transport for her.
Her broom hid her in...

That lost its magical zoom.
She decided to buy
A broom that could self-fly
and beat a rocket to the moon....
