Borders In the Borderless Society

Waft borderless borders;
within;

The dividing line that separates the free
    and the slaves;

      where strangers come and go
but the cage is never lifted.

Where sticks and stones travel farther,
                and idle remains your soul possession;

                pocketed,
                dispossessed
                and disenfranchised.

Standing frozen in the temporal sea,
while global earth spins yonder;
giving birth to a global movement;
devoid of you,
where the shining guards of globalism obstruct your path
and the cage is never lifted.

apartheid in an open prison,
borders without a border,
where freedom is ill defined
and internal struggle
links the spider web without a spider to keep it.

Just Like a Child Without Borders

 Just like a child

I toss pebbles in the stream

Each pebble is a wish

Every ripple is my dream

I dream of running freely

my face against the wind

Hear it's million voices

and the cicadas sing.

I dream of climbing treetops

to a majestic world

a world of happy faces

where everyone 's a friend.

I dream of sharing cookies

with those we' ve made come poor

I dream to share hot milk

where we've created war.

Just like a child

I wait for falling raindrops

to cleanse away dry mud

Mud that turned in mountains

of an untraveled path.

Mud molding the borders

so innocent can't pass

Why do we refuse them

when they are one of us ?

Just like a child

I forget the bruises all over my knees

I dance into the moonlight

along with flowing leaves.

I return to my place

with a kite still soaring high

but cannot lay in my bed

while others sleep outside.

How can I be hopeful

when innocence 's not pure

When lonely tears are prescribed

treatments without cure

Just like a child

I toss pebbles in the stream

Each pebble is a wish

Every ripple is my dream .

Dedicated to the men, women , and children ,
leaving their countries, , their homes,
trying to find a safe place to stay, to escape war ,
yet still behind boarders .

P.S - When I say We , I mean it - For our countries, our politicians,
and our voices - We can do better.

We all have the ability to love
                                      It's about helping,
                                        be comforting,
                                       encouragement,
                                         give warmth
                                           and care
                                       or just be there

                               Always have a loving attitude
to life and to everything that is created
Love is to be a fellow human being
Those who stand on love's side

                                      I want to mention :
                                  Doctors Without Borders

Borders

Secure our borders!

Good fences make good neighbors.
Make it clean and strong
Our earth is colored in patches
Of the countries, its entities

Document every plant, animal, and person
Measure all the air, water, and breathing
Make everything invisible, visual
Experience life, cleanly divisible

Since we can't respect differences
We must make great walls
To decorate with peace doves
And free-for-alls;

Since we can't understand each other’s needs
We must enforce our language
In the name of collaboration
And reason;

Since we can't stop fighting each other
We must create better weapons
To stop the others from
Making more;

Since we can't cure our diseases
We must name name each one
And come up with new experiments
Procedures and drugs;

Since we can't educate our people
Who have these answers already
Let's vote against spending money
To teach them;

Secure our borders!

Good fences make good neighbors

Those Who Cross Borders

those who cross borders
above or below the radar gaze
connecting here to there
reminding us of all-ness
bind the planet's wounds
with footstep stitches
scars of wars, past & present
tears wash ashore
hands begging to be held
a little human kindness
calls out for respite
relief from dread
the poverty of coin and bill
signifying nothing in the end
balance sheets burn in the
cauldron of planetary fire
now listen and give
open your heart and hand
these kids are heralds
of Earth's new age
for they see with two eyes
here and there
there and here...
there is only the
language of blood

... Let's use our logic to determine

       - - It's long overdue - -
We need to open the borders
It's time for business to thrive once more
Tourism definitely experienced suffering enough

        - - Let's lobby for this - -
Lots of people will be reunited with loved ones
Schools now functioning in full force
Simple shopping trips completed quickly

     - - Government, Get it done!! - -
Trucks no longer need to pile up in queues by the border
Goods delivered more quickly to distributors
Citizens smoothly flowing from one county to the next

      - - We're without much sense - - -
To think the virus won't return in some dimension
Undoubtedly it will worm its hideous germ in further from here
Possibility of complete suppression is ridiculous!

     - - The cure is nigh, don't worry - -
Together, our country will see brighter horizons
Indeed, the entire World will see heightened benefits
Of the sensible policy to reopen closed borders

Premium Member My Scottish Borders Experience

Spending a late autumn break
in the Scottish Borders countryside
though the climate then so cloudy
didn't deter as I got on my stride

Galashiels was our first base
staying at aq lovely accommodation
visited Sir Walter Scott's own home
stood in awe, such a poetic occasion

There was a wonderful tapestry
on display in Galashiels town
takes you through Scotland's history
such skill uplifts never to drown

We then moved on to Peebles Hydro
which eas a lovely hotel no doubt
with nice short walks way down
where River Tweed flows into town

The Scottish Borders are a treat
especially in autumn time of year
other highlights being Selkirk and Moffat
so many delights bring much cheer!

(Having spent a week in the Scottish Borders recently, just writing this piece about my experience of the highlights of this trip.)

Bubbling, Brimming, Beyond Borders

Wisdom from above, enmeshed in Love, comes complete
How then make more wisdom flow ... I didn't know

But then the best teacher discovered this dithering fool, me -
O how this Teacher renews my mind, unwinds the dark and dank in me

From my belly a refreshing flow murmurs, then mumbles and rumbles
And I see a vessel being filled. Soon full, how to harness the flow?

As with a vessel, so with a soul, Spirit of Wisdom says
Take from this Spirit daily - almost manna, remember Hannah

And Sarah and Abraham and Ruth and Rahab, and Rustic Rabbi
Living waters of grace, wave after wave, grace upon grace

The surplus that overflows your vessel, doesn't flow over and away
There's a thirsty traveler passing every day

Someone, too, rejected by her kind, comes solitary to the well
Meets the Designer indeed! Who will thirst anymore, rich or poor

When the rains fail, when the ogres wail, share this cup
There is no drought in the Spirit of Wisdom. Will I draw it up

Do I have a rope of right strength and length, a pail and the practice?
Or will I be ready for the surprise: where to redirect Spirit's brimming surplus?

Premium Member Pushing Beyond Your Borders

I thought
I believed
I was beyond the reach of light
Trapped there within your darkness
You eclipsed my wonder
My innocence
My hope

You wrapped me fully
Confiscating my will
Smothered my unrealized self
Draped me in your need
Subjugated me to your narrative

Then in the distance
A flicker
A tiny dot
Beyond your optics
Your contrived paranoia
Your insatiable need
I watched it grow
Filling my craving
Firing my synapses
Awakening my indefinable

I was not born to be in darkness
Wriggling in the shadows
Instead I pushed beyond your borders
Grabbed onto God's hand
As He effortlessly lifted
Transforming my impossible
He banished your Darkness
He rewrote your narrative
You took me from myself
Yet today I am back
I am strong
Freed from your insanity

I know
I believe
I am beyond the reach of darkness
Here I frolick in peaceful meadows of possibilities
I have claimed my wonder
My innocence
My hope
I live within a transcendent light
Mine is a world of every
Everyone is welcome
Peak out from the dark
Push back the veil
A hand stretches
Reaches
Pierces the sadness
Hold on
Let it be
Let it lift
Let it love
Let it consume the darkness

I was inspired by Robin Davis's poem "Abuse Shocked Her Into a Shell"
There is light beyond abuse in whatever form it takes.

Crossing Borders

Being one of the volunteers for medical mission,
It feels good for my dedicated service in action,
No need to cross on borders just to help other people,
They are just in the corner to ask medicine for a cure.

Doctors who always there for the illegal immigrants,
Dedicate their time for the sake of the peasants,
Different nationalities living in a foreign country,
They needed love and care for they are lonely and weary.

Money can’t buy satisfaction and happiness,
Even if people called them the less fortunate,
Surviving in a far away land for a while,
Where in their native land, they are in exile.

Lack of material things they don’t have,
All they need is our unconditional love,
Life is still good living in place of poverty,
Seeking solace for our love and generosity.

Note:
Being one of the volunteer for medical mission for 2 years, I know how it feels to be isolated in a secluded place. Some of the illegal immigrants are in hiding because they came in the country of Thailand without any passports, they are afraid the authorities will catch them and send them to jail and send them back to their native land. Some of them living in the mountains where lack of waters that some children seldom take a bath that’s why some of them are sick. Another thing is lack of foods that it takes weeks for some people to go down to city to buy for their daily needs, in other words they are lack of basics necessities. As I observe during our medical mission every month in different places in Ratcharuburi initiated by Thai priest with Thai nurses, Filipino doctors, nurses and volunteers, Spanish doctor and some other nationalities, some of the children are malnourish, have skin problems, fever, flu, etc. They can’t go to the hospital because they are afraid the authorities will catch them and send them to jail, even if the doctors will recommend them to go to some hospitals, they will not going to have a check up because they don’t have money. I know it’s really hard for them to live like that but still I saw them with pure happiness in their heart laughing and smiling with us during our medical mission every month. All they need is our guidance, help, generosity and love. Let’s pray for them that they always overcome their struggles in life.

Borders

They always wanted the best out of me.
"You have to be the best at everything."
When I fail, I was drowning in the sea.
I never have the chance to spread my wings.

People always compared me to a king
Graceful, wise, caring, smart and talented
but like everyone, I'm slowly dying.
It feels like I'm a criminal wanted.

For all the things I did, they commented.
"Who do you think you are." "You are no one."
This slowly makes my fragile heart damaged
I tried to ignore them and tried to run.

Stand up, fall, up again, cross the borders.
Like my strong mom said, give yourself orders

Borders

I do not know whether I am mourning,
the fate of so many civilizations, languages,
and ways of seeing the world,
that you knew best,
Or whether I mourn
that you are gone,

I can not even ask you,
How a line drawn on a map,
Can cause so much destruction,
You left me to ponder the horror alone,

Leaving me at the edge of a world,
I’ll never understand,
While the sights I wanted to see,
The knowledge I craved,
Was all within you

Premium Member Love Beyond Mundane Borders Rumi

Last night was a warm night
I could not sleep, rather I tossed and turned
My heart was empty, so was my life
Yet, I did feel love flowing all around

So I woke up and choose to bask in the moon's light
Contemplating such a beauty, I no more felt so stoned
Why, life be faith
Life, with its many mysteries does hold me in astound

See you how our instincts guide us
I believe they are messages from the one above us
The one who made us, for reasons known to Him alone
Why, each one of us does belong to Him, being in all, His own!

Away we may be from each other, we on Earth and Him somewhere in the ether
Yet, our souls, our hearts do keep talking to each other
Yes, messages does be sent to calm us
To guide us, to ease our pain, to melt our stress

I watched the moonlight till dawn
Magical was the turning daylight
Enamored by creation and its mystery, I could not even yawn
Awakened have I been, awake was I always, now, with life no more shall I fight!

Visual Three

No More Borders

No more borders
No closed gates
Everyone welcome; everyone come

It doesn't matter what you've done,
or what you believe; you will be
received.

We will take care of you, regardless
of the cost; not to mention our loss.

Evil's vail shall be lifted, and come
upon us quickly. Violence, corruption,
greed and contempt; as food they eat,
and bring to our streets.

How much clearer can they state, their
hate? What will it take for us to awake?
