Those Who Cross Borders

those who cross borders
above or below the radar gaze
connecting here to there
reminding us of all-ness
bind the planet's wounds
with footstep stitches
scars of wars, past & present
tears wash ashore
hands begging to be held
a little human kindness
calls out for respite
relief from dread
the poverty of coin and bill
signifying nothing in the end
balance sheets burn in the
cauldron of planetary fire
now listen and give
open your heart and hand
these kids are heralds
of Earth's new age
for they see with two eyes
here and there
there and here...
there is only the
language of blood

"hands begging to be held a little human kindness calls out for respite relief from dread" - you have told us in the best way how large your heart is.

You write with conviction! Nothing wrong with that. Let them hear, and welcome to the Soup.
