Best Blessed Poems
When I see the moon, I think of you.
When the flowers bloom I think of you
but with the rain my teardrops fall.
If only I could have given my all.
I would have been the happiest dreamer
that ever dreamed a dream.
The sun would shine
if only you could have been mine.
I would have danced all the time
and sang a song of love to you
that to no one else
I could ever do.
Instead a hymn to God I sing of thanks and praise
that He my dead heart did raise
and for a little while I was aglow
with love I thought I’d never know.
But alas, sometimes I give in and grieve,
my feelings on my sleeve.
Heartaches and blood seeping through
my skin so thin.
And I pray forgiveness
for this sin
of nursing the pain
I should hold within.
But because I loved you so
I knew I had to let you go.
I will always be blessed
by the day you came my way
and loved me too
like no one else could ever do.
So, my dear.
Do not fear.
I will always be here
thinking of you
and seeing your face
that from my mind I can’t erase.
I just pray to God to please be kind and next time ‘round
we’ll be born on the same blessed ground.

The Goddess Of Blessed Redemption
She gave me a foundation of love's pleasures
complete with wondrous bountiful measures
she a gentle goddess of golden hues,
swept this heart away, vanquished all its blues.
From a verdant forest spring she arrived
relieving me of life sadly contrived.
None other could love and give any more,
she a goddess sent from paradise shore.
When asked why she came to me to now bless
no words came, my sins too sad to confess.
Yet her Light and Grace healed this broken soul
for this world had taken its heavy toll.
Of Asclepius* blood, healing her art,
body, soul and mind, first target the heart,
faithful daughter, resplendent her warm glow
sent to heal and allow this soul to grow.
She freed my body from its scars and burns
from ghosts of past buried in hidden urns,
the mind confused by treachery and lies
and the soul ready to face its demise.
Her enchanted charm revived my delight
to view the world in a generous light,
for the mind to stand firm, no longer wilt,
with redemption free the burden of guilt.
Once a broken man, forsaken lost soul,
I now stand stoutly with a heart that’s whole.
With Apollo’s blood vibrant are my veins,
by lease of life, released from morbid chains.
Verve restored by Aceso’s healing might
with radiance to end my sorry plight.
Healed with love in atonement of past crimes
with kindness I share life’s eternal chimes.

(1.) Asclepius*, see note above..
(2.) Aceso’s , ( Aceso (the goddess of the healing process )
(3.)Apollo- Greek Mythology -
Apollo was one of the most versatile of the Greek gods. His domains extended from poetry and music, to light and truth, and archery.
His mother was the Titan Leto, whose tryst with Zeus angered Hera. The Queen of the Gods tormented Leto, sending the monster Python to chase her across the whole world so she could find no safe space to bear her children. However, Leto found safe haven on the isle of Delos and gave birth to Artemis and then Apollo.

As today.. tis 4th of July
May Blessings come
before Your eyes
All Praise and Glory
be to God Almighty
As You watch and see
Beyond and within Fireworks
Sparkling lights glares
Beholding Lights of Beauty
Love of God everywhere
when You see Fire-lights
Sparkling within the night
Tis just like
God Beauty is given Inside
Behold beautiful Souls
Whom within hearts
Fire-lights are Lit-Glow
In hopes that others
Shall see.. come to Believe
God's Radiant Light
Given His Gift of Love
Only Through Our Savior
Jesus Christ...
Then whomsoever
Comes to Jesus
Fire-Lights of Love lit-within
Born-again.. Free from their sin
God's Glorious Light
Shall Always Shine
Within Our Hearts.. Souls.. Minds
Awaiting for the Precious time
When Our Savior.. Our Messiah
Comes to take Us home
up High.. within the Sky..
Behold.. All Born-again Souls
Hearts on Fire-Lights Glow
As Radiant.. Beautiful Love
Sparkling Star-bursts Lights
Showers of Glorious Love
Radiant and Bright
As Jesus comes from Heavens
Lights Bursting in Air
Souls together everywhere
Gether High in Sky..
Meeting Our Glorious Light
Our Savior.. Jesus Christ
Come to Jesus
Beautiful Colors bursting of Love
God's Beautiful gift
When time be
You then too.. Be swept up..
born-again.. Into Gods Eternal Light
Set Free.. Fire-light lit
Stars Sparkling Lights
For God is the One
that makes all things happen
God's Beautiful Glory
Sparkling Souls..
Be Watchful
As Souls Like Stars bursting in air
As Jesus comes.. Like.. through the Night
Holy Spirit of Love.. non can compare
Shall No longer be here
For then Rapture..
Has Taken place
Whomsoever is born-again
Beholding God's Grace
Will be transformed
Reborn.. Sparking Love
Changed in Twinkling Light
Gone Home to be
With Jesus Christ
Our Glorious King
Everlasting Glorious Colors
Pure Holy Light.. Eternity
Come behold God’s Holy Light
As the Star Bursting through the night
Be Saved through God’s Radiant Glorious Light
Our Savior ..Jesus Christ
To watch the morning sun's soft lambent glow
Rise with glorious warm splayed reddish light
To feel life's allure on landscape's plateau
With majestic embers to chase the night
This luminosity wakens the day
In its serenity from beauty found
The soul on wings begins to lift away
Drifting with this miracle so profound
This wondrous wonder of flaming new birth
Welcomes an awe-inspired colored hue
And stimulates the eyes fervor of Earth
As the sun breaks the horizon in view
To feel twilight vanish into the mist
As morning reveals heaven does exist

My dearly beloved Sister in the Lord,
You surely are a great blessing to me and to others...
May this poem of tribute to and for you reverberate beyond our memories
Vanquishing oblivion that lurks to prevail.
Blessed by God with eternal life’s certainty
Redeemed, enjoying the Saviour’s assured security
Imparted with divine nature toward great spirituality
Guided thru the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and authority
Instructed to live by faith, trusting Christ’s immutability
Driven forward to pursue the Lord’s will with sincerity:
A victor in the Master’s ministry; we salute you for your godly integrity!
Moved by God’s love in serving with grace
Empowered with His strength to win in the Christian race
Nourished fully with His Word along prayer-brace
Directed for stewardship’s faithfulness all her days
Optimizing the Almighty’s offered opportunities of no delays
Zoomed toward heavenly goals midst hindrances’ trace…
A servant* of God in His church; we thank the Lord for you and Him we praise!
This is a Birthday poem for this Sister's 59th birthday on November 13, 2018, with these notes: "Ma’am Edgie, A blessed birthday to you.
Your life, spent for the Lord, is really a great blessing!"
I posted this on November 26, 2018 (Monday here in the Philippines).
It was November 28, 2018 Poetry Soup's Poem of the Day.
I was elated to learn about it...
Then, after I had my class in the Bible College, I was informed that Ma'am Edgie was called by God to be with Him in heaven on November 28, 2018, at 11:30 A.M. (Philippine time). I bowed to God for His wisdom. Indeed, He makes no mistake. As for this beloved Sister, she will be missed... for her love to the Lord, to His work, and to the brethren.
*1Corinthians 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

2nd place, "Last Letter to my Beloved" Poetry Contest
Sponsored by Silent One; judged on 12/16/2018.
Decades of mystic dreamers have worn the path
trod across the leys, coupling pairs within Stonehenge.
Beneath the Wiltshire skies cornflower blue; they lust,
lotus-eaters, loose-limbed, seeking a blessed outcome.
With longing strides-- they reach, climbing earthen berms
to add their lovers song to move with the cycles.
Some take the blessed day, others wait the pearly moon.
See her so fairy fair dressed in naught but moonlight?
Watch his black-haired beast rise once encircled by her arms.
Back pressed against the dolmens, her heels wreath his waist
as virgin blood runs red like the holly berries
to feed the holy earth, she'll bear his child; she trusts.
Sitting here in this big old lazy chair
a little smile starts to appear upon my face
Some Phil Collins music rings in the air
as the girls cuddle under warm blankets
watching the movie Tarzan.
I sit here and muse
how did I get so lucky?
why did God shine upon me?
I have such beautiful and healthy children
I have a place to lie my head
There is plenty of food to be put upon the table
There's no other place I'd rather be instead
My heart starts beating stronger
There is warmth and love in the air
I get up and sit between them
I am so blessed to be here
Golden soft was the light that swiftly flew,
as whistling rain pelted majestic oaks.
And, the soaked birds began to cry for you
as Nature silently wrapped up its cloaks,
thirsty for coming dawn, so bold and new.
Silver Maples fluttered in the wind
where fast asleep the rabbits hid away;
all the beauty we wish would never end,
the brightened colors of each joyful day,
as Nature's glory flowed out to transcend.
Still, in the silence, a flowing stream sang
a melody of bygone days and stones
skipping from little hands as flat slates sprang
and lent a lilt of laughter to each tone.
Can you taste the winds as the seasons flow?
The comfy scent of wood smoke on the breeze
recalls the snap of pine cones in the hearth
or trudging through forest deep for downed trees
to bring home for a Yuletide's start.
Water, wood, metal, fire, are God’s gifted plan.

Youth, Time, Night Sky And Heaven's Blessed Voice
As I lay me down in lush verdant grass
Gazing into night sky as Heavens pass
Twinkling stars, to an old grievous soul speak
"Be of stout heart, not a mortal so weak"!
Heavens voice advice, if ones heart listens
Gleaming as true as, morning's dew glistens
Should we not thus seek, blessings so divine
As to not let this world our lives define?
Big dipper singing soft ditty times three
As its handle cast light, welcoming me
Archer shot beams across the Milky Way
As benevolent words, asking no pay!
Brother moon dancing, to set wolves howling
Nature set free, its kids go a'prowing
In peaceful repose, I fall into sleep
My last words, "Lord, Pray you, this soul to keep"!

As Sun Rises, Bringing Morn's Newborn Glee
As sun rises, bringing morn's newborn glee
rooster crows out its pleasures at dawn's light
as world again wakes, its teeming dark sea
shouts, do as you will, dark has fled with night!
Alas! Such is but its great and black lie
for darkness chooses but a brief retreat
folly to believe, as many may die
joining cold ashes of mortal defeat!
When night returns, its dark dances about
as hidden shadows leap from poison trees
solemn blackness, its power needs no shout
as those wise in many years will agree!
Yet new sun that brings light to dark banish
sets its course mortal man can never sway
reveals those sins we may wish to vanish,
in ever decaying hours of each day!
As morn's voice calls, this sweet coffee I sup
slow across this wood porch, an inch-worm crawls
an old man savors third and final cup
and seeks warmth within his castle walls!

I called to the Lord and my voice,
Echoed down Thy golden corridor.
My sorrowful voice resonated,
Ripples of painful airwaves,
Across the divine exosphere.
And in the midst of my darkness,
Shadows mean the light is near.
He came from His throne to me,
His warmth touched my caramel skin.
I was in the presence of the Lord
And I spoke...to the most high.
I asked what cannot be regained,
His reply was: the stone, after it’s cast,
The word, after it’s spoken...and time, after it’s gone.
And He granted my request to bless the eyes,
That read...this modest poem...
as autumn's beauty explodes
in comforting hues of amber
summer petals become bulbous heads
in anticipation of fall's sensual splendor.
an aura of warmth and excitement
kisses our cheeks with a rosy glow,
as we softly cocoon ourselves
in a hearth of tender knowing.
evenings are lustful delicacies
as mornings burst with pleasure,
it is a time of blessed harvest
to nourish and replenish our souls.
wrapped in each other's care
we celebrate and honour
with excitement and passion
the feast of autumn's beauty.
we joyously give in completely
to the magic of autumn's scent
as fiery embers dance with us
to wonderrous heights of desire.
autumn's gorgeous palette
envelops our lingering moments
as we savour, breathlessly,
the rhapsody of souls becoming one.
Awakening from a restful night,
I thank God for my humble home,
For His keeping watch as I slept,
And for His morning show of charm.
Enjoying my breakfast with delight,
I feel God’s presence in a brimming cup.
And before I grasp His amazing provision,
All my morning meal has been eaten up.
With joy I sit in safety and comfort
While I mull over visions in my head.
I think of words to express my pleasure
For having a window above my bed.
Clouds overhead sailing thru sunbeams
Are like ships on a sea of blue sky.
Such placid scenes have a calming effect,
When a rare day of strife is nigh.
Everyday I receive God’s daily bread
And wash the dishes happily indeed.
I know my heartaches are rinsed away
And replaced by what I badly need.
God blesses me with gifts every moment.
And every night I sincerely pray.
Though I can never repay His charity,
I thank Him for gifts He sends each day.

The dawn awakes a tapestry
of painted clouds in pastel hues
A perfect morning’s majesty
as joy is found within its views
Where silhouettes so far away
still slumber ‘neath these colors bright
Enhance this elegant display
such beauty in this early sight
And as I stare the heavens blue
upon this gift now offered me
My mind can’t help but know it’s true
that I am blessed in all I see

Blessed Redhead
Let the fire fall from the skies
Let Heaven choose a few
To harness the light
A beauty unknown to man
A fiery mane of burning hair
Lit by the god’s graces
With ivory skin
Covered with countless freckles
Each a fingerprint from Aphrodite
Only a few are blessed with such beauty
They have tempers to match their hair
Fiery yet controlled by passion
A rarity in this world
To be admired, treasured by man
Loved as no other should
