The Blessed Dawn Premiere Contest Winner

To watch the morning sun's soft lambent glow Rise with glorious warm splayed reddish light To feel life's allure on landscape's plateau With majestic embers to chase the night This luminosity wakens the day In its serenity from beauty found The soul on wings begins to lift away Drifting with this miracle so profound This wondrous wonder of flaming new birth Welcomes an awe-inspired colored hue And stimulates the eyes fervor of Earth As the sun breaks the horizon in view To feel twilight vanish into the mist As morning reveals heaven does exist 7/22/18

The stunning beauty of your words competes with sunrise in its glory Frederic! The music is sunrise its self and gave me chills while reading your trophy poem. I absolutely adore this peaceful poem, so in tune with nature, and agree it deserves to be in First Place! Congratulations my friend. This gem is going straight into my Faves! Frederic....this is spectacular!! This contest was the most difficult to judge as ALL of these top ten could EASILY win ANY contest. After careful consideration and at least ten reads of each...yours came out on top. I think this is probably in my top five of sonnets ever, congrats!

Sublime Sonnet, Frederic, full of exquisite imagery and fresh phrasing ... I was thinking how a blind person, being read this poem, would be standing right there, watching Sol peak above the reach - this kind of description is a gift, and you weild the tool so well.
