Best Bella Poems

La Bella Luna!

You display your beauty like a rose,

your appearance, at first frail and ghostly,

blooms to fuller view in a sky studded with stars.

O Maiden Of Mystery! home of stillborn

assignations, misspent dreams and lovers'

convocations, fired with all the grief

you can distill, and all the joy.

You haunt the heavens, blithe and beauteous,

even when unseen your hold is mighty,

mistress of the menstrual flow, the driving force

behind each woman's mood and machination.

The sun shall lose her heat and bleed to death

e'er you dissolve, expend your final breath.

La Bella Luna

You display your beauty like a rose,
your essence frail and ghostly
blossoms into fuller view, a wondrous pose.
Maiden of mystery, home of stillborn
assignations, misspent dreams and lovers'
celebrations, fired with all the grief
you can distill, and all the joy.
You haunt the heavens, blithe and beauteous,
even when unseen your hold is mighty,
mistress of the tidal flow, the driving force
behind each woman's mood and machination;
ever present there for all to see,
we praise you, and applaud your constancy.

Bella's entrancing green eyes
stare wistfully into my own.
She's a windowsill jumper, bounding with grace
whose taken over my apartment as if it's her place.
She's such a pretty little kitty, a catnip dancer
who seems to see herself as a feline, divine.

She charmed me on the day I found her
but as a rescue, she needed time to come to me.
I know this is where she was meant to be.
Sweet girl with a history that remains a mystery

She never meows with sass when corrected,
and her purrs are soothing whispers in the night.
Bella brings me hours of great joy
so, I reward her loyalty with a toy or two.

Wearing a long-haired burnt umber coat,
she sidles up to me, anticipating a petting.
Bella bestows love that I'll not be forgetting
A lap-curler when she chooses to be social
but aloof which proves the theory to me...
'Sometimes cats just like being left alone.'

O I
love Bella
and her
pointy fluff ears
and long whiskers.
And oh those eyes
gold when excited
or moss green,
when calm,
I love her fur
so soft to touch.
So fluffy and purring.
She loves to cuddle
all the long night.
I hold her in my arms
when we go to bed.
She loves to play with me.
I throw balls and she runs.
I told my friends- no, no,
more cats for this here girl.
They said just give it time!
Oh, my- days were empty,
sometimes, I heard meows
call, call, calling for me.
But now my life is full
  'cause,
        I now
          love
       Bella
          kitty
        and
          I think
            she
               loves
                   me
                      too.

Bella's getting old.
She'll join Brandy and Ginger;
Favorite past dogs.

Penne and spinach
with walnuts and gorgonzola
on top...ummmmmm.
All the fresh garden salad,
you can eat
and garlic bread sticks, too.

Black forest, cherry cheesecake,
with cherry syrup
rolling down the sides,
of a plate drizzled
the liquid chocolate.

Murals of flowery scenes
and music to set your mood;
old Italy permeates the senses,
while you dine in this place.
Bella cucina;
Such beautiful food!

Vita e bellissimo
quando hai cibo bellissimo.

Life is very beautiful,
when you have beautiful food.

Our Dog Bella

Oh what a dog was she,
So, sweet and loving to all that she met.
She always so happy to see us everyday,
we miss her so very much since she went away.

Life is not same since she's been gone,
Heaven is a place not only for you and me.
But, it's for our beloved pets also you see.

So, if you have a beloved pet that has died,
Don't worry because they are just on the other side.
It's not very far and we will see them again ,
just like we will all our loved ones to.

Jesus made it all possible for us to live again,
When He died on the cross and rose to life again.
So, be sure you have Jesus in your life and heart
Before you die and this earth you depart.

Premium Member Bella Donna

She is as wild as the prickly thistle
That stands proudly on windswept wild rugged moor
Emotional deep as an ocean
As flirtatious and fragile as a butterfly
That graces a simmers day.
Her voice as sweet as the robin
Her beauty
And very presence
Takes my breath away.

She can be as temperamental as a tempest
And sting the heart as a bee
Her stubbornness like a tree
That doesn't bend in the wind
But she keeps her secrets
Under lock and key.

She can be loving kind and mild
Beauty personified in femininity
So alluring
But also playful and mischievous as a child.

She is my nemesis my mistress
My angel an individualist
With fire or hunger in her beguiling eyes
I love her I hate her although my passion
And gratitude runs high
She is wild and untameable as that rugged savage moor
Her name is Bella Donna
She has my heart
And belongs to me.

So Proud of You Bella

So proud of you Bella
AKA Lieutenant Kemp
You've grown to quite woman
In the Air Force, not a wimp

Still excelling as you do
With more effort than appears
In the top of all your classes
You are wise beyond your years

Always there to lend a hand
A rock for every friend
They know you've always got their backs
On you they may depend

Learn a lesson from yourself
Real friends should be the same
You may depend when you need them
Part of the friendship game

Wrote this to remind you
That though we're Gram and Pop
We're always friends here for you
And that will never stop

Beautiful baby Bella
Grew into a greatly gifted girl.
She sang songs solely for soldiers,
Homesick for hugs from their honeys.
But Bella fell fast for a friendly fella,
So now she sings solos solely for him.

La Bella Vita (The Beautiful Life)

Resounding heartbeat of the winds,
Resounding sounds of screams,
I hear their need for peace,
But I guess that's only me,
The trees topple like nothing holds them in their place,
And I just cry,
Tears stream down my face.
Life is hard,
But life is good,
La Bella Vita,
I love you.

Rest eternally,
You’ve touched my soul with your heart,
My peaceful angel.

Premium Member Sonnet For Bella

Up every day at three, fighting for life.
As support for so many, I don't know
how much longer I can maintain this strife.
A few minutes there, a few minutes now,
I scribble a few lines at a stop light,
back to the daily grind, and edit here
on the fly. Don't give up without a fight
the dream that words can make the world as clear
and as coherent as it needs to be.
Find the rhyme and nudge out a true meaning.
Pull it together and hope for a key
phrase. Send out for comment, not expecting
too much. So, a bad day was made perfect,
a sad week made great by Bella's critique

My name is Bella
And I love paella
That's not Italian I know
But everything with me can go
I just like things that sparkle
It can be a vampire or a patriarchal
I go to high school
I am not a dumb blonde or fool
I am totally insane about vampires too
Specially one called Edward and that's true!
