Something’s in life will always haunt us but sharing lessens the burden

AU-REVOIR DEAREST MUMMY

Hi Mom,
Please switch your computer on,
Wherever you are,
Perhaps you are that
Brilliant star,
That I see every night,
That shines so bright,
What I have to say,
Will not take all day,
But its time I
Recorded on email
A chapter that I’ve ignored
Of my life,
When you were still alive!
I always did cherish,
Our moments together,
I hope you did too,
For I’ve always loved you,
And my secret hope
From a little girl, was
You would never perish!
We were best friends,
It was so wholesome
But after dad died,
And you cried and cried,
You changed,
You were so lonesome,
But you became
A patriarch,
Not a matriarch
As you always had been,
But a bully,
Which truly
Made me very sad,
As I also missed dad!
Unfortunately we
Began to lose touch,
Although I always
Loved you, very much.
For one complete year
I felt so guilty,
For it was so silly,
That it all came to this,
I was unhappy and
One miserable day,
Gave you a hug and a kiss,
Immediately I felt better!
But you got sick
Shortly thereafter,
With dementia,
Every day was
Heart-rending venture!
You became bed-ridden,
But something in
Your lovable confused
Mind lay hidden,
For you always
Recognised me,
And held my hand,
As you lay dying,
And I was left crying!
All I want you to know
Is that I always have
And will always,
Love you so!
Au-revoir dearest Mummy!

Premium Member au revoir, au phare -

again …

here I am -
a glum ghost
a somber shadow
I have come to dream

to pledge duty, your gleam
to venerate your foreday liturgy
ah, and mend the mist - the magical mist
another mercurial morn creature such as we

ever cautiously coy in its dark, shifting purpose
with foggy fingers it creeps shore-ward
tickling the rocks and rills with vexing facility
its dew-dripping appendages grasp the bluff

and cloak it in a brume shawl
sea's briny breath
braided to a blanket
covering all in a supernal spell

as if we haunt some lofty realm
paused between stars and steeples
to dance for the dawn's enchantment
but I am here for longing's sake

to entomb my pallid pining
priceless little maudlin chunks of my life
that I must forever let loose
whimsical moments spent here, made precious by another

a sweet syrup called "her" that drips from my being
and dribbles its way to my visceralities
where now it turns rancid with nostalgia
poisoning my spirit

you ...

with your winking perpetuity
shall be the last witness to my remorse
you - my lonely, reticent, stolid beacon
shall be the final testament

to every tear let in her stead
to every hapless heartache rent for her
to every soul-wrenching dream torn from the night
and to every last hush of her name on the wind

I throw it all down now
to crash on these jagged cliffs with the morning wake
to end where it was first entrusted
with the shutter of your winking eye

and the first misty beams ... of a new day.

Premium Member au revoir to autumn

Autumn reigns in glory but for a season before
winter covers her with a quilt of snow.
                                                  ~ by poet

au revoir to autumn leaves
tumbling aground in the breeze
leaving their branches disrobed
naked each season of fall

a time for harvests and feasts
pumpkins to carve, pies to bake
for family gatherings
before winter winds blow in

there'll be white blankets of snow
decorations to be hung
jingling bells then will be heard
and voices singing his praise

hearth fire flames become embers
the scent of pine boughs lingers
I am contented with life
in the haven of my home

Au Revoir, Love

"Au revoir, mon amour", these words I cried.
Our affaire de coeur, c'est magnifique...
"Why must our passion end?" I sighed,
"Au revoir, mon amour", these words I cried.
With a kiss, "c'est la vie", he replied,
"our beautiful love, a shelved antique".
"Au revoir, mon amour", these words I cried.
Our affaire de coeur, c'est magnifique!

Au Revoir

Au Revoir ma cheri amor
I feel you pulling away
and knew that the words
calling you back
are no longer mine to cry out

moments and memories
blurred visions of yesterday

that which I held as our forever
no longer part of my tomorrow

I watched you drift away
intimately knowing
that I was to take
a separate path

Nou vini
Nou flannen
Epi nou pati
Se tout sa nou konnen.

Sou latè nou vini
Nou navige, nou flannen
Epi nou pati san anyen
San papye, san lajan, san yon peni.

Se bonjou ke nou di
Nou pale, nou chante, nou ri
Epi san anyen nou kouri ale
San frèn ak sèn, san propryete e san papye.

A French Sonnet

Bonsoir mon cher was all she had to say;
a world at war - so cruel to every heart,
a million lives now lost and torn apart.
Bonsoir mon cher and then she walked away.
We shared our tears while parting on that day
and every wish our language could impart
revealed the truth we both knew from the start;
our temporary space in lives delayed.

Though years have flown I still see her first glance
and lovely smile she shared when e'er we danced.
A war that roiled about us long ago -
the Allied crush that saved the lld-de-france;
Life's twist of fate that begot our romance,
until, at last, I knew we had to go ...

Au Revoir

AU REVOIR

In awe my mouth is opened wide
my upper lip suspended restricting it kissing the lower lip
my tongue unable to position inside my vocal cavity
cos` the news i just heard
no more! the narrator said
never to see again

Oh! was it not....................................
just yesterday i set my eyes on her
gone to where? i asked the narrator
to the great beyond
why the tittle great?.......
a great one it took away from us
away from us took it a great one

We shall meet on that beautiful shore
in the sweet by and by
narrator when shall that be?
just a little time he said very soon
shall we know when we meet?
that i cannot tell with boldness
but we shall be on that day

My beloved one
hope you heard that
happy we shall be on that day
aha, life here might be hard
but life there we can`t say
so soon we shall meet again
aha, but not yet
i mean it beloved, not yet

Premium Member Et Nous Partons Sans Rien

Nous venons
Nous errons
Et nous allons
C'est tout ce que nous savons.

Nous venons sur terre
Nous errons sur la terre
Et nous partons sans rien
Sans argent, de sous et de biens.

Bonjour, nous disons
Nous discutons, rions et chantons
Et nous nous échappons sans rien
Sans frères et sœurs, jetons et liens.

Premium Member Au Revoir Angel

Warm tears of joy like angels in the rain
Flowed in rivulets down your cheeks again
When we hugged au revoir in warm embrace
Tears caressing your lips with genial grace

Your tears fell like raindrops onto my lips
Tasting warm and saline like blood in drips
Oozing into me as I lay dying
Watching an angel play her harp crying.

Once Again Au Revoir

Where shadows puddle
     grey
in
moon’s crimson halo,
where
Winter’s frost makes even
more silent the air,
    you will find
my frozen tears
    buried in the snow.

Au Revoir!

My friend,this is for you,
to help you ,
on your journey new.
I will pray every day,
to help you find your way.
I am not just saying it,
I mean it true,
I really will be thinking of you.
In the short time I knew you here,
I really loved you ,my dear.
When we talked you brightened my day,
and so many other things,
along the way.
You are to me unique,
no one have I known like you,
for that I want to thank you.
I think it's fair to say we will,
see each other some fine day.
So it's Au revoir!
Not good bye. ***

Premium Member And We Depart With Nothing

We come
We roam
And we go
That’s all we know.

We come on earth
We roam, we surf
And we depart with nothing
No money, no bitcoin, and no ring.

We say good morning
We chat, laugh, and sing
And we slip away with nothing
Without siblings, land, and building.

Premium Member Y Nos Partimos Sin Nada

Venimos
Deambulamos
