Best And Nature Poems
A lways seeking the light, a beacon in the dark,
B oldly facing challenges, leaving a lasting mark.
C reating dreams in the canvas of the sky,
D ancing with the stars, reaching new highs.
E ternal hills, majestic and grand,
F lowers blooming in the sand.

H armony in nature, a soothing guide
I gniting passions that blaze like a fiery sun,
J ourneying onward, the adventure has begun.
K eeping faith in the power of the human soul,
L ifting spirits higher, making broken hearts whole.

N ature's wonders, mysterious shrouds.
O pen fields where wild creatures roam,
P ure and wild, nature's own home.
Q uestions and answers, a dance of the mind,
R eveling in knowledge, the treasure you find.
S eeking the truth in the whispers of the trees,
T rusting in the journey, guided by the breeze.
U nderneath the moon's soft glow,
V alleys deep where rivers flow.
W hispers carried by the breeze,
X anadu in nature's keys.
Y earning hearts find solace in the earth,
Z enith of beauty, nature's rebirth.
Once Man,
Nature’s forgiveness implored,
For
Crimes humanity has, against the environment
Committed
And
Sincerely, his serious concern expressed for the
Peril, the whole planet was in, because of
Man’s doing
Nature, attentively, listened to every word, Man,
Wished so much to say,
Then, turning towards him, with great emphasis
Declared:
“Worry not about me, my very dear child
For
Ample time to recover I would have, soon after
Your upcoming disappearance
Which
For long now, you, so thoughtlessly, have yourself
arranged!”

Sunrise, Heaven And Nature Conspire!
At sunrise, when morn breaks into sweet day
Darkness, eases into another far lost realm
Light returns to splendor in its bright way
Sun-ship glowing, celestial giant at the helm!
We that rise up to see this wondrous event
soak in its beauty, holding its glory fast
Our future embraced and our past thus spent
each day's memories and hopes sail at last!
Heaven and Nature conspire to give that gift
hours await to explore life's great dreams
Darkness fled, giving again blessed day shift
full of promises riding magnificent streams!
At sunrise, when morn breaks into its sweet day
Earth gives man more time to love, dance and play!
Robert J. Lindley, mid-70's
Old sonnet, perhaps mid/late 70's.
Had no date on it.. Certainly was at an
optimistic time in my young life.
The emotions and nature intertwine setting our mood,
Plan each day accordingly for the changing of one's attitude.
The silence within is quiet
like the newly fallen snow,
The happy thoughts within are discovered
like the flowers that begin to grow.
The anger of struggles within is a rage
like the thunderous storms,
The confusion unsettled within is everchanging
like the chameleon that constantly transforms.
The surprise emotions within stir
like the gust of cold wind moving endlessly,
The sorrow within causing pain is unbearable
like the destruction of the awaken tornado that impacts the land
tremendously.
The comforting gestures that calm our soul within are created
like the spectacular rainbow display igniting joy,
The sadness forms suddenly within is overflowing
like the flooding waters of rainstorms that annoy.
The scared feelings which fear takes over within is depressing
like a dangerous hurricane taking away our livelihood,
The peace that one longs for within is awoken
like the beautiful sunset that leaves one feeling good.

"I wear my hat as I please, indoors or out"
-Walt Whitman
I walk the land as I want,
the flutter of the dove shudders my
eyelids, dodging my step.
My soul, linking all souls, passes through
trees on my trail, bounding among planets
glimpsed between the apex of pine. I have
no fear of being beyond my body, nor
does the seed that falls from spent flower,
anguish beyond time. The unseen bloom,
millenial light-years away, shares
inherent liberty. Many will gather these
words and hold them to the highest light,
that of our Creator, whose compassion
trifles not with material gain, but with
justice and liberty for all living things,
(equal with respect to all previous
sufferings and triumphs centuries before)
So it is with high diligence I value the true
compass of man and woman, forever
linked with our inalienable rights, as
nature intends.

I pulled my aching body
Outside to get Vitamin D
The beauty of my back yard
Filled me with jubilee
And as I turned up my face
To soak up each golden ray
I heard strange sweet voices
That added joy to my day
And the sun spoke to me
As he blazed down from the sky…
“Like me you must be strong
And warm those who pass by”
And the wind spoke to me
As it played with my hair…
“Like the Holy Spirit of God
I’m here and everywhere.”
And the birds spoke to me
With their blissful little tweets…
“Open your heart to friends
They will give you many treats”
And the blossoms spoke to me
In fuchsia garments of spring…
“See the thorns by our sides?
Be prepared for all life brings.”
And the grass spoke to me
As it lay yellow on the ground
“Let love water your soul
So new life in you may be found.”
And the sky spoke to me
In azure tones of love…
“I’m endless as you can see
Free to fly is the peace dove.”
And the clouds spoke to me
As they sailed up in the sky…
“Let the worries that you have
Like us just drift on by”
And the pine trees spoke to me
As their scent filled the air…
“Stand tall like us and know
Gods help is always there.”
Today, all nature spoke to me
In a mother’s tone so kind
My heart heard every word
And I found my peace of mind.

Oak trees on both sides of the path,
Bend over to shade lovers as they pass by.
Many sit under huge trees,
Among all sorts of fallen leaves - green, yellow,
golden brown.
When apart, their thoughts linger on pleasant
memories they shared;
Reminiscing on words they've said.
Others hurry to a vacant park bench
With floral foliage on both sides;
As they stroll along exquisite garden paths.
One look between them, is like a million words
Not leaving much for them to say.
Blossoms blooming with the sweetest scents,
Flowers bowing as if to say "we agree".
O, what a lovely setting for a picture perfect scene!
my words, inspired by my muse, others too.
nature, her biodiversity, vast
to venture out, recording all I view
all joy, my never, ever ending task
creatures, not oft the public chance to view
pseudoscorpions, tiny, pin head small
mostly brownish, some red, and pink ones too
tiny wasps that hatch and form an oak gall
my words inspired by my muse, nature too
my muse, for nature, also has inklings
in her jungle, nature, she doth pursue
a tad more splendid than my tinkerings
together we often perambulate
on my shoulder, my invisible mate
On the day she was born
Fields of wheat danced joyously,
like sailors coming home.
Skies hued in pink to
announce a newborn female to the world
The beasts of the wood ran exalting
All of nature celebrated the birth
of this extraordinary girl
God sent down a smile-
dancing birds in a feted swirl.
6th place in the "Heaven Sent Smiles" contest by Carolyn Devonshire.
A tribute to the day of her birth.

Golden Treasures That Both Man And Nature Made
In harmonic symphony, waves of golden grain,
Cascading winds dancing in undulating grace;
Nature's bounty, thriving after bountiful rains
Sun drenched harvest set to feed hungry human race.
Magic! Sprouted gem clusters that wait to be reaped
By man and inventive machines that whirl in tune;
Birthed by Spring showers that into fertile soil seeped
As they mirrored back gleaming rays from bright night's moon.
From farmer's fields to grocery store shelves well stocked
Treasure made donuts for hungry children to eat;
Pastries showing man and Nature are interlocked
Remembrances of Grandmother pies as summer treats.
Decades have flown by, cascading winds still parade
Over sprouted crops that both man and Nature made.

Sonnet, ( Nature , Man And Earth)
Flowers don't grow to be
beautiful,they just are.
Spring fosters the beauty of nature,
They're seen in their form and stature.

I love Nature and Nature Loves Me
I kissed the wind, and the shadows didn't see it coming
I embraced the dark as the light consumed it
I held the branch the hand of the Cotton wood tree
I'm in love with nature and nature is me
I embraced the dark as the light consumed it
I'm in love with nature I be what I be
I'm in love with nature and nature is me
Full of energy lightening I kiss nature and it kissed me
I'm in love with nature I be what I be
I held the branch the hand of the Cotton wood tree
Full of energy lightening I kiss nature and it kissed me
I kissed the wind, and the shadows didn't see it coming
