Golden Treasures That Both Man and Nature Made

Golden Treasures That Both Man And Nature Made In harmonic symphony, waves of golden grain, Cascading winds dancing in undulating grace; Nature's bounty, thriving after bountiful rains Sun drenched harvest set to feed hungry human race. Magic! Sprouted gem clusters that wait to be reaped By man and inventive machines that whirl in tune; Birthed by Spring showers that into fertile soil seeped As they mirrored back gleaming rays from bright night's moon. From farmer's fields to grocery store shelves well stocked Treasure made donuts for hungry children to eat; Pastries showing man and Nature are interlocked Remembrances of Grandmother pies as summer treats. Decades have flown by, cascading winds still parade Over sprouted crops that both man and Nature made. Robert J. Lindley, 6-25-2018 Sonnet, ( Nature , Man And Earth)

Hi Robert, another golden sonnet from your golden pen. I can picture the scene so easily as i read your excellent words. The grain blowing in the wind people and machines reaping the harvest. It all sings in my soul. This is an excellent sonnet Robert. May your heart ever sing golden songs. Your sonnets are always special my friend. This is a fave. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Your friend always....Mike.

A wonderful tribute to Man and Nature! Man and nature in "harmony" working hand in hand to create a better world for humanity.. Your insight and well chosen words and imagery are pure "gold" we have to "treasure"! A great pleasure to read Robert! Stay safe and blessed.

It's wonderful to have memories of farm life and the wonderful things that came from Grandma's kitchen. Too bad that today those memories are gone. Children are hungry. For many there is nothing to make these memories with. Great job here my friend. We must remember to thank God Almighty for His boundless providence. God Bless, JB

Robert, you're a natural at writing excellent sonnets. This one made me hungry for grandma's pie. But alas, grandma is gone!

Love that third stanza Robert... Especially grandmother's pies.. I have only met my grandmother a few times but always remember her food... You are a talented poet whose pen still rules these shores...
