''Like Ice Cream''

Having ice cream with you,
Brightens the entire portrait in my youth.
Like catnip for a cat
-- the Reese's fun never stops!
Like monkeys in a zoo, above a tasty sherbet treetop.

Ice Cream with you!
How sweet, the imagery of 31 different treats
Cold butter and salty Placid water, with the works
Amaretto peaches, and slushy sauce --- twerk
Dandelion haven- above a marshmallow rocky road
Fireflies flicker around the fresh Lemon Drop Sky
A delightful sundae breeze on the crest of my tongue
 Soft frozen chocolate dessert, nothing can go amiss

Ice Cream with You!
So many to choose from,
Savor the delicious flavor
---of Butterscotch homemade rum

There's no other place I'd rather be
Lost Inside this forever hazel mint joy scenery
The ultimate indulgence in one icy bite
A cream coconut cherry delight
-served on the side with apple pie
In a cup, on a cone, my vanilla waffle boy
Everything-- about-- you-- roams free
like tubs of ice cream dreams

Listen to the sound of soft sprinkles cinnamon
The happy feeling that melts when you're around
I'm packing a giant scoop of Ice Cream from your heart

Adoring and Embracing Life
Every time you say the words
...I love you...

Ooey, gooey, give me choc-o-lot!
If I must, I'll take it liquid hot,
But "wicked" like they fix it in Madrid,
Thick as porridge, satin sunburnt sweet.
(Not like here: sugar,milk and cocoa, mix and heat).
Give me some hot chocolate I can eat!

Drip-drop-dripping from a spoon!
Give it - give it to me in a box.
Tantalize my lips with luscious bits,
Rum and amaretto morsels dipped.
Give me it in chips or chunks or blocks.
And please not those from K-mart or the grocer.
We connoisseurs much prefer it kosher!

Give it to me Swiss or straight from France.
Hurry while I loosen up my pants!
I'll make do with anything you have.
Drizzled over ice-cream nice and smoothy.
chocolate is the universal salve.
chilled or warm, but slathered on it soothes me.

Make my ice-cream chocolate flavored too-
peanut butter swirls with fudge will do.
Be my ever sweet-tooth choco-fairy.
Finger-feed me bonbons. I'm your baby.
Feed me plump and succulent black berry.
Give me, give me, give me what I crave,
and I shall be your love-starved-choco-slave.

When I wrote this, it just flowed to me, like chocolate water; usually I have to sit and think a bit and poetry often does not flow from me in this way!

Avacado, Amoretto

Silently bathed in avocado,
you soaked in the fragrance of a blanket
At midday, crunched your teeth
into something sweet and yellow,
no flower still no pretty petal;
I’ll make our evening coffee, I’ll make amoretto.

Why is it you liked amaretto
so much? As if the melted avocados
weren’t enough, to stare at petals
in the dark, stained blanket
etherized beneath a star shine yellow
Stare, as I stare at the white crevice: your teeth

that are your smile, your teeth
that become stained with the last sip of amaretto,
stained with our silence and the color yellow.
Like the silver knife who’s blade slips through the avocado,
and I wish for more minutes in a day to sit on this blanket
And more staples in this life to puncture the heart of a petal

Its mushy translucence conveys innocence, oh petal!
How I’d much like to forget and sink, or clap, my teeth
in rage but here upon this blanket
exists no rage. Here is where we sip our amaretto
And can think of nothing but the next bite of avocado
When, failing words, failing thought, a yellow

taxicab honks distantly, barely distinguishable from the yellow
buzzing bee in my hair. Swiftly landing on a nearby petal
whose delicate arms, the juice of the avocado
gently outpours from gaps between our teeth,
lover. Lover of the sky, lover of chocolate, and amaretto.
Lover asleep on cushioned soul of the yellow blanket

baked in brilliance from the sun, yellow blanket
under our footsteps, under our yellow
bodies painted in the sensuous scents of amaretto
with gum like innocence floating over any petal.
Don’t get me started that I need to brush my teeth
When yours are green with Avocado

and leaf, like the print on the blanket, yellow like yonder petal
whose strong scent reaches the taste of my teeth, stained coffee yellow
from the over-indulgence, avocado, amaretto.

Apricot pits can be

Added to a base of

Almonds, and you will have

An Italian liqueur,

A little bitter, but

Also so alluring

As sweet Tiramisu!

Christmas

The season of hope, the season of giving,
The time to reflect on the life you've been living.
Children innocent, gleeful, jolly,
Masquerading in magical midnight folly.

Token gifts exchanged with teary eyes,
Sentimentality to make up for expressionless lies.
The streets lined bright with twinkling lights,
Amaretto, giddy to dispell never-ending nights.

The anticipation is welcomed into their chests,
The disillusioned only waiting to end their direst.
Simply a day if you've no one to share with,
Only a waiting game, until it is over with.

Just one day yet it's been another year,
Rejection was always your biggest fear.
Melancholia swelling in your heart, loneliness growing more,
Then Christmas is over and it's all back to how it was before.

L-O-V-E-L-Y

Lovely is this day break, with a new dawns light hitting her face and my window sill.

Opious traits can be discerned, as i kiss her lips, carrying the sweetest taste of amaretto.

Very slowly i arise back into thought and nontheless delv

Excitedly into the depth of emotion only her love can achieve.

Lay your head down my rising angel,

You shouldnt revel, even if so beautifully.

Sleep tight my angel,

Sleep tight my lovely...

Premium Member Coffee

My god, I love coffee!
I love it black
with sugar or cream
and sometimes
chocolate or caramel.

With cinnamon and nutmeg;
coconut oil or vanilla bean.
With amaretto or bourbon,
which enhance my dreams.

The flavor of coffee
Is a wonderful treat;
At times, I’d prefer to drink coffee,
rather than eat.

Addicted to caffeine,
addicted to flavor;
each moment with coffee,
I really savor.

Lonely Farewell Dance

and in the shadows sets the amaretto sun-

the solitude has ascended and splashes of eventide fade
into the ivory glazed moonlight, but I am forsaken and
left alone as the forest wood remembers my sorrow.

a willow weeps for me-
she lends me a branch to wipe the salt running down my cheeks,
                       for she is my salvation tonight,
my guard against all that has left me in endless darkness.

                     -it has arrived-
desolation’s farewell dance. (I cannot breathe)
it resounds in a melody only my shattered soul can comprehend.
an aria of regret runs down my nape and I am drowning in
spiritual apathy…
             once again.

the night’s sullen blanket envelopes me, but the warmth turns to
ice and I bathe in the bitterness of the saturnine sky-
forever lost in lonely memories.
                                                 for you were my cadence...
                        ...now I am dying in rhythmic silence.

Drunken Gods

Cointreau broke Gluino
Thanatos shall be reconciled

White wine jumped Saxion
Hymenaios was cold

Campari hunted Higgs
Thetis shall be cut down

Anisette haunted Neutrino
Pan was enjoyed

Amaretto hated Boson
Astraea shall be calm

Cinnamon Schnapps camped Plekton
Apollo was seduced

Port peeled Proton
Uranus is comfortable

Brandy learned Plasmons
Oceanids shall be impetuous

Autumn Ambrosia

Oak and maple trees turn to wines
As summer's final sumac twines
To autumn's cool amaretto scent
Among the season's soft lament.

The lattices of amber rose
Turn skeletal with fall's repose.

The final phase of new moon's chill
Brushes autumn upon the hill,
While fall's ambrosia soothes our fears
Of winter's cool crystal chandeliers.

Premium Member Hurricane of Opals

A hurricane of opals
plays along the surface of the sea;
Such a fickle display of pageantry
as a war wages beneath the waves;

A hurricane of opals
controls the tumultuous tide;
Shades of violet bruise the sea
with the toil of the mermaid below
caught in calamity;

Light battles evil;
For a moment good
 is devoured by darkness,
then briefly there is balance;
Tale of fortitude the blueprint
of a forever fantasy;

A hurricane of opals,
rose tinge deep within the abyss;
Flowers that flicker and flash
within the eye of a storm so dangerous;

Turbulent to dead calm,
washed amaretto with sunshine
playing along the surface;
A hurricane of opals.

Ava and Me In Our Rainy Retreat

Amaretto morning
just like the earth to be grey today
Time for the old dog-eared book
all the while begging the rain to stay
I couldn't buy a moment like this
even in Lion's Head Antique store
I couldn't wish for a better excuse
to sink into myself, or to love you more
You grab the pillows and blanket
I'll fill the room with Red Star music
We will tell stories 'till we're laughing out loud
Ions of rain and the pressure diffuses
We are no longer dealing with death
We are no longer frazzled and wild
Just give us the rain on a Tuesday morning
and we become silly, as mother and child...
